My grandchildren enjoyed both days. It was educational, fun and lovely environment.

My 7 year old son has been going one day a week in the school holiday time . And he absolutely loves it . He always goes running in and is beaming with delight when he leaves , so proud of what he has made each day .

He has gone along each day not knowing anyone and always came away making new friends.

I would highly recommend sending your children to this amazing art club . All the staff members are so friendly and enthusiastic . And make it all feel like a very fun , safe and creative place to be .

My children have been attending the Hove art-k for a few years now after school and they absolutely love it. I’ve been so impressed with the range of materials they get to use and the skills they are practicing and learning. They are so proud of what they achieve and clearly really enjoy the process. Highly recommend!

My daughter loved her day there. The set up and format was great. Fantastic teacher who was very good, quite nurturing to the kids and she learnt so much in one day. Only downside, is quite expensive for a kids club..

Joined one of their first parent-child Christmas workshops (although my son had previously been to the regular classes) and it was really relaxed yet still learning all about how to use watercolours and techniques we could use to bring our watercolour painting to life a bit more.
Richard is a true artist and happy to answer any questions you have about art or techniques or his background!

Both my children have thoroughly enjoyed classes at Art-K Hove. They get to experience a range of art techniques and have fun!

I wanted my daughter to develop her art practice and Art-K in Hove was recommended to me. Her artwork is absolutely flourishing now and taking directions I never would have explored with her at home. By contrast, my son was always reluctant with art, and I was worried he wouldn’t engage in the class at all. Thanks to Richard and Helen’s sensitive input he’s keen to get started from the minute he arrives and is producing the most delicate and beautifully observed work. It’s lovely to see him grow in confidence with his artwork and just generally because of his success with it. I highly recommend this class for all ages and abilities. As well as being quite focussed it’s also very good fun!

Not worth the price as I expect more than what my child did. I cannot see any professional guidance to improve my child’s art ability.

My daughters attended the holiday club and both loved it. They came home with lots of great work and saying how much they enjoyed it.

How do I put across in words just how incredible this place is?
My son is 7 years old and has been coming to Art K in Hove for almost a year now. In that time, I have seen him grow into a completely different child. My son has autism and in his own words has struggled to find his calm space, the “world is so noisy” sadly, this led to him speaking down on himself and having low confidence and self esteem - Richard and Helen have gone above and beyond for my son, they have not only made it logistically accessible for him to be able to attend, but they have given my son the best gift ever, every single time I go to collect him he has a confidence about his work, he is proud of himself and he said that he is apart of the “art family” what better gift could I ever ask for, than my son to feel empowered and to have found his belonging?
Finding art K and the teachers that work there, was easily the best decision I have made for my child, thank you so very much for everything you do and offer for the children - I couldn’t be more grateful to you all!

My 9yold daughter is really enjoying her lessons. Her teacher is amazing and very supportive. I would highly recommend this to anyone with an arty child.

My child (10years) has just started an after school class with you and loves it! She is impressed with their individual approach to teaching, allowing the members of the group to get on with their own project with support as required, rather than everyone doing the same thing and ‘taught’ so much.

My daughter has been attending art-k for a couple of years now and I cannot fault them. The difference between art-k and the after school art class is the quality of the learning. As an official art school the materials, education, knowledge and expertise my daughter has been exposed to is first rate. If your child has a passion for art, I highly recommend art-k.

My daughter has really enjoyed her weekly session art class. Teachers are warm and welcoming as well as supportive of my daughter’s autism. The club has helped her gain more confidence in her self and abilities.
