ASSSA Super Team in Torrox Costa

Ik ben 4 jaar geleden in Sayalonga komen wonen en geniet dagelijks van het mooie leven. Daar hoort ook een goede gezondheid bij. 2 jaar geleden heb ik totaal onverwachts een herseninfarct gekregen en onlangs weer een terugval. Ik ben 56 jaar en super fit. Wat ben ik blij met ASSSA en vooral met de begeleiding van het super team in Torrox Costa / Virgina. Ze denken met mij mee en wat zo belangrijk is, ze komen zelf met aanvullende informatie en voorstellen. Er wordt meteen actie ondernomen. Ik spreek helaas uit ervaring, in het ziekenhuis moet je je verzekeringskaart tonen. Alles wordt meteen in werking gezet, nooit vragen. Zo moet het zijn. ASSSA kan ik iedereen aanbevelen.

Asssa should be avoided

Be careful because Asssa is a very bad insurance. When you have a knee problem and need surgery, they refuse to perform the operation, claiming that you did not report it when signing the contract.
It is an unreliable insurance policy and should be avoided.

No gratis, la contrato.

Le pongo 1 estrella, porque no puedo poner 0. Me cambié de mutua porque me ahorraba unos euros, pero lo barato me salió caro. La contratación fue una odisea, 40 emails tuve que mandar, me pedían mil informes de médicos, pero no me los pedían todos de golpe si no uno a uno. Ya empezamos mal, las coberturas son pésimas, vas a un hospital a un especialista pero en ese hospital no te entra ninguna prueba, tienes que irte a otro... Para pedir autorizaciones te piden informes del medico para todo, para las pruebas más básicas que en todas las mutuas que he estado no hay que pedir autorización, pues en esta si... Y para concluir son malos hasta para darte de baja, les envías un email, que contestan al mes y medio, y te contestan en mitad del mes que ya te han dado de baja, sin avisar con antelación o dejar un margen de tiempo para contratar otra... Está mutua no se la deseo ni a mí peor enemigo.

We now understand why ASSSA ratings are so high

Like many folks who get a bit overwhelmed by all the private insurance options in Spain, we felt a bit stressed. We researched several companies and when we looked on Trust Pilot, ASSSA had the highest rating by far. After completing the application process, we now understand why the ratings are high. The entire process was relatively straightforward and when we had questions, we were expertly assisted by Judith G. Judith was patient, thorough and prompt. Thanks again Judith!

I used ASSSA for my health insurance…

I used ASSSA for my health insurance when obtaining my residency 5 years ago . In those 5 years I have had health issues and always found ASSSA Very helpful in all aspects especially helping me in the language I speak when I never fully understood the processes I was going through. I have and will continue to recommend this company to my family and friends my wife has just gone through the process of joining and the ladies in the office couldn't be more helpful

Mi experiencia con Asssa está siendo…Nefasta

Mi experiencia con Asssa está siendo muy negativa, contraté la póliza a mediados de Diciembre y hoy 4 de Enero sigo sin estar dada de alta en la mutua, no dispongo de la tarjeta en mi domicilio…Le comento a Natalia Chamizo que si harán una revisión en el precio de la cuota de Enero y me dice que no, que me pasarán la cuota íntegra con fecha de 1 de Enero. Porque tengo que pagar un servicio del que no puedo disfrutar y del que todavía no estoy dada del alta? Desde ya, no me parece una mutua seria, me estoy arrepintiendo de haber contratado

Please AVOID this company

Please AVOID this company. We used ASSSA for our health insurance whilst we was waiting for our residencia to be confirmed. They tried to get us to renew for a second year in which we was undecided but the women told us on the phone that we can take our time with that decision and if you dont want to renew, dont pay for the new policy and it will automatically be cancelled. On her advise, thats what we did and now we are being chased for a large payment for a family off 5. The calls we have received since this have been so rude and abrupt and threatening, we are actually in shock at how bad their customer service have been. Please avoid, there are plenty other options out there.

This is a terrible company- AVOID

This is a terrible company which I would advise people to avoid at all costs. We paid in excess of £2000 for a policy which unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we were unable to proceed with. Asssa took the whole amount despite our policy not being due to start for another two months. Communication was very poor, almost non existent in fact. Additionally there was a significant data breach whereby they sent us information about another policy holder and their HIV status. They have no moral compass.

READ THE SMALL PRINT

Following an accident (broken ribs) I had an x-ray at Quiron Hospital where they discovered a cancerous tumour in my lung. The Hospital then required a PET CT Scan be carried out. ASSSA advised me that the scan was not covered under the conditions of the STANDARD policy. I had this policy for 14 years at a cost of around EUR 1000 per annum. I had wrongly assumed I was covered for any event. I have since had the scan and surgery under the Spanish National Health system who have been excellent. My advice is to check out what you are covered for with ASSSA (Diagnostic Methods 3.4) as they certainly will not advise you so long as they are collecting your premium every month!

Contentísima con Asssa!!

Hola, bajo mi experiencia con Asssa puedo decir que no he tenido ningún problema, al contrario, cada vez que he necesitado autorización al momento lo he tenido, si no sabía a qué médico podía ir, he llamado o enviado un email y de seguida me han contestado con un listado de médicos o centros donde poder ir. Estoy súper tranquila con esta mutua porque sé que mi familia y yo estamos protegidos con ellos. Y si tengo que recomendar alguna sin duda diría esta!!

Clowns and mas Payasos

A terrible company, unethical, uncaring, garbage. Stay clear. They are always changing their requirements and have the WORST customer service. If there is a worse company, I have not seen it. We have wasted so much time with these clowns (payasos). We HATE them unreservedly.

No se os ocurra venir con Asssa son lo peor en todo, unos estafadores, cuando los contratas te lo pintan todo genial y que te cubre todo, luego la realidad es otra, buscaros otras aseguradoras porque esta solo os dará dolores de cabeza.

Use another health care service.

I have been with Asssa for 9 years or more and have on a few occasions over the years wondered what I was paying for! Every time I have used their services and it hasn’t been much, I am met with a long wait before I received things as simple as physio. Some doctors that are under Asssa are not authorised to suggest treatments until you get a referral from a trauma department. Then you have to wait for Asssa to authorise the treatment. If I had something more serious wrong with me, I’d probably be dead. Example, pain in neck and shoulder. It’s now a month since I had the first doctors appointment which took 3 weeks to get and I am still waiting for authority from Asssa to get treatment. I also do not understand why I should continue to pay for a service that I am not receiving! It’s a yearly contract in Spain with any health insurance. I would of been better off saving the thousands given to Asssa over the years and when needed, pay for my own private treatments with a doctor I trust. When you produce your Asssa card at the doctors receptionist, you can almost feel that they don’t want to deal with patience’s from Asssa. It was the receptionist that cancelled my physio in the first place because the doctor did not have authority! Before signing your health away to any health insurance because they offer a great price, do your homework.

Las trabajadoras de ASSSA en Córdoba son, sin duda el pilar de la compañía. Su dedicación, empatía y profesionalidad no tienen comparación. Cada vez que he necesitado ayuda, me he encontrado con personas que no solo resuelven mis problemas, sino que lo hacen con una calidez y paciencia que te hacen sentir realmente cuidado.
Son expertas en su campo, y manejan cada situación con una eficiencia admirable. No importa si es una simple duda sobre mi póliza o una urgencia más compleja, siempre encuentro en ellas una respuesta clara y una solución efectiva. Son la cara visible de un servicio que funciona a la perfección y demuestran que, más allá de los trámites y las coberturas, el trato humano sigue siendo lo más importante.
Gracias a su arduo trabajo, esta aseguradora se distingue del resto. Ellas hacen que cada asegurado se sienta valorado y protegido, por eso se merecen mi reconocimiento.

Run away and do it quick

Run away and do it quick!
Horrible customer care, confusing and time-consuming process and the selection of service providers is shocking (the will send you to the shadies clinics that are not even appropriately equipped).
They will tell you that the service is covered and then inform you that you will be charged for it after you've completed it.
Any condition that your doctor identify, they will claim is pre-existing and it's not covered by the policy.
Save yourself the trouble and look for a proper insurance company.

Excellent Consultancy and Customer Experience

I had a truly pleasant consultancy experience with ASSSA. Ms. Rosa Ruiz was exceptional throughout the entire process.

I was exploring suitable insurance options to support my job-seeking visa application in Spain after completing my studies. Ms. Rosa Ruiz responded to all my detailed questions with clarity, patience, and professionalism. Her responses were timely and very informative.

Moreover, due to some personal circumstances, I was unable to respond to her promptly regarding my decision. Despite this, Ms. Rosa Ruiz kindly followed up to check on my situation, showing genuine care for the customer and great dedication to her work.

Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I had to return to my home country and leave Spain, even though my intention was to stay and continue the process. Otherwise, I would have certainly proceeded with ASSSA insurance, thanks to the outstanding support and attention Ms. Rosa Ruiz provided.

ASSSA Vera office

At renewal my policy was upgraded from Standard to Master plan at no additional cost in order to satisfy the Spanish government private medical cover requirement for renewal of none lucrative visa's. We also now benefit from the well man and well woman annual checks.
Recently needed to make use of the policy due to having a heart attack. Karen at the Vera office has been fantastic in helping us manage through this difficult time.
