do NOT use this courier service. My parcel arrived damaged after being sent to Australia to the USA. I emailed them, they replied and said they would investigate and lodge a claim. I specifically asked them if I needed to chase it up myself with the courier which they denied. I waited 6 weeks, chased them up and after a few days they got back to me and said there's nothing they can do. I asked them what the actual courier said, they turned around and said they didnt lodge the claim because of an "oversight" on their behalf. Now too much time has elapsed for me to make my own claim, so im out $500, a broken item and cannot lodge my own claim. Customer service just apologised and passed off the responsibility. Do NOT use this service, its not worth it.

Caught inventing ghost fees.

I booked a pickup through Interparcel (via Hunter Express). On Friday, I attempted to reschedule the collection, but Interparcel's online live chat was completely unavailable, giving me no way to modify it. Since the shipment was no longer needed, I had to cancel it. Interparcel then slapped a $44 "Futile Pickup Fee" on my cancellation.

When I questioned it, customer service politely told me the fee was non-refundable because it had "already been incurred" by the carrier. However, I went straight to Hunter Express to verify this. Hunter Express explicitly confirmed that Interparcel had not even contacted them regarding this booking yet, and that they do not charge a futile fee on their end.

In other words, Interparcel is inventing carrier costs out of thin air to pocket a $44 profit from a cancelled service. While the customer service agent was surface-level polite, the lack of transparency and dishonesty surrounding this refund decision is unacceptable. Refusing a refund on the grounds of an "already incurred" fee that doesn't actually exist is a highly misleading trading practice.

Consider this a massive warning to other users before booking with Interparcel: they will charge you for unfair, non-existent events while cutting off their support channels when you actually need to reschedule. If Interparcel does not waive this $44 charge and issue a 100% full refund immediately, I will be lodging a formal complaint with NSW Fair Trading and the ACCC to review these predatory fees. Verify everything they charge you for!

They lost my expensive goods during shipping and absolutely refuse to compensate me. Never ship with this company because they are not based in Australia. They will not compensate you, not even for shipping costs

Good customer support

I'm not sure what happened, but the courier didn't pick up the parcel when it was booked in. I had a couple of emails with Interparcel, and Rebecca, one of the customer service reps escalated my booking, and it was picked up today, which I was very happy about.

What should have been a simple parcel…

What should have been a simple parcel collection became an almost week-long exercise in chasing contradictory information and failed pickup attempts.

Despite the parcel being clearly labelled, accessible, and left exactly where instructed, collections repeatedly failed. I was then told by the courier that “no parcel was available” — despite having timestamped photos proving it sat outside all day, including photos matching the courier’s own “proof of attendance.”

The only reason this was eventually resolved was because I escalated repeatedly and effectively had to build an evidence pack proving the parcel existed on my own doorstep.

Delays happen. Repeated failures, inaccurate reporting, and customers having to do forensic analysis of a bird doormat should not.

COURIER or "courier"?

Throughout my long life in business, I always have associated the service called "courier" to be secure and faster than the Postal Service. This is not the case when you send something via Interparcel Australia!
The organisation appears to be good and advises that your parcel will go by the international DHL network.
On 14th of March 2026, I booked a service, and paid for sending an A4 envelope with documents from Rockingham, Western Australia to Western Cape, South Africa. The envelope was collected by a courier the next day on the 15th. I received a tracking number, and after a week I checked on the item in the Interparcel portal. The advice was "Delivered". I was delighted and contacted the recipient in South Africa, only to find out the envelope had not yet arrived. I phoned Interparcel on the 11th of April and was told that the envelope had been delivered to DHL in Sydney.
I was given a new Tracking Number to use in the DHL portal. I tracked the envelope and found that it arrived in Sydney on the 25th of March; It had been taken east, in the opposite direction of South Africa in the west; taking 10 days to get to Sydney.
Tracing over the next two weeks indicated that the item was still in Sydney. I just gave up trying to get things moving. Eventually the item reached its destination on the 12th of May 2026. It had taken 51 days to get there!
It has taught me a time and money lesson, and we will never use this carrier again.

Don't trust delivery times

Don't trust delivery times. Paid premium for next day delivery, arrived 3pm the following day and if you question support they just say their fine print "doesn't guarantee delivery times"

Save your money, go direct so at least you have the terms of the delivery company.

Failed to fulfil

I booked a parcel for pick up on Monday via Interparcel/UPS for the following day (Tuesday). After seeing it was not collected I contacted them on Wednesday but as I had other engagements in the morning and it was after the 12pm cut off I was unable to arrange a pick up until the following day (Thursday). After the item still not being collected on Thursday I contacted them Friday whereby I was advised it was escalated with UPS management and the pickup was scheduled for today. As India is 4.5 hours behind I now sit here at 9:45pm on a Friday evening completely disgusted and agitated as the parcel as still not been collected and I now cannot do anything until Monday. Although Interparcel has given me written confirmation of things to occur, these things have not happened. Extremely poor service. Do not recommend.

Sent parcel and entered correct…

Sent parcel and entered correct details. A week later was sent a message that I would be charged an additional $100 stating that the parcel was double the size which was incorrect. Asked for evidence and interparcel asked me to provide pictures of the box after it was delivered. Avoid at all costs.

Rebecca was proactive, prompt, assisted me with an amazing attitude and was able to resolve my enquire. So happy with the service I received today. The consultant was absolutely brilliant.

we had 1 box of 2 missing that we…

we had 1 box of 2 missing that we reported,a photo of the delivery has since been provided showing the 2 boxes,when i came home the box i recived was not in the location shown on the photo but near the front door where you would expect them to be.we have never hsd a parcel stolen before as we live in a quiet cul de sack,but we can only assume that is what heppened,we shall hane to insist on a signichure from now on.

Will definitely use again.

Driver was considerate enough to transport the laptops in the cab of his Ute rather than the tray (light showers in the area). Delivery was prompt and within the time expected. Driver followed the advice on the booking for access to the building (best access on different street than street address).

Would definitely use again.
