OnLineTraining was established in 2008 to provide flexible professional development for teaching professionals in the UK who support children and young people with special educational needs. In 2008, we began our collaboration with the Departments of Education in Australia, initially partnering with NSW to adapt our courses to suit the Australian education system. In the years that followed, our courses were implemented by the Departments of Education in all States and Territories in Australia, and many of the Catholic Dioceses and Independent Schools associations, too. Our courses are accredited by the teacher accreditation authorities, and contribute to the professional learning hours requirements for progression through the Australian Professional Standards. To date, over 140,000 participants worldwide have taken part in our courses

The mixture of how information is provided ensures ongoing engagement - videos of real life situations and people, graphics etc.
There is an abundance of resources that are accessible. that you can have ongoing access to the resources and the training is also an advantage.

Content was ok. Face to face sessions felt rushed by the tutors which sadly took away from the enjoyment and engagement with the course content.

Easy to navigate work your way through the modules. I liked that you can go back to past sections and the way the resources are organised. You can select to view all the resources for the course and/or the ones specific to the content you are working your way through.

As an LSA it is painful to have to secure a teacher to work with as their time & ours do not correlate unless an LSA is released from class when their teacher is off class.

As a secondary teacher I found a lot of the material primary level.
The website was not intuitive to me - moving back and forward through the course was not easy without an explanation from my tutor. (even thjey found some parts ordinary)
