Ordeal
I purchased a convertible Mustang from Autothentic Ltd for a European road trip with my partner. Less than two months later, the car suffered a major engine failure while we were in Spain.
Despite providing diagnostic evidence and giving the dealer the opportunity to resolve the issue, I received limited support, which resulted in significant stress, time, and financial loss.
What followed was a three-month ordeal, involving repair delays, substantial car rental costs, and being effectively stranded abroad.
If you are planning to take a vehicle purchased from this dealership outside the UK, I would strongly advise being prepared for the possibility of significant costs (in my case around £6,000), delays, and inconvenience.
I purchased the car believing the dealership was reliable. Based on my experience, I cannot say that this was the case.
