Avenues Avis 

I didn't actually get to the point where I used Avenues for any medical treatment so I can't comment on that. Probably the doctors and nurses are absolutely fine.
However - after the close of my prior clinic Ovom, Avenues offered me several promises regarding transporting my frozen eggs to their clinic for free and deeply discounted IVF treatment. I enquired with them and went through a week of consultations. Everything was filled with mistakes. Staff were trying to upsell me tests I'd already done before they understood who I was, people were cancelling appointments with no reason, the doctor hadn't read any of my documents despite me uploading them two days prior, and then I was given multiple unclear quotations and conflicting information. Whenever I tried to communicate with them, an AI agent would come back to me talking nonsense. I had nothing against using Avenues for future fertility treatment and it honestly would have been more convenient for me to do it in London, however fertility clinics need to demonstrate basic competency and administrative organisation skills when they are auditioning for a new client. I couldn't believe how repeatedly mistakes were made and no one would answer questions directly or ever get their act together. For the prices they charge, I could never justify such a terrible service.

My husband and I recently had a very disappointing experience with Avenues Clinic London, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend their services based on what we experienced.
Initially, I was contacted via WhatsApp regarding a promotional fertility package. The package was advertised at a discounted rate and included a doctor consultation, AMH test, semen analysis, fertility investigations, and a 3D scan. During these discussions, both male and female fertility assessments were mentioned, leading us to reasonably believe that the package covered both my husband and me.
Following payment, we attended our first consultation. During this appointment, only I was assessed. I underwent a scan and consultation with a gynaecologist who reviewed my results. We were then informed that my husband would need a separate consultation with another doctor who specialised in male fertility. At no stage were we told that this doctor was external or that there would be any additional consultation fees involved.
The consultation for my husband was arranged directly by the clinic while we were there. He attended, underwent an examination and consultation, and we heard nothing further until a few days later when we unexpectedly received a £400 bill. This came as a complete shock, as there had been no prior discussion, warning, or transparent explanation of these additional costs.
The communication issues did not stop there. We were repeatedly chased by members of the team to book a virtual nurse consultation. However, on the day of the appointment, no one contacted us. When we called to find out what had happened, we were told that the nurse did not know why she was supposed to call us and therefore did not proceed with the appointment. We were later told that another payment was apparently required before the consultation could take place. Again, this had never been clearly explained to us beforehand.
There were also administrative issues. The clinic sent out testing kits for my husband's semen analysis and my blood tests, but the address on the package was incorrect. Thankfully, our local postman recognised my name and delivered it to the correct address. Had he not done so, the package could easily have been lost.
Overall, the experience has been stressful, confusing, and extremely frustrating. The lack of transparency regarding costs, poor internal communication, administrative errors, and missed appointments caused unnecessary anxiety at what is already a sensitive and emotional time for anyone seeking fertility treatment.
This was only our initial experience with the clinic, yet it left us with so little confidence in the service that we have decided to look elsewhere. Fertility treatment is a significant emotional and financial investment, and patients deserve clear communication, transparency, and professionalism.

Proceed with caution. Our experience resulted in wasted time, unexpected expenses, and avoidable stress, which no patient should have to endure.

We’re still in the middle of our journey with Avenues, but already wanted to share some experience so far.

Our doctor, Dr Vivienne Hall, is quite simply everything we could have hoped for. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful and attentive. She explains things clearly, thinks them through with us and adapts when needed. We feel very well looked after.

The nursing team - Stavrula, Mina, Ania, Louisa and Louise - are just excellent. They are kind and reassuring, but also remarkably efficient; everything runs like clockwork.

A big thank you also to Costas, our anaesthesiologist. Calm, precise and thoroughly professional, he inspired confidence + the anaesthetic itself was very smooth.

We don’t know yet where our journey will take us but we already feel very grateful to Dr Viv and the whole team for the care we have received.

I felt very cared for and in safe hands from start to finish. Support was always on hand at any hour. Shout out to Stavroulla, Louisa, Mina, Louise, Costas and Dr Daniella! After freezing at three different clinics it’s definitely my best experience by far.

After two FAILED IVF cycles with Avenues, I unfortunately cannot recommend them if you have a complex case requiring truly personalised care, such as severe endometriosis.

My disappointment is not because my treatment was unsuccessful—IVF is never guaranteed. It is because I often felt I had to research my own condition, repeatedly advocate for myself, and push for discussions about investigations and treatment options. Communication was poor, and I frequently had to chase for updates. After my most recent failed cycle, following my consultation , I was told someone would follow up with me, but no one ever did.

One of the reasons I chose Avenues was because I specifically wanted a doctor with expertise in endometriosis. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those expectations. I don’t know whether this reflects the clinic as a whole or just my experience with my consultant, but it was extremely disappointing and ultimately heartbreaking. So much tears!

My experience may not reflect every doctor’s approach, but it left me feeling unsupported during one of the hardest times of my life. In the end, I felt like a number rather than a person.

Marketing over safe, clean care.
Had my initial blood test at avenues was really disappointed to find approx 80% of the clinical team to not be wearing gloves while handling blood & urine samples. Not being bare below the elbow & with hair down - all basic infection control procedures.

I asked to speak to somebody to raised my concerns and was told no one was available and someone would call me - funny because the influencer who already had her mic on was greeted and taken to a side room during this time!

I was keen to start are IVF journey and had paid out just under £20k for a 3 cycle package - I never did get a call and took 3 weeks of chasing to speak to the operational manager and even longer to get a refund. There was no complaints procedure to be found on their website or app.

I don't normally post reviews but anyone looking for fertility hope can be vulnerable and I wish I had seen this type of honest review before handing over that amount of money.

I cannot tell you how kind and caring the team at Avenues are. They have helped me at a time when I have had some serious issues with another clinic. Everyone I met knew my name and my notes, they were kind and the environment was so supportive.

Little things like the lights being dimmed in procedures, gowns that fit plus size women and the comfy waiting room made such a difference to the experience. Thanks for making me feel cared for!
