I ordered replacement suction cups

I ordered replacement suction cups. They came in good time in brand new condition as expected. It's good the company offers spare parts that saved me from wasting the main body.
The dam works really well and until the suction cup rotted through (we didn't keep it dry much between uses), we've been able to save a lot of waste water.

Worst purchase, hidden charges

This is by far the worst product I have brought for my child. I purchased the baby dam and orbital seat, both have flaws and I would highly recommend new parents to look elsewhere.

The baby dam, was continuously losing water as the suction pads and barriers were flimsy. Having to get the right temperature water for a child is key to bath time, constantly having to take the child out and refill was an absolute nightmare.

The orbital seat also loses suction and could move very easily in water. The clip at the front of the product is also dangerous and can easily catch the skin of a child.

After advising the company I wanted a refund, I was then met with customer services advising of administrative costs of £2.50 per returned item on top of having to pay for the shipping costs. This is not advertised on the website and is hidden in the T&Cs.

I have also given the products to other parents to use and they have zero confidence in using the products after trying. Myself and other parents who have tried to use these products and will never be buying from this company again! and informing all new relatives and friends to avoid these products.

We are very sorry that you are unhappy with our products. When you notified us that you wished to return the items we requested information and a photograph of the products in your bath so that we could assist you and identify any issues but you would not provide this. We also notified you that since we could not identify a fault with either product due to lack of information, you would have to pay the cost of returning the items to us in accordance with our terms and conditions. The cheapest way of doing this is for us to provide you with a prepaid Royal Mail returns label at a cost of £2.50 per item. We would then deduct this cost from your return. We also advised you that although you had not provided us with any images of the products to enable us to identify any faults, we would inspect the products upon return to our warehouse. You then advised us that you would not be returning the products but would sell them on Ebay.
We regret that our products and Customer Service did not provide you with your expected level of satisfaction but we are satisfied that we did request information so that we could assist you but you were unwilling to provide it.

Hot water saving device....

Really good for saving water and keeping little ones away from they hot tap, but only just wide enough for my bath. This make it a little dodgy if the toddler leans on it accidentally. Can lead to catastrophic dam failure! Beware, and keep an eye out. Having an extra wide size to purchase would be a good move.

So I was very excited when ordering this product despite the negative reviews. I thought maybe it will be a perfect fit in my bath. It arrived and I followed the manufactures instructions and even watched the YouTube video. Unfortunately the product was not a snug fit on my bath and I had to option but to return. So I had packed the item away.
I firstly had to request a return and wait for it to be approved. Instead I received an email from the seller requesting photos and they claimed it’s probably leaking water because I have not assessed it properly. So I unpacked the item again. Send photos then packed the item up again.
Few days later as I’m still waiting for my refund to be accepted by the seller, I received another email from them. They ask my fit more photos as the believes I was not using the product properly and advised I need to push down harder on the plastic so the seal is pushed down more. So what do I do...?
I unpack the item again and take more pictures and do as the seller says. I then write back saying if I push the plastic down are harder I might damage the product and then I’ll receive no refund. So I pack the item abs finally they approved the refund request. They also charged £2.50 for the return label. Cheeky f@*kers!!
After I had returned the item I tracked it but still they did not process the refund. I waited 4 days and had to progress the refund even though I could see on Royal Mail tracking that they had received the item back.
They then send a short message back saying ‘refund issued’

I would avoid buying from this seller purely based on the poor customer service. They make it out as if the buyer does not know how to follow simple instructions and make it extremely difficult for you to return. They also charge you for the return! Never again from this seller!!

Every product is sent with our clear Refunds and Returns policy which states that a charge of £2.50 is made for every return unless the product itself is faulty. To identify product faults it is our company policy to request an image of BabyDam fitted in the bath because in the majority of cases the advice we are able to provide from seeing an image enables the customer to use the product successfully. Could you please send me the details of your purchase ie date and invoice number so that I can review why there was a delay in processing your return? The email is info@babydam.com.

We have located your order and the correspondence. We note that the first photos bounced back to you and had to be resent on 21st April. The pictures were not clear and in an attempt to help you further we sent a reply to you on the same day and asked for further photos which you sent eight days later on 29th April together with a message where you explained that the process was causing you stress and we immediately agreed to process your return and refund. We received your item back seven days after issuing your returns label and processed the refund three days later which is in line with our Returns and Refunds Policy which states that refunds will be processed within five days of receipt of the returned item.
Again we are very sorry that you are unhappy with our Customer Service.

Concept is great

Concept is great and makes for safer bathtime, but it's a bit leaky in our bath. Still works though.

It does work, brilliant item ☺️
So glad we bought it!
It’s saves a lot of water and time.
Would definitely recommend to any parents looking to buy this item.

Not worth it

Brought this instead of a baby bath, thought it would last abit longer, should have not bothered really.
Firstly maybe you have to have a certain shape of bath for this to work properly I have a bath that is rounded at both ends and this doesn’t seem to work in my bath. When you think that it is secure I leave the bathroom and when I return the water has escaped. Waste of time, money and effort. Love the concept but doesn’t seem to do what it states. I won’t be recommending to my clinic that I run for pregnant women.

Easy to use

Easy to use, saves water which is great. Can use from birth or when you are going onto the next stage from the baby bath. Great investment.
