Absolutely Lovely!
As someone who's worn spectacles since I entered my teens, I must say that I was worried about ordering spectacles across continents knowing how wrong things can go and how annoying rectification can be.
However, the Linea A in spiced orange reminded me of someone whom I respected quite a bit and I bit the bullet. I received them in early June and now that I've had them for almost two months, I can confidently say that they are my favourite spectacles ever.
They feel substantial, the colour of the acetate is true to the website (which was quite important to me) and there are some lovely artistic flourishes such as on the metal inserts which most may not notice. The frames are a wonderful melding of classic and modern styling and I have received numerous compliments since I started wearing them. It is this attention to detail that sets the team at Banton Frameworks apart from their competitors. I'd also like to note here that the lenses used in the frames seem to be of good quality and I have no complaints in that regard.
Though the frames are large and heavier than my titanium pair, they have found themselves becoming my daily driver while the titanium pair have been relegated to my motorcycle helmet spectacles for their thinness.
Their customer service is also excellent. I did need to contact the team to get their advice on modifying the spectacles so that they would stop slipping off my face in the hot Indian weather. Jamie replied quite quickly with various options including instructions on hooking the spectacle arms. My local optician found his instructions quite useful and even admired the craftsmanship of the frames!
My only point of criticism would be the lens cloth. It looks lovely but it ends up spreading dirt all over the lens leaving it cloudy unless I use water for cleaning which may not be possible on the go. To be fair, I find this to be a problem with most spectacle lenses. My favourite cloth is the one that came with a pair of sunglasses that I'd ordered from another English spectacle maker called Bird Eyewear. For some reason, that cloth leaves the lens clear even when cleaning without water. I'd consider reworking the cloth, but this might just be a niche/rare complaint.
To conclude my rambling, I love my pair of spectacles from Banton Frameworks and hope they last me a long long time.

Stylish, spectacular, awesome, elegant....
The star ship Enterprise was equipped with Scotty the engineer which was an acknowledgment to the exceptional engineering that was to be found in Scotland's shipyards.
Hopefully the next Star Trek movie will have the whole cast sporting spectacles made by Lucy and Jamie aka Banton Frameworks.
These glasses are of exceptional quality that as well as looking extremely durable have bags of style and elegance.
I feel like a man transformed when I wear them, I think they are going to be a defining characteristic of me from now on. I had a few social engagements over the weekend and couldn't help feeling that I was noticed because I was oozing style.
Lens quality was perfect, I'm sure I've had anti-glare previously but this seems to be more effective than previously.
Personally I can't wait to buy the next pair :)

The Glasses have just arrived and they fit perfectly, the clarity is impressive and I can see much better than my previous pair. Do not think this is an "Internet" company. Beautiful frames and fantastic customer service
I want to say firstly, the product is top notch. If you are looking for frames that are special and make a unique statement, Banton Frame Works is the frame for you. The website is easy to use with all of the information you could need to make your decision. The customer service is fantastic. (I live in Canada and we managed to tackle a payment issue, totally my fault, in real time ON A SATURDAY! Thank you, Lucy.)
The product arrived and did not disappoint. The box, packaging, cloths, and note were are wonderful touch. It really did make the whole experience special.

These glasses are truly a cut above any other glasses I have worn so far. The craftsmanship and expertise that has gone into them is clear to see. Disappointing Purchase due to Scale/Support
Customer service with the order was pretty disappointing considering the model the company uses to sell glasses. I have ordered several pairs of glasses online from different retailers and all did better jobs at supporting me through the purchase and specifically providing "how to fit" the glasses properly once received since there is no optometrist associated with the transaction. Banton provides nothing to help you fit the glasses once you get them. I live overseas and was not able to send them back and forth to have them fitted, so I was completely left on my own. I still don't feel the glasses fit properly but, buyer beware, I will have no recourse since I am an American customer. I am also disappointed with the "try on" feature on their website. The glasses were much more scaled to my face size than what the actual glasses are. The frames are WAY oversized for my face and I feel truly that their glasses are sized for men and do not feature female proportions. Will not buy glasses overseas again. Learned a tough lesson through this.

The best glasses I have ever had bar none. You can see and feel the hard work that goes into creating these works of art. They are stylish and timeless, substantial without being too heavy, every detail has been thought out, they scream quality. When you have any kind of question the co owner, Jamie answers timely and thoroughly so you can place your order with confidence. Beautiful frames, excellent craftsmanship, superb customer service
The title says it all really. I recently purchased glasses from Banton Frameworks, and I'm thoroughly impressed.
I was a bit apprehensive about buying frames online as a first time customer as I had previously bought frames from the high street. However, the frames that Jamie and Lucy produce are of excellent quality. I love the way the frames feel robust at the hinges when you open them - I think that’s a true testament to the craftsmanship that’s gone into making these glasses.
Beyond the product itself, their customer service is outstanding—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this company for anyone seeking high-quality, well-crafted eyewear.

Bad customer service ruins it
Ordered a case online. Used a self populating app for vouchers (PayPal Honey) who added a code that gave me £25 off the order. Order was shortly canceled by the company with no explanation but received one on asking. Was told it’s because the code was not for use with that product. Fair enough. Did try and explain that if a code works on a product then the discount should be honoured but fair enough if not. Additionally it’s the merchant’s responsility to assign discrete codes to products, not up to the buyer to know which codes are for what especially if autopopulated by an app like Honey. Again, fair enough if not honoured (even though it’s bad practice). What I didn’t appreciate was the statement by Lucy that I knew the code was not for the case and the insinuation that I was essentially trying to misuse a code to get a discount. Bad form and I did not place another order, and have not recommended them to a friend who was eyeing their spectacles. A shame for their customer service and unfounded insinuations.
