Price was competitive. Pick up location close to accommodation. Car was nearly new.

We waited roughly 1hr for our car to be prepared. The reason given was that the car we were supposed to get was given to someone else before we got to the Darwin city office. The car we eventually received was great. Nice, new very clean and neat. As flights are odd time we dropped the car off at the office close to the airport. We didn't receive any lock box codes to drop the keys off. I worked out a code using the worn buttons on the lock box. Fortunately I got it right.

Great experience. Booked our car through the NT Visitor Centre in Darwin.

The female staff member was rude and unhelpful on two occasions. Their customer service was atrocious.
When I returned the car, a different person was there and they were much friendlier.

During our Darwin holiday we twice rented cars from Bargain. The rates we really competitive and the cars, one large SUV and one small SUV were presented in excellent condition and great to drive. Pick and return arrangements really easy and staff very friendly and most helpful

It was a great GM only 9,000 on the clock, the car did have warning signals on the dash but told nothing to be concern about. Being honest the only bug bearer i had was the $30 charge for dropping off at your airport depot then to use your shuttle service to the airport very happy with your shuttle service but not the $30 charge.

Great price and the Darwin city staff were excellent

The pick up experience on the Sunday morning was far from being satisfactory, Only one staff member was on duty in the office with a queue of people waiting to pick up their vehicles and at the same time others were returning their vehicles which had to be checked for damage by the same individual in the office, thus all customers involved were seriously delayed, my personal delay to collect my vehicle was 2 hours. Also the vehicles for collection were not ready, still requiring vaccuming and washing by again only one staf member which added to the delays caused by the lack of staff in the office. This delay soured my overall experience with Bargain Car Rentals in Darwin.

Car was meant to be ready at 10. Did not get it until after 12.
