Very disappointing service
I ordered a hidden cistern. Several days after placing the order I received an email to say there would be up to 3 weeks lead time, would I like an alternative or cancel. I asked for an alternative, but a couple of days later was informed that they couldn't provide an alternative. All this time my customer has been without the use of her en-suite toilet! It reflects badly on me and I certainly won't be using this company again

Good Afternoon Michael,
I am sorry to see that you have left us a one star review.
Having looked at what has happened, I can see that we quoted 10 working days on your order confirmation and we were not advised by Twyford until the 1st July that the cistern you ordered was not going to be available for some time. With regards to alternatives, we are experiencing delays of hidden cisterns across a hanful of suppliers as there are production issues trying to get the componants needed to make the units. We did notify you of this within 7 working days of your order.
I am sorry that we have let you, and your customer, down on this occasion. It is never our intention to disappoint our customers in such a way.

Ordering process was easy & clear
Ordering process was easy & clear. Delivery was poor, there was no notification of delivery date so I got home & found two large boxes containing a toilet left in full view of the road. Delivery all correct, well packaged & undamaged though

Thank you for your review.
I am a little surprised to hear that DPD did not send any notification of your delivery. I can see on the DPD tracking that a text was sent to you at 08:34 on the morning of delivery. If this was not the case, I can only apologise on their behalf.
We are unfortunately in the hands of the driver when they determine a "safe place", certainly from the picture it does appear to have been left in full view of anyone passing. I have passed the details over to our DPD account manager to feedback to the local depot.
I am sorry we have not delivered our usual high standards on this occasion.
