Avoid BD Diesel at all costs
Avoid BD Diesel at all costs. Their customer service is abysmal, and their faulty parts have cost me thousands of dollars in damage and repairs.
I purchased a CP3 conversion pump from them in late 2025. My truck is exceptionally well maintained, stored in a heated garage, and has a spotless fuel history. After only minimal run time, the pump failed internally, which left metal debris and rust throughout my fuel system. Multiple diesel shops confirmed the pump had an internal failure.
What followed was months of ignored emails, unreturned phone calls, contradictory explanations, and zero accountability. I made more than 30 calls, and most were never returned. BD Diesel couldn’t even give me a straight answer on whether the pump was new or remanufactured, however the black spray paint on the housing made it obvious it wasn’t a new unit.
Because of their defective pump, I was forced to pay $6,773.92 for tank flushing, new fuel rails, lines, and other contamination related repairs. On top of that, BD Diesel made me pay another $1,100 for a replacement pump. And despite requiring me to ship the failed pump back at my own expense, they still have not refunded the cost of the original pump. I have been dealing primarily with Harmit Singh, who has been unable to resolve the issue and process my refund. I have repeatedly asked for a manager to call me, however, no one ever calls me back.
The replacement pump they sent in August appears to be working so far, but that does not erase the months of stonewalling, the thousands of dollars in damage or their refusal to take responsibility.
BD Diesel does not stand behind its products. Their negligence cost me nearly $8,000 and their customer service makes every step of the process worse. This company will take your money, sell you defective parts, ignore you when those parts fail and leave you paying the price for their mistakes. If you value your vehicle, your wallet or your sanity, stay far away from BD Diesel.
