Beachbound is Trash

Worst ever! I advise not to book through beachbound. The customer service agent is not knowledgeable & they're rude. They don't know what they are doing. They said one thing and did something totally different from what was discussed. I will never use them again

They delayed making a payment to…

They delayed making a payment to suncountry so we had no confirmation # with suncountry to book seats, so the good seats were taken

Overcharging and under delivering …

Bunch of false promises when I booked my vacation. We didn’t noticed until we took our trip that they overcharged us for the flight and the crappy hotel room. Donot use them. The hotel room was on the poor old side of the hotel, overcharged us to provide special seat which was not happening. She charged so much for the hotel and the flight. Everyone was shocked about how we paid for a crappy room and return flight. They lost a good customer. They compromised the delivery of service and charged more than others.

Refund not issued

I booked my vacation package with Beach Bound Vacations to Jamaica. My flight involuntarily got canceled three times and I decided to cancel my reservation. I received an email from the airline saying that I will be compensated my full refund. I spoke with several agents from Beach Bound stating that I will receive my full refund and every agent told a different lie on when I’ll be receiving my refund. It’s been 25 days now since I’ve been fighting with Beach Bound and there is no resolution. Frontier has already issued my refund to Beach Bound, I do not understand what it’s taking their accounting department so long to issue it back to me. This company is a scam! Beware of them.

I don’t even think a 1 star is low…

I don’t even think a 1 star is low enough! We booked a trip for 9 people and had to change destinations. While changing destinations one of our party’s name got changed wrongly. It has been a month long struggle our flight is tomorrow and it has not been corrected. One email stating it would be corrected 7 day before flight. Now I am on hold again with a nice lady who doesn’t have any power to do anything to help, you can’t get to anyone who can do anything. If they resolve everything and refunded our money I WOULD NOT EVERY use this sight again!

DON'T USE THEM!

Bought the travel insurance - can't use the travel credit without calling to book because their "IT department doesn't know when it will be fixed".

Called and spoke with an agent who made an appointment with me to book my trip - she never called. Spoke via email with someone else - the conversation could be summed up with a shrug emoji. This company does NOT care, and now I'm stuck booking a trip through them because they still have my money.

Do not book through this company

Do not book through this company! I have had a horrible experience with them. I haven't even gotten on the plane for my vacation yet, and it is already a nightmare, which has me fearful of what is to come.

Last month I booked my daughter's senior trip through BeachBound. I spent a good bit of time selecting flights and seats on flights, including upcharges for premium and economy plus seats that increased the total of the trip nearly $1k. Last week I checked the flights through United and there were no seats selections whatsoever. I called United and they referred me back to Beach Bound. I've called three times now, chatted once and emailed once. I never received a response to my chat request or email. The only response I get is the system does not show the seat selections. I selected seats and paid for them. I've been placed on hold for hours at a time. I've asked to speak to supervisors and been hung up on three times. I'm currenly on hold now and have been so for almost two hours. The agents are not knowledgeable and do not provide any meaningful assistance. They give you the run around for hours and there's never a supervisor to take the call. I have asked for corporate information so that I might can reach someone who can actual assist me, and they refused to disclose that information.

I have now had to reselect and repurchase seats, which costs me another $1k. It appears fraudulent to have a customer pay for seat selection, pocket the money, and then not forward the seat selections to the airline, forcing the customer to reselect and repay for seats that have already been paid for.

I thought the company was reputable based on the Today show endorsement on their website, but clearly it is not. This is the worst customer service I have dealt with in a very long time. The company has not acted in good faith. Do not book through them! You will regret. I do!

Worst customer service Ever!

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Do not book with this company!

We booked a family vacation for 9, you can only have 8 people on one booking, so had to complete two separate bookings. On one, we could only select basic economy for the flight.

We had to change our destination and BeachBound could not assist. We could cancel or change destinations and forfeit the entire money paid. A representative told us if we canceled then rebooked within 7 days, we would get the $100 penalty fee back for 4 people PLUS $200 airline penalty for 4. We followed these directions and rebooked the next day. When inquiring about the $1200 in penalty credit, we were then told we would not get anything as we did a change in destination. After explaining the directions given, I was told they would review the call and get back to me. That was6 days ago, no response!

Reviewed our new booking and found the agent entered my last name for my future son in law, called to correct the last name - Again, they can do nothing. Explained the agent verified the spelling of first and middle names, but as he could not pronounce my last name, just added it in.

This place is a total ripoff!

I cannot believe GMA or the TODAY Show would endorse such a terrible company.

This company is terrible, and so is the customer service! Based on my experience it does not even deserve one star. It started with a 2 hour hold time to try and figure out why my card wasn't going through. At first, they said it was my bank, I called the bank they said they were not denying my charge. The sales associate on the phone told me I should try another card, so I did, and it still didn't work. Finally, she told me she would have the back office run the card. It finally worked, I asked the back-office associate if I needed to call in for the second payment, she said no it will be automatically deducted from this card.

Fast forward 6 weeks, I get an email congratulating me for being less than two weeks out from my trip. It told me to login in and check my itinerary and add any excursions ahead of time. I login to my account to see a big CANCELED after my trip status. I called customer service, the rep was very rude told me that it was my responsibility to call and check on the status of my trip, and there was nothing he could do for me! The system automatically cancels the whole trip if it doesn't receive the second payment. I tried to explain that the previous sales agent assured me it wouldn't be a problem. His response was, "it's your responsibility so there is nothing I can do for you." He was extremely lazy, kept telling me this whole process would be easier and cheaper for me if I re-booked it over the internet, and If I went through him there would be a service fee!
I asked him when I would receive my refund. He then informed me that I would NOT be getting my money back, I would only receive travel credits. I asked him if I could use those travel credits for this trip still? He replied, "yes, but you have to wait two full business days, not counting today before they are valid."

He then informed me that the "system" is going to automatically deduct a 300$ cancelation fee from those credits for the airline. I asked why I would be responsible for a cancelation fee, when I wasn't the one who canceled it? His reply was even more infuriating, he told me they couldn't do anything because it was MY FAULT that it was cancelled. He then told me he didn't like my attitude, and If I kept it up, he is authorized to hang up on me!!!! WOW!!!

So now I am 6 days away from my group trip with no flight or hotel. I am sure now I will have to pay double for everything, will keep you posted on the result. I can't believe the Today show, or Good Morning America would endorse a company with such little integrity and poor customer service!!

If I could leave negative stars I…

If I could leave negative stars I would:
Beachbound Vacations absolutely ruined our vacation and refuses to reimburse us for their mistake. My wife and I booked a vacation thru them to Cozumel, Mexico for April 2nd -8th 2023. When we arrived at the airport on the 2nd we were told that our flight on United Airlines had been cancelled and we wouldn’t be able to be rebooked until the next day. After further discussion with the agent she told us that United had notified our 3rd party agent (Beachbound) at 9:07p.m the previous night. Beachbound never called or texted us!
After calling Beachbound upon getting back home they stated they had emailed us. This email never came through, even though all other email’s from them had. While on the phone with them we verified our email address and told them to resend the email while we waited on the line. Again, the email never came through! We also stated we wanted a refund for the lost night at the resort approximately $425.00 US. The agent stated he would contact the resort. Why in the world would the resort refund? They had the room ready and it was still ready when we got there! They didn’t drop the ball,! United Airlines and Beachbound did!!
Wouldn’t a last minute cancelled flight merit a phone call? At the very least a text? If you have to be at the airport at 5a.m who’s looking at their email at 9:07 p.m at night? Most people are in bed for the 3:30 am alarm to get to airport! Not that it would have mattered anyway because that email has yet to come thru after supposedly being sent twice now!!
Had they called we would have been able to leave early enough to make the 6hr drive to the connecting flight and still salvaged our vacation. Instead we lost the entire day of vacation and an already paid night at the resort.
At this point we figured Beachbound would at least reimburse us the paid night at resort, (Any reputable company would right?) and finished what was left of our vacation. I called them when we returned home, this time being transferred to the Post Travel Dept and they again stated they were going to contact the resort and try to get us refunded. I ask AGAIN why in the world would the resort refund? They’re the only innocent party in this whole fiasco! Wouldn’t a normal person contact United Airlines? They’re the ones that cancelled the flight due to “technical difficulties”!
Amazingly, this email managed to come through the next morning:
“ We appreciate the opportunity and time to address your concerns for your Hotel Issue . Our goal is to provide every client the best vacation experience. We’ve completed our investigation into your complaint, and this is to inform you that we have not received approval to offer compensation. The Hotel partner told us that they will not be able to waive the penalty as travel was in their high season. The Hotel will charge for complete 6 nights.
We sincerely apologize and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to serve you again in the future, so that we may have the opportunity to provide a much more positive travel experience.
Regards and Happy Future Travels,”
At NO POINT was this a hotel issue, the hotel did nothing wrong. What is wrong with you people Beachbound? This was a United Airlines & Beachbound Issue! This fight will continue, but take this as a warning! DON’T BOOK with BEACHBOUND unless you want your vacation ruined!!

Great trip with no problems!!! Awesome!!!

We had a great trip to Sint Maarteen a few weeks ago using Beach Bound! Everything went great with the travel details and the timing of the flights was perfect! We had one little issue with the AI hotel and it was corrected within a few hours to great satisfaction! I would definitely use Bech Bound again!!!!

What an amazing Experience!!! From the customer service (Joe) right down to the transportation to and from the resort!!! I highly recommend using Beachbound and we plan on using them again! The ease of it all made for a relaxing vacation one we will never forget we can't thank Beachbound for their service and friendly services we were given!

Terrible

Terrible. Customer service dept are all new agents and never a supervisor or anyone on staff that can help or answer questions. Eternal hold every single phone call. I’ve called 10 times now with over 15 hours of call time and I still can’t get help with my vacation that I paid for. Spend a couple extra hundred dollars and book directly with the hotel. This company takes your money and will not answer calls.

Booked a trip to cancun Dec 22 through 28 2022,I purchased travel insurance,my flights were delayed and causing me to miss a whole day of my vacation, beach bound refuses to pay my day missed not any fault of mine, the travel Insurance is worthless through them, I will never use beach bound or affiliated company's, ( cheap Caribbean) or apple destinations
