Ordered a small seal for $10 for my swimming pool receive. No tracking information requested information. They would not give me any tracking. Just kept saying post office has it. It's been 10 days for 2 to 5-day delivery still not received package called the store. The owner kept repeating that's impossible and would not help me avoid at all cost. Got my refund through PayPal. It's in dispute now

Avoid this place - used car lot sales tactics and rude. Check what is inside the box before you leave the store. I was trying tu support local businesses but WILL NEVER return to this seedy place. They are also rude - I would give it zero stars if I could.

They sold defective equipment as brand name when it was a cheap knock off and refused to take it back and were obnoxious rude in the process.

They sent me a part that doesn't work and refuse to take it back. They referred me to the manufacturer. I didn't buy it from the manufacturer, I bought it from the. I don't have time to jump through hoops. This is the last time I buy from these people. Unbelievable

Do not buy from Best Pool Shop. They failed to deliver my order, and the official public tracking number explicitly proves the package never arrived. Instead of issuing a normal refund like a legitimate merchant, they chose to act incredibly unprofessionally.They ran an unauthorized background search on my private email address to dig up my workplace and construction business in an attempt to intimidate me. When I left an honest review about my missing package, they immediately retaliated by "review bombing" my company’s business pages on Google and Yelp. Within minutes, they posted multiple fake 1-star reviews under fake names pretending to be disgruntled clients.This company does not just have terrible service; they are vindictive, violate consumer privacy, and use malicious spamming tactics to destroy the livelihoods of customers who call them out. They are currently being investigated by bank fraud departments and platform trust teams. Buy from literally anywhere else!

Have to concur with the majority of reviews here. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. My story comes out "o.k." compared to some, in that they did credit my charge. But not before I went substantially out of pocket. I paid $45 - ish dollars for a part I wasn't sure would fit an obsolete pool valve. When it indeed didn't fit, I followed their process for a RMA, noting that it didn't fit. Their response was "it was what was advertised so don't blame us" (I wasn't - just giving them a reason for the return). I though that was an rather unnecessarily "sharp" response, so I looked up their reviews. My bad for not doing so before my order.

In their literature, they state that the item must be returned in the exact, brand new, condition they shipped it in and in the original packaging, complete with all paperwork. When I got the RMA, I informed them that I receive the part unmark, unwrapped and unboxed, just dropped into a flat fee U.P. Postal Envelope. I wanted to be sure there would be no dispute about the condition it was recieved in. Their response was - once again - RUDE. They said "you recieved it in perfect condition so make sure it is returned in perfect condition." How do they know the condition it was in when I recieved it? And since it was not really packaged in any commercially typical manner, it could easily be damaged during shipping. I did send it back nearly the same way they sent it to me (put their postal envelope with the part inside it into a new postal envelope and sent U.S.P.S. flat rate - just like they did. That cost me $16 (I get that I bought the item knowing this was a possibility). They then charged me a 20% re-stocking fee which seems ridiculous (they expended more time and energy sending nasty messages than they probably did "re-stocking" the item. Ultimately the did credit me around $31. So - cost me $15 for nothing - exept the joy of being treated rudely :-) I understand it is a small business and costs are high. If they had been courteous from the "get" this review might have been very different. As things ended, I wouldn't recommend them.

Beware ⛔️ !!! This store has ridiculous return policy. And the owner is a bully. Read Google reviews and Yelp reviews . You will see that everyone that left a negative review he threatened with litigation from Best Pool shop Legal department.Including me. Funny 😆 thing is they don’t have a legal team. My attorney checked. So I asked the owner for the name of his attorney and the name of Firm? All I got was crickets 🦗!!! IMO he failed out of law school and tries to scare people with litigation to make this bully forget what an unhappy 😞 person he really is. He’s all bark no bite. Read the reviews and stay clear of this nightmare of a business.

Needed a new spark ignitor for my Avia 404A. They had the right part and shipped it from California to Ohio for $9.99 in 3 days. Part worked great. On Amazon fast shipping would be $70.00.

Incredibly rude customer service. Wouldn’t accept a return that had never been used. And I would have been ok because it was only $33 but then they were incredibly rude. Told me they didn’t “rent” items! I had opened the package but still had it. Again, just rude.

Do not use this company. You don't get what you are expecting. Ordered what was advertised as a new taylor K-2005 test kit. When i received kit in the mail half the agents and reagents expired in a month, the rest expired in 3 months. Companies response it meets expiration dates since its not expired yet. I explained every taylor test kit I have ever bought was good for at least 1-2 years, not 1-3 months. Buyers beware.

My Story:

I ordered a pool part from Best Pool Shop (bestpoolshop.com) expecting normal delivery. Instead, they held the order with zero cause or communication — no explanation, no updates, nothing. Customer service is deliberately designed to waste your time: you're stuck in an endless automated "category trap" loop with no real way to reach a human. After hours of attempts, I finally got through to an attendant who was rude, ignorant, and outright abusive. This isn't bad luck — it feels like a system built to take orders and then stonewall customers. Other buyers report the exact same pattern. Do not order from Best Pool Shop. Save your money, time, and frustration. Buyer beware — shop literally anywhere else.

This is a SCAM. Similar experience to what others have written. Sorry I didn't do more research before buying what was advertised as a Pentair OEM part. It's not. It's also defective. When I called to have it replaced, I got a letter back from their "Legal Department" and admonished not to contact my credit card issuer to pursue a refund. Glad it wasn't a very expensive purchase. Waiting to see if I will get the refund on my credit card.

I'M AN Eaton Fire victim I purchased 2 Blue Devil Backwash hoses, 1-50 ft, 1-75 ft, i wasn't sure how long i needed, 5 days later i try to return the 50 ft as it says on their receipt returns within 30 days. The person would not refund my money he wanted to setup an account for me, I don't have a pool I only needed to pump the collected water out of the basement hole on my property. Terrible establishment.

These guys are dishonest scammers, stay far far away.

NEVER use this company. They are RUDE and unethical. I bought a gas valve last week that came today and it seems OK. I tried to purchase some valve items today but it went unbelievably crazy.
I entered an order to ship to my other home, but since my billing address was different than my ship to address, they won’t do that. The workaround that their website offers says to use Amazon pay. It did not process and I tried calling. They have no customer service people and won’t speak by phone. I tried to text them , but they turned abusive, threatening, and have somehow blocking my business… this is a PRIME example of bad business. STAY AWAY. I should have read these reviews….

I placed an order with Best Pool Shop, and when the items arrived, they were damaged. The packaging was packed with just a poly bag with some paper stuffing (no boxes) — so it’s no surprise the products broke during transit.

When I reached out politely to request a refund or replacement, instead of helping, the seller got really defensive and sent me some pretty harsh messages accusing me of fraud, threatening me with legal action.

I provided clear photos of the damaged items and explained the situation, but they refused to listen. The whole experience was stressful and unprofessional.

Our conversation unfortunately ended with them sending me a legal notice, claiming my allegation was false and an attempt at fraud. (What kind of fraud is this?? Why would I place an order and damage the items on purpose just to ask for my money back??)

As a customer, I expect at least respectful communication and some accountability for inadequate packaging. Instead, I was met with threats and baseless accusations. I cannot recommend this company at all.

I blame myself for not doing a little research on this outfit. Ordered a part for my pool autofill. These jokers literally picked up a 9$ toilet valve, removed it from the box, discarded the small hose and clip, wrapped it in a USPS plastic bag(s) and charged me $29.
Come on. Bad on me for using this company.

Tried to place an order for 26 pool lights worth more than 15k. The most unpleasant person was assisting me when I called the store location in Pasadena CA. Horrible experience. Buyer’s be aware. I guess they deal with homeowners looking to buy few units and not contractors. Definitely not recommended!

Scam. Run away from this company. I ordered a part and I return it and I wrote the address on the box and they only gave me was half of my money back stating that I damage the product by writing on the box 📦 . They are scamming customers out of their money. I guess if your broke you don't care who you mess over

Total scam. I put an item in shopping cart and selected "amazon pay" as payment method, but very intentionally di NOT complete the order and left it sitting on the computer screen as I went to give one more try to get my existing pool vac working before ordering new one. Came back 5 min later to have an email form them "confirming" an order that wasn't done. They don' answer the phone, just tell you to email and text them. I did. Got an overtly offensive response basically calling me liar. I'll pay more to buy elsewhere now. Yet to see refund.
