I had an amazing experience Beyond Academy staff located in Seoul. The staff were always so friendly, supportive, and welcoming. Everything was always organized, and if anything was unclear, they would clarify as soon as possible. The events were always so much fun, and the staff always worked with you and were super flexible about your schedule. They are lastly very understanding if you're exhausted and can't make the event. Overall, my experience with them was perfect and made my time in Seoul truly unforgettable.

Beyond Academy’s tailored internship program was spot on—well organized and smooth from the start. The instructions upon arrival were clear and super helpful, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience without stress. The community they’ve built is fun, welcoming, and supportive—always there if you need anything. As for my company, I couldn’t have asked for better; it was truly a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended!

The beyond academy staff and locals were absolutely amazing! They always responded to messages quickly and helped you with any issues we had regardless of whether or not it was to do with the programme. The events that were planned were really fun and a nice mix of touristy and non-touristy events.

I just got back from my 8 week program with Beyond academy Tokyo and I wish I opted for a longer program. The Tokyo community was very supportive and easy going. The events planned were always so much fun, they were quick with securing an interview for me aswell! I would definitely do this again if I could !

Seoul is a perfect city to live in for a while because it gives you the opportunity to experience something completely different and full of new experiences.
When I started my experience in Seoul with Beyond, from the very first moment, the group of coordinators has been the best helping me in every possible way to make our experience as good as possible by organising many interesting and fun activities.

Regarding the internship itself, I have to say that you have to be a bit specific when choosing what you want to work in and make sure that the company is the right one and that you think you will learn. In my case, I had to change companies because I wasn't working in exactly what I wanted, but when I moved to the second company, my work experience improved considerably.

Beyond Academy is probably the best experience of my life. Being able to travel and experience another country while learning essential things within my work force. Besides the internship I did, the community within beyond academy is what I think made this whole experience so smooth and enjoyable. The community leads made sure I was taken care of and having fun at all times. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is ready for an adventure! Best time ever!!!

My internship experience was very fun and the community coordinators were very helpful with any questions I had during the internship. The events that they held were very fun and I wish that there were more trips planned!

Really fun experience! I think if you are going for a cultural and social experience it's well worth the friendships I made and the places I got to see! The coordinators were very helpful and friendly, they did their best to help out in any way they could and made me feel very welcomed in the program. I will have to be honest, for future participants, you really need to be very specific in what you want from this program (including industry, type of company, internship experience, etc.)! I really ended up enjoying my experience at my company, however it was definitely not what I was picturing at first when I got the offer. Being adaptable will definitely help out a lot for this program, but make sure it's something you're willing to do! All in all, it's an experience I will remember and I made a lot of good connections from it!

I joined the Seoul Internship and was really impressed by how well organised and supportive the Seoul Community Support team were. They were easy to contact and created fun and interesting events for us to attend during the internship and helped us with understanding different cultural cues and nuances. They are a separate team from the internship placement team and are living and working in Seoul.
I loved Seoul, it was a great city to experience as someone who 'worked there' rather than a tourist.
In terms of the internship placement team, I would recommend applicants are extremely clear about the placement experience they want to ensure you are placed on an internship you would actually find enjoyable. Otherwise you may be placed on something you may not have expected that isn't really what you want to do! This is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5/5 stars!

Taking a risk to live in a foreign country by yourself can have many challenges, one of them being making connections. Beyond Academy gave me an opportunity to meet friends with whom I developed extremely meaningful relationships, and that was a helpful foundation to remain in a comfortable headspace to take advantage of all the guidance BA offered me while I was in Tokyo.

My 4-months stay in Tokyo was a wonderful experience. Beyond Academy managed to find me opportunities in the Fintech sector, even though I was only on my 2nd year of my bachelor. Everything is well done to make us comfortable. A lot and diverse activities are offered. The Tokyo Community Team was also very kind and very friendly, and were always here for your help! It is one of my best experience. I recommend it a lot.

My time with Beyond Academy in Tokyo was the greatest life experience I have ever had! From the people I met, to the sights I saw, everyone at BA were the greatest team to make my internship seamless and fruitful. The coordinators were always on hand to help me with anything I needed, and I also consider them as new found friends. I am so grateful for my 6 weeks in Tokyo, as I gained immeasurable professional development as well as incredible life experience.

The support I received at my internship location from the Beyond Academy mentors was amazing.
My accommodation with other interns and students allowed me to widen my social life and experience more things.

Joining Beyond Academy for my experience in Sydney was the best decision ever. The program provided an incredible way to explore the city and discover hidden gems I wouldn’t have found on my own. From the start, I felt supported and welcomed. Connecting with other interns was effortless, and the sense of community made the entire journey even more special. I definitely made friends for life! Beyond Academy ensured I always had a reliable point of contact, making me feel safe and cared for throughout the experience. I couldn’t be happier with my decision—absolutely 5 stars!

I’d wanted to travel to South Korea for a very long time but was always too nervous to go by myself. As a recent graduate that is looking to begin my career in my chosen industry but also take some time for myself to travel, Beyond Academy provided the perfect opportunity for me to not only find work experience in another country and experience work culture there, but visit my dream destination and be surrounded by kind and helpful people. I really recommend this program to solo travellers or people wanting experience working in other countries but aren’t a quite sure how to do it! Beyond Academy also plans lots of events and group activities so that even though you’re working, you still feel like you have seen all the sights and done lots of fun things during your internship! It is also a great way to make friends and find a warm community of people to make your stay much more enjoyable!

My time at beyond academy has been one of the best I've had so far!
I was in Seoul for a little over two months and it was great!
The people from beyond were so nice and it felt like they were there for us 24/7.
We also did things together besides the events and in my case I was able to make some great new friends!
My internship was a huge success and I was able to make a huge leap forward in my career.
I did an internship as a fashion designer and made some lovely new contacts that will be really helpful in the future.
In addition to the internship, it was also possible for me to visit my old internship place in Paris at a trade fair!
I can only recommend Beyond academy to anyone who is open to something new and wants to pursue a career abroad, because it really is a huge springboard!

The people that I’ve meet and the experience that I’ve made will for ever be in my heart!

Alumni Reunion

Recently met up again with Beyond Academy after doing my 3 month internship in Barcelona at the start of year. Met some amazing people, who had such varied interests and from different places! Learnt a lot of new things from everyone! Enjoyed interacting with everyone and networking, the pizzas and drinks were so good too! Great venue and would definitely attend again!
