Ordered the lollipop tower playhouse for my daughter's birthday. It arrived 6 weeks later and as I was unpacking the pallet I could tell the quality was questionable. Unfortunately, due to the time it had taken to arrive and my daughter looking forward to a wendyhouse for her birthday, I didn't have time to return it and source another. As I started to build it the poor quality of the materials and workmanship became even more apparent. Nails sticking out, boards snapped, wooden components covered in black mould, huge splits down strictutal pieces. It really is woeful. I did email them to let them know and just got the copy and paste reply I'm sure everyone else got. Wouldn't dream of ordering anything else from them. Have ordered from Wickey before and whilst they're more expensive the quality is far superior.

Ordering
I like to think I’m a typical buyer I put the size and material I wanted and searched the results and found one we liked and went about ordering it direct. From BillOh a Duramax 15 X9 shed.I ordered on Friday and it actually arrived 2 days later but I wasn’t in and didn’t receive an email. After looking at the tracking it was sent back out 2 days later . They had a tracking system on the order and showed me where the driver was.The delivery was by made by 1 person so kudos to him as it came in 2 very heavy boxes , all good on the delivery front.
The preparation
Before we began we decided that we needed a concrete base ,I had a partial one so it needed to be extended so we set about that first and that took 3 days including curing time.

The build

I didn’t actually build it myself my son in law and a friend who is a builder did.take your time to prep everything first as this make it easier. This was definitely a two man job and sometimes three as I helped hold the walls while the braces were put in place to keep some stability. They finished the first day with the walls and 2 roof panes on .The second day everything was finished off so all in all 5 days from base to build, the instructions looked pretty clear and tells you what parts and screws you need and where to put them.

The tools and things you need

You’re going to need all the usual things like drill cordless drill/ screwdriver hammer silicone ladder and so forth. All the hardware is supplied so no running to the shop for extras.

Was it all there

So a big trepidation of buying something like this is ,does it look like the picture, will it be delivered on time and will it be Broken or missing half the things. I must admit some of the reviews on BillIyIh are not the best and I was a little worried I had made an expensive mistake , but as I write this review every thing was included nothing was Broken and it went together very well.

Do I like it and was there anything else I needed.

Your going to have to factor in a floor of some type ,as once it’s fixed to the base your going to be left with a metal grid. This doesn’t come with flooring or a base so be aware you are going to need something of kinds.I had some 12mm sheeting left from my loft flooring so this was perfect to put down,we are also going to seal the base with clear silicone to stop any potential water ingress but this isn’t needed as a rule i wouldn't think, although It does recommend a slight slope to get rid of any water on the base. Now it’s up it actually looks like a small house, the walls are quite flexible not as rigid as wood but the reason for plastic is durability and you don’t have to paint it . I’m actually impressed from start to finish of the whole process and it looks wonderful. I can only tell you about my experience and with the Duromax 15x 9 shed and it was a very smooth and good one.

Terrible quality. Turned up with rotten wood, flooring isn’t fit for purpose.
Customer service is slow and poor.

Having read reviews after purchasing the playhouse, I didn’t know what to expect but overall an ok experience. Delivery was unexpected as all I had had was a dispatch email and very basic tracking. One would expect to be given a date for such a large, expensive item. I was at work but luckily the delivery driver could wait for ten minutes whilst somebody got there to meet him- I otherwise would have missed delivery and been charged (make sure you read the terms and conditions!!!). A couple of minor pieces were missing and one broken but were easy enough to pick up from my local Wickes instead of waiting for them to be sent out. The playhouse went together pretty well with a few adjustments here and there- all was as expected for a budget wooden building. I have purchased thicker felt for the roof as the felt sent was very flimsy and many reviews had issues with leaking. The floor is very flimsy and needs a solid base- level slabs or concrete. I used a plastic grid base and have thus needed to strengthen the floor. Overall I have probably spent and extra £100 on glazing sealant, felt and wood but still feel I got value for money (I purchased the playhouse on sale, would not recommend paying full price).

The shed arrived flat pack with a packing list (no detailed parts list). An email arrived with the construction instructions. These instructions referred to a technical document - I downloaded the technical document from the BillyHo website and followed it to the letter. Very difficult to work out what parts were what with no parts list and no labels. Eventually we worked our way through building the shed until we got to roof height and that's where the problems started, wood not cut correctly, overhang not as stated in the technical details and not enough felt as per the instructions. We contacted customer services to be told that we had the wrong technical instructions (explained the measurement issues) and that additional felt would be sent to us immediately, We received and email and confirmed delivery date, and waited, and waited and still waiting all the time the roof is part felted and subject to the weather - we even offered to go and collect to the felt to be told not possible, lots of apologies, no resolution........ and the courier Evri is not doing them any favours.

Do Not touch this company!!! You pay your money then all of a sudden they are not interested. Not only was the delivery 3 weeks late their after sales service is a joke with people in call centres that clearly do not understand your issues, we had one panel delivered that have already been stained obviously by a previous customer that had returned it. They are not bothered about problems that you have as they have no interest in aftercare. Do not buy from them they do not care about you..

Had to wait a very long time for delivery, gave specific date's for product to be dispatched, and was still let down,look's like i had to wait for a number of load's to be delivered to same area to make it worth they're trip to deliver mine, was phobbed off on numerous time's until i recieved my order.

Very easy process in purchasing my log cabin

Very quick delivery, came a day earlier than scheduled, good job I was in to help delivery driver lift carton of the lorry! Called customer services a couple days after delivery to express my concerns for how thin window panels are, told this was a bought in product and not manufactured by them. Just told me that greenhouse would be covered by guarantee if I had a problem. Have to say you need to put aside a few hours to setup greenhouse and definitely need two pairs of hands. Instructions not very clear and confusing, need to makes sure you have a level base from the start.
Overall Rosette Green Metal Greenhouse ok for the money, just window panels very thin and not sure how long these will last! Oh, still trying to work out how door runner/bracket fits!

Only seem interested in the delivery part of the order – It arrived a week early despite many emails stating we would not be there to receive until a certain date which had been agreed with yourselves. Had a call re the delivery only within 2 days – not really interested in lack of bits of kit found!
The numbers on the packing lists and stickers on some items did not correspond making it hard to check all was there before build.
Build Instructions not clear in places you could really use some clarification and better drawings. When you start building it, all info should be there! We have built similar before, but we found it hard to understand what section went where. 4 – 6 hours is laughable!
When constructing the main playhouse, the wood sometimes split easily when using the screws supplied. Some sections poorly put together with nails sticking out into the house and missing the edges. Not safe!! We had to source more screws as not enough in kit. We felt that ringing re missing parts of kit not important as needed to build the playhouse at that time not a week down the road.
Sections were all different colours and didn’t line up with its neighbour or match the rest of the house.
Roof slats – 6 of the 40 - were not the same length as the rest by ½ to ¾”, only found this out when nearly completed the roof making it difficult along the front edge. Also failing to supply correct number of roof tacks – had to buy more locally. Instructions mention 2 brackets – only 1 supplied so had to manufacture our own.
Only 3 door hinges and 1 handle for the 2 doors supplied – had to buy more locally
Only 1 magnetic clasp supplied for 2 doors – had to buy another locally.
All in all, disappointed with the quality of some parts and lack of essential parts.

Delivery drivers were excellent but the very large shipemnt was delivered by by two transit type vehicle and had to be handballed off. Consequently everything was not on nice protected pallets which could have been easily lifted by a hiab. As I said drivers were excellent and must have been lifting well over safe limits.
All the delivery has had to be re-stacked and covered. Again not drivers fault but more attention in simple palletisation etc and a hiab would have solved the problems

Very happy with the reliability and service.
Good quality product. Highly recommend this company to anyone.
Hopefully will be using again in the future.

Overall very pleased with the service provided just 1 little thing as nothing showed on tracking we werent aware that item was due to be delivered so nobody was available to take delivery maybe a quick text or call when close to address as package was left on pavement x

The shed I bought in November 2025 arrived in February 2026 damaged. I requested a refund within 2 days of delivery and was informed a collection date would be confirmed in 2 weeks. Then they would proceed with the refund. It took 2 months of battling the company and a letter of court proceedings to actually obtain the refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY NOR ANY COMPANY AFFILIATED WITH KYBOTECH.

Easy to order , when I rang customer service for a question , it was fast and spoke to a real person , very satisfied so far

The glass is actually just 1mm Perspex. They blow out in hide winds. The rest of the shed is fine . Albeit the shed door is only 5 foot 8.

Wish I had read these reviews before I spent £1500 with BillyOh!

Placed my order and received a parts list which was delivered in full. When I began building, it became clear I was missing some parts. BillyOh admitted I received the wrong parts list, sent me the correct one and said I had to wait 5 days for replacements. When I explained I had a builder present, they offered to refund me if I go and buy them from B&Q, which I did, but they are now refusing to refund me. I have since found multiple other missing components, the windows are too small for the holes, i do not have the parts to finish the doors and there are many severely damaged parts but BillyOh have now stopped responding to my emails. Don’t be fooled by the decent prices - the sheds are poor quality and the after sales is even poorer.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE THAT WE DID AND NOT READ THE REVIEWS FIRST. From atrocious manufacturing, quite literally rotten quality of wood, incorrect instructions, missing parts, terrible customer service. If you do, it will be a waste of your money, time and sanity!!

Unfortunately trustpilot reviews doesn't allow negative stars for reviews. Please DO NOT make our mistake and purchase a shed from BillyOh, without reading the reviews first. You will save yourself money, time and your sanity. From the moment we unpacked the shed to build it, we could see major issues with the quality of the product, this included the materials and the workmanship. We had rotten wood, bowed panels, we had to cut the panels as they were different sizes and not possible to construct until we had. Parts were missing from the order. We had to cut doors down to fit, cut the windows down to fit, chisel down door thresholds to allow the doors to fit flush, plane down panels so we could fit them together. Some of the instructions were incorrect as admitted by the BillyOh customer service team, we only discovered this after we had started construction and had to take it apart again. There are visible gaps within all of the fabricated panels (between the planks). It took 3 people to try and straighten out the bowed panels whilst trying to fix them together, and even then we were left with gaps of half inch where the panels abut. One of the roof supports when placing was found to be rotten, we had to source and insert an extra timber ourselves, to ensure the roof was supported. The felt supplied was of poor quality and looked old when we opened it, and have since found that it leaks. The shed panels arrived mouldy and this has been an ongoing issue ever since. What should have been a 2 man 5 hour build, turned into 2 days of 2/3 people, with further materials and tools needed to rectify the problems. From the moment we started to build the shed in November, we were in contact with the BillyOh customer service department, both on the phone and emails about the problems we were encountering. It is now April and despite repeated emails we are still left with a shed that is absolutely not fit for purpose and never will be. Whatever we throw at the shed in remedial work, it is impossible to rectify the problems of terribe manufacturing and quality. in short, DO NOT BUY A SHED FROM BILLYOH!!!!!
