Ghosted us after taking our money

Bought thousands worth of wearables from Biostrap, then they just went no contact for months, leaving us with unusable wearables. They are now called Sensr and are trying to reach out to former Biostrap customers. Making sure that this shows up in the Sensr and Biostrap search results so people do not fall for the same thing.

No Warning Before Cutoff???

Biostrap abruptly sent an email stating it would no longer support it's EVO version, starting immediately.

Not only did they not provide any advance warning, they didn't even offer any discount on the purchase of their newer version.

Lack of a discount aside, why would any company abruptly cut a service without warning?

Poor planning and service. I'll never support Biostrap again.

Its complete crap

Its complete crap. I've bought it and couple months later it just stopped working, no bluetooth connection. Useless. After two years, when cleaning apartment i saw it and i thought that maybe now it will somehow magically start to work, but nope. Still as shitty as ever.

I would give zero stars if I could for…

I would give zero stars if I could for customer service. I have sent multiple emails to the customer service over several weeks and have gotten no response other than the automated one saying they received the request and will get right back to me. Of course there is no phone number to call to speak to an actual person either. Unable to find correct arm band charger on their website and ordered the incorrect one since I was unable to get help. I am unable to connect with anyone to return and get my money back. And also, I am left with an inoperable arm band.

Woeful experience, terrible support

Woeful experience, device had trouble connecting from the get go, would take dozens of attempts to successfully pair in the app. Then each night it would lose the connection, and when I finally managed to reconnect the next day it would have no data from that night. Tried on two different iPhones, same problem. Support was abysmal, it would take multiple days and often multiple messages to get a reply, and when they agreed that the device was faulty and offered a replacement they also informed me that the 30 day window where a refund was available would not be extended from when I received the new device. This basically forced my hand to get a refund instead of trying a replacement. For a company that markets their products as top of the line, and charges prices that reflect that I'd expect a lot more, 0/5 stars.

Don't trust the blood oxygen data

I purchased a Biostrap in early 2021 to measure sleep issues, including blood oxygen. The Biostrap showed I had dangerously low levels of blood oxygen. Yet I then went through a professional overnight at-home study followed by a full-blown overnight at-clinic sleep study, and all of the professional equipment showed that my blood oxygen levels were fine. I tried to contact some of the authors of the articles Biostrap cites as support for their device, but none responded. Despite marketing claims that implied that lots of professionals were turning to Biostrap, the company could not (or would not) name a single sleep doctor who was familiar with the device who I could contact. I have no trust in this device or the people who are selling it. This happened in/around April of 2021.

It's complicated

I love my biostrap! I have only used it in combination with biostrap's heart rate monitor and shoe pod while I exercise, and I wear the wrist monitor most of the day and while I sleep. My complaint is with the customer service. I physically cringe when I see my prescribed customer service rep's name. I have asked to speak with a different person but they refuse... even though I can tell they either dislike me, or dislike their job very much. But as far as I am aware, biostrap may be the only biometric tracking company that doesn't sell your personal information.

Planned obsolescence....thing didn't even last 2 years

I bought a Biostrap around Oct 2020. I like the app and the design of it however mine broke. It just one day quit working. Now the company denies they build them to break within 2 years. The thing was expensive. Not to mention if you want more data you have to pay for it. I'm super disappointed that I spent that much money on that tracker. Stick with Apple or Garmin. This is not worth the money and then the subscriptions.

Customer support disappointing compared to what it was

Similar to Arjay albeit my device is older won’t hold charge long enough to track sleep overnight ,goes from 100% to out of power in 6 hours , I get it’s not brand new but the lack of any real interest from support beyond yes sorry nothing we can do no offers of anything not even how about a new device and some sort of discounted upgrade As well as the fact they cannot even sell to the UK their only suggestion was to ship it to someone in the US and get them to ship to you otherwise can’t help...think whoop has just found a new customer.

Useless after 12 months

My Biostrap is useless after 12 months. Battery lasts about 7 hours; Biostrap battery cant last a full night to work as a sleep tracker; daytime activity tracking also not possible because of battery issues. Biostrap Company support and desire to correct issue is nonexistent. Biostrap is a small company that may have difficulty surviving with a poor product and poor customer service. Disappointed in my Biostrap for sure.
