Disappointed after two years as a customer
I have been working with BKY Solutions for almost 2 years, but honestly, I wish I had chosen a different company.
Their prices are not particularly cheap. The main reason I chose them was because we spoke the same language and they seemed friendly and approachable.
Last year, they handled everything related to my US company. This year, around March, I contacted them again and told them that I wanted to take care of everything just like the previous year. They agreed, explained which filings needed to be submitted, even recommended an additional filing, gave me a price, and completed the work within about a week.
They completed everything within about a week, so I honestly thought everything for my company had been taken care of.
However, at the end of May, I discovered that my Florida Annual Report had not been filed. When I contacted them, they basically told me that this was a separate filing and was not included. It never crossed my mind that I would need to separately ask whether an Annual Report should also be filed.
Considering that I had already been working with them for two years, I expected them to at least inform me that the Annual Report was due and ask whether I wanted them to file it or handle it myself. Unfortunately, nobody mentioned it.
I also own two companies in the UK, and the professionals I work with there constantly send reminders and compliance updates. With BKY Solutions, I received no warning, reminder, or notification at all.
As a result, when I logged into the Florida system myself, I found out that I had been charged a $400 late penalty. The frustrating part is that the Annual Report itself takes only a few minutes to file, yet because I was never informed, I ended up paying a significant penalty.
Maybe other customers will have a different experience, but based on my own experience, I no longer feel comfortable trusting them with my company's compliance obligations and will not be working with them again.

First of all, we would like to kindly clarify that the Florida Annual Report filing is a separate compliance obligation from the tax return service you purchased from us. This filing is typically monitored by the company that formed the business or by the registered agent, and any related reminders are generally sent by those parties. Therefore, we would like to note that this obligation falls outside the scope of the services we provide.
First and foremost, we would like to thank you for working with us for the past two years. However, we believe it is important to clarify certain points accurately.
Your company was not formed by our firm, and the only service you purchased from us was tax return preparation. The service you received in 2025 was a tax return filing service. In 2026, you contacted us again and requested the same services you had received the previous year. Following your request, we explained your applicable tax obligations, completed the necessary filings within a short period of time, and delivered all relevant documents to you.
In your review, you stated that all matters related to your company were handled by us last year and that the Annual Report filing was also our responsibility. However, our records do not support this statement.
In particular, we would like to point out that, according to the records we reviewed, your Florida Annual Report was filed in February 2025. However, the first message we received from you was in April 2025. Therefore, it would not have been possible for us to have filed that Annual Report on your behalf. This information, along with the relevant records, was previously shared with you via WhatsApp.
Furthermore, we did not file your Annual Report in either 2025 or 2026. The reason is that the Annual Report is a completely separate filing requirement from a tax return. In most cases, this obligation is monitored by the company formation provider or the registered agent, and any required reminders are sent directly by them.
Had your company been formed through our firm, we would have sent you regular reminders regarding Annual Reports and other annual compliance requirements, just as we do for our other formation clients.
To help avoid similar situations in the future, we would also like to provide a brief overview of the primary annual compliance obligations that a U.S. company typically needs to monitor:
1. Tax Return Filing
2. Registered Agent Renewal
3. Annual Report Filing (deadlines and filing requirements vary by state)
Each of these obligations is independent and should be monitored separately each year.
The services you purchased from us in both 2025 and 2026 were limited solely to tax return preparation and filing. These services were completed in full and delivered on time. Annual Report filings and Registered Agent renewals were not included within the scope of our services. Notifications regarding these matters are generally provided by the company formation provider or the registered agent responsible for the company.
Nevertheless, we are sorry to hear about the issue you experienced. At BKY Solutions, we always value constructive and solution-oriented communication with our clients. If you believe there is still an unresolved matter regarding this situation, we would be pleased to discuss it with you directly. We can review the records together once again and do our best to assist you in any way possible.
