Good freight company

Our company has been working with Blackhaul for a few months now. During this time, we have been very happy with their service. We use Blackhaul for freight, and deliveries usually arrive on time. I would like to mention Breon, the freight manager, who is very helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend Blackhaul for freight services.

Simply use your intuition on this one, before using this company read the reviews and wonder why there are only 1 star and 5 star reviews. I suspect the 5 star reviews are fake and the 1 star reviews are from geniune customers. I could go into detail about what a nightmare this company has been to deal with but I'll save you some time and lots of money. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!! there favourite trick seems to be doubling the price after delivery of the item and threatening with debt collectors if not paid.

Ben would have to be one of the most…

Ben would have to be one of the most dishonest people to ever do business with. Put an ad that had specific instructions which he quoted and job was accept even though he knew he could not fulfil the timeline. Job was cancelled on my end due to not being able to complete and they still went and picked up item and claimed that as per their terms they can't guarantee delivery times even though prior to him putting a quote a specific date was advised. He quotes job he clearly can fulfil. Would not recommend using Blackhaul Australia. They done even have insurance in the event items are damaged in transit.

No delivery and no contact

Contracted to ship an item to a residential address in Brisbane and then... crickets for over 2 months - no delivery and no contact. They have refused to respond to voice mails so I have had no choice but to issue a credit card charge-back for the original item and let the seller deal with them.

Would strongly advise people to stay away from Blackhaul.

24/11/23 - Update to respond to BlackHaul's comment : Check your system for an undelivered package to Chris L in Upper Kedron that you picked up on 14 September. The shipping was organised and paid through a third party.

Regardless of who paid, you never delivered the parcel (your online system shows that you picked it up!) and never returned my multiple voicemails in October.

Zero Stars!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would!!!.....We arranged for a shipment from Tamworth to Perth. We gave accurate measurements for the 3 cartons only to be told we owed them an extra $65.00 as our measurements were incorrect. We paid begrudgingly as we knew they were correct and said we would be measuring them when they arrived, which we did and they were correct - if anything they were under the measurements. We contacted them for a refund but got "crickets"!....Then bugger me if they get a debt collection agency on to us chasing money we already paid!!!......AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!

Whilst I cannot comment in detail on this specific situation, you've made a prepaid booking and your freight has been remeasured. We've billed the difference as per our standard procedure, and this has not yet been paid.

Terrible experience with Blackhaul…

Terrible experience with Blackhaul Australia. Paid in advance for them to ship a package. After they pick up the package they call and say they need to double the price. I agree and ask them to send me an invoice. They deliver the package, never send me an invoice and then send a debt doable again the price to a debt collector who start harassing me for the full inflated payment. Not one phone call or follow up email came from Blackhaul. Called them every day for two weeks and was unable to get a call back. Shocking experience, appalling communication and absolute dodgy rip offs. Never use them.

Update:
Your response is untruthful, I called on several occasions, spoke with A..e asking B..n to call me and never received a call back. I agreed to the price increase but had no choice and then never received an invoice. Received no call or email from Blackhaul requesting payment.

Finally, check your accounts department (debt collector).Two days prior to this review, I paid the amount in full including all the penalties which were nearly double the original cost that you should have invoiced me. Another example of poor admin on your part. I state again. A very disappointing experience. Maybe a simple phone call before sending debt collectors would be a more profession way to operate a business.

Edit:
Since you clearly do not believe your customer and can't be bothered to follow up with your own accounts department or debt collectors whom you must speak with regularly, I have gone to the trouble of emailing you a copy of the remittance. Every time you edit, you provide a further example of Blackhaul's appalling customer service and administration. My advice would be to apologise gracefully, review your internal admin policies and customer service, and move on. No charge for the advice.

Hi Simon, we would like to get the facts straight on this one as your review is incredibly biased.

You have made a booking with us and your booking required packaging and documents at the pickup site which are both additional services. If these are required you will need to tell us before we provide you a quote. You have agreed to a cost increase which we have invoiced to you after completing the job.

After the job was complete, we did not receive any payment for the invoice. We were unable to contact you despite many attempts, and therefore after some time your account had been submitted to a collections agency for further action.

Since then, you have contacted us and we have been advising you to contact the collections agency as they are now handling your account. You have not asked for any return phone calls and you have not sent us any emails as you state in your review.

I also note that your invoice has still not been paid to date. It is always disappointing when people wish to use our services without paying for them, however flooding all of our pages with reviews is an unprofessional and counterintuitive practice. We are always available to assist you via phone or email, however you have chose not to contact us or return any of our contact attempts whilst the invoice was still outstanding.

With this in mind, we invite you to reconsider your review, or at the very minimum to pay your invoice for the services we have provided you as agreed.

In reply to your amended review, we request that you submit a payment receipt to us. I can confirm an invoice was sent to you on August 21st, and a reminder email following that. We have not received any emails from you regarding this shipment since the pickup release form was provided by your assistant on the 28th of July.

Blackhaul was fine to ship my engine on…

Blackhaul was fine to ship my engine on a pallet. Once picked up I was told it needed to be crated and then forced to pay for a crate to be built in order to send. I will not recommend this outfit.

same day air freight works well.
picked up early morning from melbourne cbd and delivered late afternoon in perth for a good price. probably cheaper than tnt or startrack. would recommend
