I ordered my server, Performance+ 12gb Dedicated, and had slight trouble getting it started just because I was unfamiliar with the setup process. This proved a non-issue immediately when I received support instantly after asking through their Discord and creating a ticket. After support was received the server has been fantastic, and I was able to learn the basics on getting the server setup myself from the support staff. Overall the best hosting site and support team would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, quality server!

You know what really pisses me off? If you google search best minecraft hosts you still see the top 5 results, recently posted mind you, showing a list of other hosts that are complete garbage. I tried really hard to look into each one of them and compare them to bloom and imagine having my network on them and I could not. They either simply didn't offer the cpu and ram and storage I needed or wanted 200+ dollars a month. It pisses me off that people that make these stupid lists are unaware of actual good hosts such as bloom. I asked last year and I will ask again, find a better host. You can't. I spent a lot of time looking and I could not. There isn't, this is it right now. Bloom is #1 I don't care what anybody says, try me.
If you don't use bloom host for your server you should rethink some things. Unless of course you have your own system with a r9-5950x cpu that you've dedicated and spend less than $70 a month for it. I don't even know how Bloom makes profit, what they offer is so much that the competition just can't do it.

The best host in terms of performance, period.
Bloom's servers have handled even the worst of modpacks I've been able to throw at my server.
It definitely shows the power of the 3900 that they're using in the servers.
I haven't been able to try their "Plus" servers since they're a bit too expensive for me, and I really haven't found something to justify needing a 5950X for a Minecraft server.
Ryzen 9 3900s are already fast enough for a Minecraft server, so unless one is running an oddly specific CPU-Heavy modpack or a paper server with tons of plugins and players, I see no reason to get the "Performance Plus" plan, but at least it's good that the option exists, just in case someone needs that extra CPU power.
I haven't had that many issues with the server, but the issues I've had were solved relatively quickly by Bloom's excellent support, they even solved a billing issue I had (My fault to be honest) relatively quickly.
It's been great to use Bloom for the Minecraft servers I've had with some friends.
I do have one issue. As of writing this review (28/10/2021) their price for an 8GB server is 16$ a month, but this is going to change to 18$ a month starting November 1st (for new customers).
This gets on the more expensive side of Minecraft hosting, this makes bloom not be the "amazing deal" than they used to be before, but they're improving their service and they're transitioning to owned hardware (EU) next year.
18$/month puts bloom still ahead of most competitors in terms of price and performance but the huge advantage they had is kind of lost.
Looking at their new prices for their other plans puts their ">12GB Performance Plus" plans dangerously close to "Buy a dedicated server" territory, but I completely understand that there are people who do not want to manage their own dedicated machine, so in that case, Bloom might not be such a bad deal.
In my opening anything above the 8GB performance plan and we start getting into diminishing returns.
In conclusion, Bloom is absolutely the best performant Minecraft host I've ever tried as of writing this review (28/10/2021), they have close to dedicated performance and their panel is easy to use and has a lot of features that most hosts do not have, such as their "server split" feature. If someone is looking to host a relatively big Minecraft server with tons of plugins/mods, bloom is the best option that I comfortably recommend.

I gave bloom a chance instantly after hearing about it. The one thing I can say confidently is that their support is 5/5 stars. It's quick, thorough, and the team are nice people. The panels/site's colors are amazing, everything is laid out nicely, easy to navigate, and again, looks absolutely beautiful.

I have switched over to using Bloom to host my Minecraft server almost a year ago now and I do not regret my decision. It's by far the most cost-effective option on the market! They're always developing their UI and upholding their excellent customer service! I can't say anything for you, but I am more than willing to spend more if it means Bloom sticks around longer!

We found Bloom to be miles a head of the competition! No other Minecraft server provider comes near Bloom. Their servers are exceptional and handled our high player counts (40-80 players) with ease.

Their dedication to providing customers with the best servers possible is beyond what we had ever expected from them. They are one of the few server providers who put the customers experience first and I highly respected that.

Honestly, how is every other host so bad? These guys do it right. Prompt support, happy to answer any questions and really know what they're talking about. The discord community is also amazing. Their panel is super modern and way faster than alternatives.

The prices are unbelievably good, the performance even on the cheaper plan is more than good enough for my use. Have stress tested it with lots of chunk loading, players, entities and more with some light optimizations and didn't see it drop below 20 TPS once. I see literally no reason to go with anyone else. Aside from the fact Bloom offers amazing prices for amazing servers, the help you get from the staff team is what tops it all off.
You couldn't ask for anything more in a server host.

I've been through a lot of hosting options. No one else has come close to the level of performance and support I have received from Bloom.

Performance-wise, I've never before had as smooth an experience with my server's TPS when there are double-digit players online. You get dedicated CPU cores for a price that's comparable to other hosts that ask you to share the same resources with other servers.

Support-wise, Bloom is leagues above the budget hosts I've been through before. With an active Discord server and an owner who's almost always looking over thing, you can usually get help within a few minutes of asking for it. I don't think they promise 24-hour support like other hosts (who make you wait hours or even days before a response anyway), but it sure feels like I'm getting 24-hour support.

5/5. Would give 6 if they let me.

I have been hosting with Bloom for about 3 months now and have not come across any issues. everything is well thought out, the prices are great, support is great and the panel is awesome. can recommend :)

I honestly love bloom. There's quite literally nothing to complain about bloom. They're honest, cheap, friendly, and so much more. their discord is a community where everyone helps each other. The positive vibes are unmatched and it's not so much a corporate like pebble where it's impossible to talk to a human. i'm new to server owning, but not developing and their dedicated servers are nothing but the best. the tickets are quickly answered, and the owner, abby, is probably one of the nicest hosting owner companies i've ever met.

nothing but the best and you can tell because most of their us plans are all sold out every time. that's the only real "con" is that their servers are often sold out and there's a waitlist. i was lucky enough to get a performance + plan i've never dipped below 20tps. no lag from players in both eu and us.

i'm gonna buy from them for a very very long time

tldr: fair prices, good owner/staff, speedy ticket responds, good helpful community where server owners help each other

If you want an awesome Minecraft or VPS Host, choose Bloom first. Their servers are blazingly fast and always in demand. Their support staff is always available to help with whatever they can. I successfully set up a 8 server Bungeecord network using Bloom and it runs great. Highly recommended!

I ve encountered soo many problems with host services i ve ever met, but this one is soo far one of the best

It's simply the best MC Host where I ever hosted my server. Their support is more than excellent, their prices are really more than good, to the point you could think that is fake because of their low prices, but no, it's real.
Their discord community is really good, they can give some cool advice and also ideas to your server, they're all really respectful to everyone.
I don't have anything more to add, just if you're looking for an mc hosting or VPS, take a look at Bloom, I really recommend this hosting.

(-) It feels like certain staff members have become demotivated.

Features:
(+) Included offsite backups.
(+) Included reverse proxy.
(+) Off-site backups.
(+) Detailed documentation.
(+) Dedicated IP addresses included with performance plans.
(+) Dedicated server resources.
(-) Some features I feel are unnecessary/useless and just increase development costs which are eventually passed onto the customer, for example the player manager.

Key advantages:
(+) Panel is in my opinion the best on the market, it's loaded with features that make being an administrator easier.
(+) Cloudflare Magic Transit for US locations, some of the best DDoS protection on the market included at no extra cost.
(+) Bloom owns their own hardware (US).
(+) Community support is very strong.
(+) Server splitting. You can host multiple servers with the same plan, and even things that are not Minecraft such as Discord bots.

Overall: 5/5 - Excellent hosting provider.

For the cost, bloom is insanely cheap and it has many great features like mysql storage, port allocation, reverse proxies, path.net ddos protection, and server splitting. It also uses aikar’s flags unlike some hosts like PebbleHost. It is honestly the best host I’ve ever used out of the 10 I’ve paid for in the past 5 years. Also the Discord community is amazing too, even for non-bloom related support.

Amazing company, amazing managers, amazing community. This hosting company is literally the definition of amazing. The quality of support is unbelievably great, the nodes and servers are also amazing. Great specs, no problems at all during set up. Everything is also fast!
