Bluebird Care - Winchester, Eastleigh & Romsey Avis 

Many thanks to Sarah for everything she did in setting up care for dad. She was not only concerned about getting things right for him, but also recognised how difficult it was for me to hand over his care to people I don't know. It was that interaction that made me sure I had selected the right care company who will be with dad as his needs progress. I also appreciated how quickly she responded to my queries as has Ashleigh, with whom I recently had a successful review meeting.

A huge thank you to you for the care and support you gave us to enable my Dad to get to my son’s wedding last week.
Nothing was too much trouble and having him there meant so much to us all. In particular we want to thank Ambreen for the kindness and care she showed Dad on lead up and on the day. An incredibly special day for us all and he talks about it all the time. Thank you!

Knowledgeable caring care workers . Good advice and contact from managers and office

I can highly recommend Bluebird Care. They really listen to their clients and provide excellent care. They are very sensitive to the needs of the people they care for. My husband did not feel he needed someone to be with him while I was out and therefore was a little reluctant to accept someone coming at first. He now looks forward to his chats with these ‘interesting young men who visit him’. I can now relax when I leave him knowing that he is safe and happy. Thank you Bluebird Care.

So far so good although we have had different carers almost every day. They have all been delightful people and care for my husband really well making him laugh and socialise so we do not mind different carers as it helps my husband with communication. Sometime the rota has no one available but somebody usual turns up. We do get a phone call on the day to say if someone is late or we do not have anyone allocated- once in 5 weeks. Sometimes response from Bluebird organisation is not that prompt but still early days. On the whole I would recommend Bluebird.

My mother had a fall and a fracture which didn't need any surgery. The physio said at the hospital, if we can get care in place, she can come out in the next couple of days. I contacted Bluebird on a Thursday, who arranged a hospital visit with my mum that day, a home assessment was done the following day (Friday) and they had a live in carer arranged to come in on the Monday. This was a relief for us all that we could get mum out of hospital so quickly. Excellent communication and speed. The carer updated an app every day, ticking off medication given and an overview of how my mother was progressing, which I could access each day from home. Next time though we will check what is meant by 'live in' carer and the hours of work. The carer had this in her contract, but we only had 'live in' and that she needed a 2 hour break each day. It is highly likely we will use Bluebird again if care is needed in the future.

From the first phonecall to ask about Bluebird Care Agency to the assessment visit with Kate Lancaster and meeting the new Carers ,everyone was understanding and helpful. They understood this is a big deal for us and tried to match the Carers with our needs. They have all been very patient and kind.

My relative likes to know the times carers are due to visit in order to plan her day,but is not at all concerned about who is coming as she likes them all, what better recommendation?

The carers are all good they know they responsibilities and uses techniques to help the client I really appreciates the dedication and outstanding work of Carl,Elizabeth Beatrice and Chengeto they are amazing .

Bluebird acted fast when I contacted them and soon arranged a visit to assess the situation. A care plan was put in place quickly and efficently. The manager helped me enormously with practical tips and was very kind, cheerful and efficient. Carers were well liked by the person I look after and performed wonders making him clean and tidy again. Probably not the cheapest Care Agency but certainly one of the best we are very pleased with the first two weeks..

We were very pleased with Bluebird, we needed to get care quickly which they managed to do.
Everything was with ease and straightforward.

Amazing team of people from taking my first enquiry, to visiting mum and developing right care package, giving ingenious suggestions when we hit challenges. Very caring and kind carers who leave detailed thoughtful notes everyday for me online including on the the things they know I worry about and stop and chat to mum. I realise now that home care is much more than just the visit itself and I think Bluebird is worth every penny. Hugely relieved to have them. Would definitely recommend.

Bluebird give exceptional care and service. The staff are very professional and always go the extra mile to make sure their clients are looked after. Kate has done an outstanding job recently in arranging live-in care for my parents and all of the staff in the
Winchester office, whom I have had contact with recently, have been extremely helpful and kind.

The team at Bluebird are very impressive, they go above and beyond our expectations in looking after my mother. Thank you so much. it is a great relief to have this extra level of care.

Prompt response to our enquiries with an assessment appointment within a few days. Thorough assessment which included some very useful advice. The team seem very flexible in what they can provide and there are a variety of contracts available to suite differing needs.

From meeting Llyod in our hour of need. To feeling supported and looked after with experienced people. We now have a fabulous carer in place. She is so incredibly kind and caring and goes the extra mile. It's not just a job for either of the team.

Bluebird carers looked after my elderly neighbour for the 2 weeks we were away on holiday. The whole process of her assessment and care planning was professional and a care package was put in place at short notice. It was very reassuring knowing that the carers were going in and ensuring she was up and about and having her medication and breakfast as these are the things she often forgets to do for herself
