At BlueShift Education, our mission is to empower children to be more than just tech consumers, but digital creators. We teach children aged 5 to 14 a creative approach to computing through our online and in-person coding and robotics after-school clubs, holiday camps, workshops, and private tuition. I’ve taken number of courses with…
I’ve taken number of courses with Blueshift. I’ve done all sorts of things like building mobile apps and designing minecraft mods. The teachers are always fantastic and the camps were always well run with lots of outdoor games and snacks.

They do care
My daughter had an incident with her laptop in the after school club. I spoke to the customer service about it and the lady was extremely nice and helpful. She wanted to discuss what happened with the teacher and come back to me.
Once she called back she explained what really happened and apologised.
I have to say that they do care about there students. My daughter wishes for more classes per week

Coding made fun!
We have 2:1 lessons for 11 years olds with Kryštof. What an amazing teacher! Blueshift is easy to book, accessible and Kryštof makes the lessons fun and interactive. The boys absolutely love it! Our regular sessions have been ongoing for over a year and the lessons are as good now as they were on day one. Thank you.

Innovator level - Great exprience!
My two 12yr olds have done BS coding camps a number of times and always enjoy it. This time (innovator level 12-14yr) took it up a notch which they liked a lot. learnt some Java which is amazing!

Amazing Half Term Option
I was a bit concerned that this might not be the best option for my 5th old daughter. I could not have been more wrong. Amazing staff. Attentive, friendly and helpful and a wide range of activities throughout the day. She could not wait to go back the next day.

Wonderful Experience
Blue Shift, taught my son coding for 3 years and in that time he went from shy computer game fan to young coder and top of his class including doing his computer science GCSE a year early. The knowledge learned from the teachers at blue shift is both fun and practical and the temperament of the teachers that we met was always professional and patient. I highly recommend them.

Wonderful camp that combines creativity with coding
The teachers are amazing and the combination of creativity and digital skills made the camp really special for my daughter. She was so happy to use physical making with digital technology in an open way. They made something new every day and it really expanded her skills and engagement with coding.

Topic interesting but engagement not so high
Interesting topic but didn't get the sense that teacher-student engagement was very high. Maybe the kids are too young at 5 or below, maybe it was the end of the day, and maybe it was just that the kids didn't know each other so weren't really being very social, but I walked in to pick up my child on day 2 and it was just silent in the room. Not much interaction between the kids and the teacher, all of whom seemed a bit bored. Child said they did the same thing for two days in a row, so not terribly enthusiastic about signing up for a third day.

We do understand that young students may need some quiet time during the day to help them focus and relax. Therefore, we have incorporated calming exercises into our program to ensure that students can take a break and refocus their attention. These exercises also help children learn self-regulation skills, which are essential for their future academic and personal success.
Furthermore, our program is designed to teach relevant concepts throughout the day, which are then applied to multiple projects that students work on. This approach helps students retain what they have learned, as they see how it applies to different contexts. While some concepts may be repetitive, the activities and projects are not, as they are designed to be engaging and challenging for the students.
