Bob Evans Restaurants Avis 

I am not sure if the stuffing was old but it tasted like cardboard. The rolls were so dry that two thirds of it crumpled, leaving a tiny inner bread pocket. The portions have dropped. All together, it sucked. Will we go back, I don't know. I understand the need for profit but when you reduce portions and increase price. That pisses off even an old liberal.

I placed an order on line at the Sidney Bob Evans and when I got home, I was missing the green beans and carrots with my meal, The 2 chicken breasts were shriveled up and tough.
I was very disappointed and did not want to make the return trip to the restaurant. I doubt that I will be visiting this restaurant in the future.

Ordered a delivery order, once my food got here food was cold, I had asked for biscuits instead of their disgusting yeast tasting rolls but they didn’t care to read the note for the difference which in my opinion they should have an option on the app to switch it since your able to pick which one you want when you eat in… then ordered a slice of chocolate cake but instead of sending me the cake I ordered they sent me 2 cups of rotten fruit. When I called to complain and get a refund on my order the lady answering the phone did quickly oblige with that request but hung up before confirming or taking my information. This experience is deeply disappointing since the last few times we actually have ordered from bob Evans was good, but this experience has turned me off from ordering from you guys anytime soon!

Missing food out of pick up order, called when we got home and were told we could come back and pick it up they would not do a credit. Yes so lets drive another 20 minutes while all of the other food sits. Have never had a good experience at the Mason store decided to give it one more try. Well it's the last time. The rest of the food was mediocre.

The other day I ordered the steak salad. The food was so bad I couldn’t eat it. I am attaching a photograph of unfinished food. The steak was overcooked or if it was a meat, I could not eat something hard.

Horrible ordered online for delivery order pot roast meal and fire side chicken received 3 turkey dinners. Contacted the store they told me I could come get the order that I placed that lady took our order we were delivered hers. We order delivery paid small fortune had no vehichle. Bob Evans told me they do not do refunds sorry about your luck your can either come pickup your order or eat what you got.

Went and did our regular family breakfast today in Champaign, food was just plain horrible!!! Waitress was great. Note I cook in a restaurant and this was just not exceptional, my bun had so much butter in it, basically fell apart trying to pick it up. Bacon was raw and onion rings hard as a rock!!! We will not be back

Ordered a curbside pick up, the distance is 10 miles round trip. Got home and dessert was not included in order. Had to drive back again to get it. They were completely unconcerned. Wont be ordering from them anymore.

So we are at bob eve and right now and the waitresses are nice so yes I left a tip but the food o did complain and I’m not a picket eater at all. I didn’t eat anything and they asked boxes decline said no it’s not very good at all and didn’t ask if I’d like half off or a coupon for another meal nothing. Sorry but u seen my10 year old and I both neither of us ate anything obviously it wasn’t good the corn tasted so gross the chicken was nasty also and seemed under cooked but it’s all good . I see why they have a low star rating.

On 7/22/2024 @ 10:15am I placed an order for delivery for a cost of $18.09. The employee that took the order ALLEGEDLY confirmed that it would've been delivered after charging my credit card for $18.09 she then says that they(Bob Evans) cannot delivery to the address given to them and wouldn't compromise with Uber eats to delivery it either. So the manager on deck said he would reverse the payment charged and the $18.09 would be credited back on my card within 7- 10 business days. Well here it is 2wks (14) days and it still hasn't been returned to my account. My nxt step will be to file a dispute with my credit card bank and then contact Bob Evans corporate office for condoning this type of action from it's franchise and employees. I'm also going to screen shot this message and post it on social media and expose this type BS going on at store #057 and let the American people know not to come to this store and never order for delivery from this restaurant etc etc. I'm retired and I will post this everyday until I'm compensated my $18.09 back ..

Bring back the original steak dinner. The steak tips are not as good. We haven't been back since they changed the menu.

Went to Bob Evans for the last time today. It was 11 o’clock on a Monday and there were only about five people in the entire place who had already been waited on and were eating. Despite that, it took over five minutes for the hostess to come over and seat us. I told her I wanted a booth and she took us to a table. I repeated that I wanted a booth so she moved us. Then we waited for over 10 minutes and still no one came to ask what we wanted to drink. A few minutes after another two couples were seated. Within minutes, they had waitresses who took their order and we still had not seen a waitress. I flagged down the hostess and told her we had not yet seen a waitress. She went over and told her that we were waiting. A few minutes later, both of them walked past us and neither said ‘I’ll be with you in a minute’. We just walked out at that point. I don’t know how other Bob Evans are but this particular one in Jackson, Michigan has the most awful customer service I have ever had…consistently.

Ever since you bring in the food it's horrible, used to be that one could always count on a good meal at Bob's but not anymore, I have been in many other restaurants and heard people say how bad Bob's is anymore, I can see that Bob's is going to closing soon

Only getting a 1 star because they were open. The rolls were absolutely hard as concrete on my online order...the manager told me that they've had several complaints on the rolls over the last few weeks. This is the problem of the staff for allowing a dozen hard rolls to be sent out of the store..they know this when they put them in the box. This is a very sad practice when this store is barely staying afloat. I am assuming they are selling expired rolls to customers. I asked for a refund and the manager said no...but I could come get more rolls...then why wasn't I given good rolls in the first place lady?

Food is good. Service is good. I give it a 4 stars

The only reason I came to Bob Evans for years was the big fish dinner. This year that all went away. Now its three little piece that came right out the Gorden's bag. I didnt think you could cut fish that thin. Nothing but batter. Wifes pot roast was also smaller. I can get better food at my VFW. Service was good.

We have gone a number of times to the Bob Evans restaurant in Temple Terrace, In Tampa #469. Our experience there has always been excellent, the food is always very good, it is always very clean and the staff is always very nice. They have an excellent supervisor, Christine Who does an excellent job with the staff and with the quality of the place. Five star in my book

It's so cold, you can't enjoy your meal.

Took my grandson and his siblings for his birthday. Ordered and waited and waited and waited. Never brought rolls or appetizers before the meal although the table beside us who got there after us and had the same server got theirs. Watched our food sit in the window under the heat lamp for 18 minutes so needless to say everything was dried out. The tomatoes on my chicken dish were mushy and hot. Worst food and service ever and it was not because they were busy. Management needs to step it up and instead of standing around actually make sure food is getting ran out on time.

We go to the Bob Evans In Mayfield Heights Ohio. The
Manger there Vonda was awesome. She makes sure everyone has a great experience and if there is and issue she gets it fixed right away. She greets everyone
with a hello and a smile always. She treats everyone
like family. Love going there.
