Not reliable, poor management
My courier had an accident. He called for another courier, that was send in the wrong place. The support team managed the situation so poorly, that I waited 2h for a burger, just to get my order cancelled. They assured me that the order will be delivered. And the support team thought is fine to return my money and wish me a nice evening.
This company is a joke
This company is a joke. Customer service responds late - after you don’t need them anymore. And they don’t offer any compensation for your wasted time and money. Avoid. I have way better experience with Glovo and wolt. Respect your customers or you will not have success.

The food was late and cold
The food arrived at least after 1,5 hour, and the whole dinner was cold. The restaurant was quick to make the food and then Bolt waited 1 hour to get a courier.. Don’t use Bolt if you want your meal hot or to a spesific time (Bucharest). Very disapointed.

I placed an order on Bolt Food , one day before it’s delivery, with a specific delivery time (by 12:00) next day, and left clear instructions about the importance of punctuality, as I had to leave for work. I wrote in advance to the restaurant letting them know how important this is. They acknowledged the message. However, the order arrived an hour late, after I’d already left, leaving me without food for the next 12h shift. I even left them a generous extra tip for the delivery. Bolt Food’s customer service was unprofessional and completely unhelpful. They were lying to my face about things happened and trying to make it I was at fault. What’s the point to order food in advance and selecting a time frame if not respected and ignored. I warn them I will escalate this with my bank and ask for my money back and they were “good luck with that” kinda reply. Not recommended.

What a terrible experience when it comes to customer support and solving problem!!!
I usually never complain but this was very far from a very little support from such a big food app like bolt.
I ordered food and as always left my delivery address, sadly havent checked pinned address which was a random place and probably glitch in the app.
When the driver arrived to the pinned address, there was no chance to changed it. Customer support said they cannot do anything with it and apparently address was 'wrong' and they never gave me a adequate answer why there is delivery address so that is very misleading. Driver wanted to bring it to delivery address but he got a note from bolt app to leave it there and drive to another location.
When I asked for refund, they said they are not obliged to do so. Btw. there is no telephone number for support so I was not even able to call them!!! Super disappointing from this.

I cant say enough good things about this vanilla ice cream. The texture is so incredibly creamyits like a cloud in your mouth. You know youre in for a treat the moment you take that first bite. The vanilla flavor is so pure and authenticits not too sweet or overpowering, and theres a subtle richness that keeps you coming back for more. I love how versatile it is, whether Im enjoying it in a sundae, with pie, or straight out of the tub. This is the kind of ice cream that makes you appreciate the simple things in life.

Driver travels around in random directions, customer service don't care
So after around 3 years of using I have decided to stop. Bolt Market has some great products and prices are often less than some competitors, though I am a regular user of delivery apps and this is the only one where drivers regularly pick up an order and then drive around in random directions to pick up or deliver other orders before coming to you. I live about 5 minutes drive from a restaurant, and after picking up my order, the driver decided to drive the opposite direction for about 15 minutes, before stopping and doing whatever it was he was doing, before then heading another direction which was also the wrong direction from where I live. So basically he was driving around with my food for around 40 minutes, when it should only have taken 5 to 10 minutes to be delivered. The driver should come direct once they have your food, which seems to always happen with Wolt, Glovo and Uber Eats. Also a few years ago in Romania, the Bolt Food driver delivered to some random thieves who were outside my hotel apartment, instead of coming to me. And another time, the driver stopped off at a shopping centre to get food on the way to my apartment, which obviously takes about 20 minutes minumum to park and go up to the food court. Customer service don't care and just send templates, or they insist that their estimated time which contrantly changes, is in some way an "agreed" time, and they try to make you seem stupid for complaining that your driver went for a tour around your city for 40 minutes with your food hostage.

The support is shocking and beyond aweful! I ordered food , food was delivered late and missing items (AGAIN). Items that were clearly advertised on the website while placing the order! I reported this issue to support and “AS EXPECTED” , they simply send you an Automated message claiming your issue is being escalated and then stop responding! Lost me as a customer for any Bolt services going forward. Shameful and aweful service!!

What happens quite frequently now if you order food, the couriers - 99% of which are foreigners very often get late with delivery, always get lost even though you contact them and guide them with directions. Food is cold, and whenever you seek refund, Bolt gives SHAMEFUL 1,5 EUR into your face! Absolutely massive and disgusting joke of a company! I hope they leave Lithuania and go bancrupt! ATROCIOUS.
I removed Bolt food app and wont be using it in future, i highly advice others to do the same.

Pior aplicação de entrega de refeições que já usei. O apoio ao cliente é praticamente nulo. Fiz uma encomenda dia 01/05/2024, que estava a demorar bastante tempo a ser recolhida, sendo que o estafeta aparecia parado. Perguntei o que se passava sem resposta satisfatória, e passado um bom bocado foi me atribuído um novo estafeta, sendo que este último demorou mais uma vez imenso tempo a recolher o pedido, e assim que recolheu, foi dar uma volta enorme por Lisboa ao invés de me vir trazer o pedido directamente. O pedido chegou bem fora de horas, a comida vinha fria e estava num estado simplesmente intragável, tive que a mandar fora sendo que não se apresentava sequer comestível. O peixe cheirava mal, estava seco e com uma cor escura bastante duvidosa. As embalagens vinham completamente banhadas a molho de soja que teria sido entornado por todo o lado. Tentei contactar a Bolt Foods, sendo que tal foi simplesmente fútil, justamente porque o apoio ao cliente da mesma é nulo. Exigi múltiplas vezes o reembolso da refeição ao qual tenho direito por lei, e a Bolt Foods já nem sequer se digna a responder-me, sendo que as últimas respostas foram a oferecer-me uns míseros 3€ como compensação, repetindo várias vezes que não podem dar mais. Esta situação é simplesmente inaceitável e depois disto eu não volto a utilizar esta plataforma miserável.

Ordered food which wasn’t delivered. The courier stated I couldn’t be reached when I had no missed calls and nobody called my door. Now customer support refuse to refund my money and ignore my messages when I ask them to take the responsibility!
A Review of Service Shortcomings at Bolt Food and Sushi Chef
Based on my recent experience, I am significantly disappointed with the services of Bolt Food and Sushi Chef at Krejnická 2021, Prague 4. The order was incomplete, missing an extra portion of meat and corn, as evidenced by the attached photos. Also, no receipt was provided. My attempts to resolve this with Bolt Food, who serves as the intermediary, were unsatisfactory as they only offered compensation for the missing corn and not for the meat, and they refused to provide a receipt or a transcript of the customer support chat (ticket number 360790039). Attempts to address the issue directly with Sushi Chef also failed, including a call that was abruptly disconnected. It appears that incomplete orders are a common practice with these providers. I advise caution when ordering from them and recommend conducting a test purchase.
