My latest book, A Young Boy's Stories about Dixie, History of the Walter E. Peele Dixie Water Treatment Plant was a very special project for me, which began with Bookfuel in June of 2016. Then I was diagnosed with a very aggressive and extensive case of stage four neck and throat cancer that had also migrated into the surrounding lymph nodes. Now faced with a prognosis that was (and still is) uncertain as to my ability to survive this cancer, the book quickly became what is most likely my life's destiny, and the legacy that I leave behind. Being that the book has historical accounts that have never been written or published before. I am the last living person who knew about many of the events and personal stories discussed within the book, events that are a part of Fort Lauderdale Florida's early history.

So it became even more important that the book service (Bookfuel) that I had chosen to help guide me through the self publishing (design, publication, distribution, etc.) process be the best that money could buy. From start to finish everyone, Greg, Marci, Julia, Rebbecca, Lori, and Alyson (along with all of the others behind the scene that I have not named) were not only very professional, but also very understanding in the way they worked with me throughout the project. Patiently waiting during the times I was too ill to move forward with the progress, and then doing everything they could do to help expedite things when I felt good enough to continue working on the book. Together as a team, we were able to turn out a beautifully done book of history for the generations to come to read.

I cannot thank Bookfuel's staff enough for having gone above and beyond in their efforts, and giving me what I feel was more than my money's worth in service. I HIGHLY recommend Bookfuel to anyone needing someone to help them through the self publishing process!

" And on May 17, 2016, you sent BookFuel an e-mail that stated all errors had been corrected in the final version of the edit and you were “happy”. You subsequently signed off on the edit and we moved forward through the publication process."

Actually, I found MORE errors in the book after the initial publication. The errors were from the fourth round of editing, this included the free round because the second round was so messed up by your editor. If you want to try and talk your way out of that, I will start to copy and paste the emails.
The truth is that I listed errors that were supposed to be fixed and never were. I got a PDF back and didn't see the issues, but when I got the printed book they were still there.
Onto the fifth round of edits. I spent more money to fix what errors that Bookfuel failed to fix before, and not all of those were handled either.
At this point, I was just done with your company. I signed off on it because I didn't want to deal with Bookfuel ever again.
I was done giving your company money only to get terrible service.

My expectations were for your company to be professional and to not screw up my manuscript at every turn.

Assist me in any way? Sure, give me my money back. I got garbage service.

BookFuel is great for first time authors. I liked how they walked me through each step of process.

I really liked the book design part and how they took my ideas and made into reality. My book cover is AWESOME and tailored to me!

I highly recommend Book Fuel for self publishers.
I worked with them for six months on my book, The Triple Net Investor.
First of all it is incredible that they allow you to pay as you are going through the publishing process via the The Boost Program.
Secondly, it is a process. A very professional detailed organized process.
This is my first book. I am already working on the second one - that I plan to publish with Book Fuel. BTW - My book hit best-seller under Real Estate Investments and Real Estate sales on Amazon and I have yet to run a real marketing campaign.

It would have been nice to receive my book cover to use!

Let's just say they finished the printed product by the due date and it could be my fault for not checking the editors work. The ebook was final 3 months later which could have been lost in emails. And their website and process needs to be improved. You pay and get very little.

Great teamwork, always follow-up and very professional!

Everyone at Bookfuel was extremely helpful. From the first moment I signed up with them I felt I had a strong ally. They continued to guide me every step of the way until my book was published. I look forward to working with them again on my future manuscripts.

The people I worked with were friendly and professional. Each step of the book creation and distribution has to be approved by the author. The print designer and cover designer worked quickly to resolve any problems.

I think Bookfuel is a great company for new authors who are not ready to take on formatting, cover design, and distribution on their own.

Great customer service dealing with all the associates however, I experienced some confusion within the company and its processes. Waiting time was a little slow. Overall customer service was really great.

Once I started with BookFuel to publish my book " The Haunting of Marcasite" there was a totally different feel and attitude to helping me getting my book out. They were very patience and helpful from the editing process, cover design, format and layout processes. I am committed to BookFuel for my next book as well.

Not quite done as yet. We're still working on marketing. But so far excellent service. The staff is very nice and courteous. Everything so far has been done well. My HB and PB books are excellent in quality. No complaints only praise. I would think the ultimate praise would be whether I would publish my next book with Bookfuel. And the answer is absolutely.

Well, I must tell you that I do not normally respond to requests for reviews. In today’s world it seems we get asked to write reviews on everything! Is this not true? However, where the publisher Bookfuel is concerned, I felt compelled to submit my approval. I recently published my first book through Bookfuel and the phrase “going above and beyond applies to them. Thank you, Bookfuel! You will be my choice for subsequent writings and I’ve already been giving your good name to other perspective authors. You have my respect and my sincere thanks!

I never did this before (wrote a book) so I was in uncharted waters....they babysat me through. frankly I couldn't have done it, (a few times I was stumped), without their help. This was particularly true since I am not good with the computer in the second place.I mean next time it will be easier but I'm glad I went with this outfit.

Book fuel published my first book Sept. 7, 2017. Prior to this I have been a published poet and short story writer. I also wrote news paper columns for several years which went around the world. And I am a published poet.
But writing a book, memoir was quite a different, and much longer journey!
Barbara Scanlon was my book manager and helped...supported, guided, encouraged and taught me new computer skills all along the way.

Every part of their work/support was excellent! They helped me craft an attractive and quality book, which I am proud to share with others!

They were amazing, great to work with. From the very first day they were there to answer all my questions. They made everything super easy and they were sooo friendly. Everyone was pleasant to work with and they showed me that there are no such things as stupid questions.

i was expertly guided through each phase of the publishing process. All my questions were answered and the process was accomplished sooner than expected.

It really has been a good experience. There were times when I was promised a response/reply by a certain day, but I had to reach back out to the contact because she forgot, or got busy. That was frustrating, but overall it was great!
