Book choices are really really good and at great prices 👏 👍 People really should be applauding a good Irish company for keeping prices low and for having such a good network service showing such a veration of books 📚

Happy with the service. Books available at a cheap price.
However it should be mentioned on your website that they are 2nd hand books so people do not expect brand new books. There is a little lack of honesty here.

There were drawings on my daughters'book and she did not appreciate this. She can still read it.

Absolutely terrible service. Ordered a book on the 18th of January. I'm still waiting for it. I emailed the company who claimed I'd ordered a digital version of the book. This is not true, has I double checked my order. I haven't received a book or a digital download 😕. Customer service no help. I gave them 1 star because there isn't a zero star.

Another online book company is using this name and they are scammers.

Do not order from Thebookworld.uk (A DIFFERENT COMPANY)
You expect a half price hardback with free postage that never arrives and when you send a query you are told that you had ordered an eBook.

This is why this company is getting negative reviews.

Great service

I note some dubious comments here possible duplicate reviewers.
I ordered some highly reputed books only to receive poor quality PRINT ON DEMAND photocopy garbage on disgusting recycled paper and horrible grainy photos.
The seller chose to be intransigent and arrogantly suggests I pay for the postage even though it is I who has been wronged.
Despicable service.

I ordered this "book club" each month for my mother in law who is fighting cancer. We had planned on getting her something else for Christmas this year but all she wants is for us to extend this again.

The books have been of huge comfort to her and she loves the choices made. She adores rhe library but has been too unwell some months to go. The escape has been surreal for her. Not once has this been late etc.

I buy a box of books from them every few months. Fast, free delivery and excellent value for money. It's a great service.

Amazing service. Ordered a book on Thursday and it was delivered on Saturday morning…. ( express delivery) Book was in perfect condition and packaged very well. Needed to check in with them, sent an email and Peter answered within 20 minutes. Will buy again and would definitely recommend.

I paid for 4 books on July 16 and only one arrived a while later. The other 3 have yet to come and when questioned I keep getting the runaround, "They have left our facility" or "Wait another 48 hrs."
I have logged a dispute with PAYPAL to get my money back and will not return.

See it today, read it tomorrow. I love purchasing books through Book World. Fast, efficient, and always good quality. Makes sense!

Second time buying from them, would do it again. Quality for secondhand books was top-notch, at least for the ones that I got.
And I don't remember what happened last time but this time I ordered on the 21st and an post delivered it on the 22nd, which was a pleasant surprise.

This is a great Irish website that sells new and used books. From the time I placed my order to the time my order arrived it only took a couple of days as I ordered on a bank holiday.

Their website has a great range of books from all genres and has books for all ages and interests. Also it is great that there is a company that offers a service like this in Ireland.

The box that my books arrrived in was well packaged with no damage to it or the books inside it. The books are all in perfect condition.

My order was delivered by An Post which is great as it is very efficient for getting deliveries to me in my locality. They always deliver on time.

This is the 3rd time I've ordered books from this company. Books arrived today, very good condition, great service.

I ordered a Saturday, it got packed Sunday and shipped Monday!

I got two mystery boxes: general fiction and the science fiction + fantasy boxes! Some of the books were in better condition than others, but mostly it's just the condition of the book itself.
