I got Engaged with them for multiple deliverables for 3-4 customers from Dubai region and their quality of delivery, resource availability, technical depth is excellent.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

I agreed $27,000 USD for a software project with the expectation of a professional, high-quality product delivered by experienced developers. Unfortunately, that is nowhere near what I received.

For months, I was repeatedly given work that had clearly not been properly checked or tested. Basic errors were left unresolved, the product was at times simply broken, and the overall standard of development was far below what I would consider acceptable for a project of this value.

What makes this worse is that I trusted Brainium and their team. I trusted their process and assumed that when work was presented to me, it had actually been reviewed and was functioning properly. Instead, I later discovered serious problems that should have been caught by the team themselves. I was even asked for payment for a product they knew was not working.

The response to my concerns has been equally frustrating. Rather than acknowledging the poor quality of the work, the focus has been on explaining hours worked and changes made when requested. That completely misses the point. With a $27,000 project, I should not have to identify every basic issue or explain every obvious improvement. Professional developers should be proactively identifying and fixing problems.

I also raised concerns about development hours being reported that, in my view, did not reflect the work actually performed. Showing me hours as a defence was not reassuring—it was insulting.

My original UI and landing-page ideas were also largely ignored, with decisions seemingly driven by what was easiest for the team.

And the bot personality/messaging system? Around 200 hours and $3,000 for something that barely differentiates between easy and hard difficulty and feels extremely basic.

The quality of work demonstrated here is far below the standard expected from a competent software developer. The work is consistently sloppy, incomplete, and unnecessarily slow, with insufficient attention to detail or basic engineering discipline. Tasks that should have been straightforward were handled with poor execution, resulting in unclear outcomes and work that could not be confidently considered complete.

There appears to be a serious lack of ability to understand requirements, translate them into a workable solution, and deliver that solution to an acceptable standard. Progress is painfully slow, and even after significant time is spent, the final result often fails to address the original task properly. This creates unnecessary rework, delays, and frustration for everyone involved.

The overall level of technical competence, ownership, and execution shown is extremely poor. Problems are not identified or resolved effectively, communication lacks clarity, and the work frequently requires additional intervention to reach even a minimally acceptable state.

Based on the quality, speed, completeness, and reliability of the work delivered, this represents one of the lowest standards

Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend Brainium based on what I experienced.

mukesh vice president and pukesh: Never ending request to "trust" them and allow them to provide another website. In reality, he wanted my further 13000 USD. Easier for him to redo website and continue to take my USD. I received "support and maintenance" back of 3600 USD (so no refund.
Also they would not send the money via international bank transfer. Brainium recommended Revolut which charged me 140 USD plus transfering from USD to my currency costs. This did not cost brainium anything of course I lost out again.

So in total brainium experience cost me 14000 USD out of pocket with no website. Restart again with another company. Stay away from brainium.

I am seeking legal action against Brainium Information Technologies, too bad I can't post pictures here because I wanted to post legal notices, mediation applications etc. You can consult my google review for those. Even a few other review sites who allow posting pictures in reviews.

I approached Brainium Infotech in late January 2025 inquiring about their services. I informed Mr. Azhar Shake very clearly what my needs and requirements are. I repeated myself multiple times and he kept confirming the list of deliverables and requesting more specific information about certain features I was asking for. I ended up signing on the 18th of February 2025 after I was confident that he understood the requirements, the contract states the work should take 12 to 14 weeks. The company’s size and many positive reviews led me to believe it is a reputable company but my experience with them made me realise I couldn't have been more wrong and that a lot of the negative reviews I read were spot on.

I held weekly meetings with the project manager, Miss Nabaruna Sinha and the programmer, Miss Neha Joshi. In the beginning they proposed a strategy that I now know any professional working in tech would know won’t work. After a few months of working on that, they told me that the software only succeeds on a fraction of the tasks it’s supposed to and that they know how to fix it but it will require that we enter into a second phase that I eventually found out in September 2025 would cost me a little over 11000usd. I only signed off on the last milestone of “phase 1” (around November 2025) because they told me the small bugs I was pointing out would be fixed right away in the following phase and Mr. Azhar Shake offered me the new price of 6000usd.

Throughout this whole mess, the programmer, Ms. Neha Joshi told me she is already employing the help of her little brother but that I shouldn't worry because he's really good and if I want to speed things up I can pay more to have a bigger team working on it.

After sending the last payment, I contacted Mr. Pranay Pandey, their Vice-President, to discuss the following steps and I explained everything to him. On the 5th of December, he wrote to me saying he decided not to move forward with phase 2 stating feasibility issues and risks that nobody ever mentioned in the 10 months that they were working on a software they told me would take a maximum of 14 weeks.

I hired a lawyer in Kolkata and they ignored all his communications until the final notice, that is when they acted surprised. They stated they never received anything from him despite multiple successful delivery reports from courier services. Hopefully the mediation stage goes well but I won’t think twice before going to court and taking it all the way if these scammers refuse to cooperate. It’s been more than a year since I approached Brainium Information Technologies and not only am I not a single step closer towards my goal but I actually went backwards.

Had a great experience with Brainium every time we hire them.
Have hired them for several projects from full website development to design of flyers.
Next project is to build our CRM from scratch.
