Great grinds, Eoin is a wonderful teacher, has a great connection with the kids, an easy manner and a very good way of explaining everything to them. Hoping for Eoin for 3rd year in September.

I can’t recommend Breakthrough Maths highly enough. At first, I wasn’t sure how well the online format would work, but Eoin is incredibly engaging and manages the interaction through the chat (which only the tutor can see) extremely well.

His explanations are always very clear, and he has a real knack for simplifying exactly what is being asked. There is huge value in the questions students ask through the chat during the sessions, as the answers are often where the real learning happens. Those questions tend to focus on the “why” and “how” behind each practice question, and Eoin’s explanations are what really help proper understanding take root.

Because the BTM classes clash with training, being able to access the recordings at a time that suits us has also been brilliant. The new portal launched this year is extremely user-friendly too. Overall, it has been a fantastic support.

Classes 4 nights oer week ans recording available if you miss them . Everything explained in a way pupils understand from a pleasant patient teacher. Masterclass available for mocks and pre exam really great. Couldn't recommend Breakthrough Maths more highly, well worth taking the classes.

I was very happy with Breakthrough maths. My son benefited from the structure of twice weekly sessions that he committed too. The weekly coaxing to study was no longer a battle. There was a time to be online and I think he benefited from that. I believe in giving tools over pressure to achieve if possible. He had the same teacher and I noticed his smiles with the social side within classes which is important to create the bond and makes it easier to turn up again for the next class. His understanding of maths grew over the year and while he is clever he equally benefited from the steady pace and in-depth explanations. He was failing honours maths, then passed his pre's and while I wont know his JC results until after the summer I'm very happy with his increased understanding and his confidence in maths and himself.

The grinds themselves are excellent, they brought my son from a H3 to H1, they focus on questions slowly to help students struggling with maths, but can also speed it up and push students goung for H1.
Only downside is the email and payment system was really frustrating

I signed my son up for online grinds after the mocks to help him along. It was one hour classes, Monday to Thursday every week. They were really great. He found that things were explained clearly and he could follow the pattern of each class. This really helped with things he found difficult to understand in school. He felt more confident and prepared going in to the exam. I'm really grateful for all the help and the very useful tips when doing the actual exam paper. Well done to you TJ and all your staff. I'd really recommend the grinds to anyone that struggles with Maths.

They guys are so helpful and will work around and tailor the package to suit you ...they bring expert maths one to one right to your desk at home , and they follow up everytime to see that no student gets left behind , thank you Breakthrough Maths

My two daughters truly enjoyed the Breakthrough maths classes. Though they attended a crash course the class were were engaging, well-structured, and very effective in helping her understand mathematical concepts more clearly. The recorded sessions were especially valuable, as they allowed her to revisit topics and reinforce her learning at her own pace. We found the programme to be an excellent support for her maths education and would highly recommend it to other students.

Breakthrough Maths gets full marks from us! After the Mocks in January my son ( 6th year OL) was completely disheartened and was rapidly loosing interest in his LC Maths. Since then he has completed the 10 Week Course & over that time I’ve seen his attitude become more positive & hopeful & he is now really working at his Maths with the encouragement & sheer positivity of his tutors at Breakthrough Maths. He says they explain things differently & it just makes more sense. The classes are recorded so he can rewatch them back, re-enforcing what he’s learned. He’s also signed up for the Night Before The Exam sessions which he feels will reduce his stress , focus his mind &!help his revision. Can’t recommend them enough!!

My son found it great. Found the team so easy to listen too. All the information given in an easy way to learn. Great tips. Even if you missed a class, you could always go back and study it again as many times as you liked. Would definitely use and recommend them.

TJ and all the team are so approachable and accommodating. Diarmuid is a brilliant tutor, and explains everything really well. My son’s confidence and understanding has improved ten fold from his classes in higher maths over the last six weeks.

The set up for the online classes is brilliant, four classes a week with the same topics covered for two classes so it really drums it in and the fact that classes are recorded and available to go back over at any time is so handy. My son has found these classes invaluable and his only regret is that we didn’t start them sooner. Both my sons are booked in for the Night before Masterclasses for the LC and JC in a few days and we’ll definitely be back earlier in 6th year for my younger son as he approaches his LC in three years time.

What an amazing find before the Junior Cert! So many topics covered so much available for review! Couldn’t recommend Breakthrough Maths enough. Am definitely returning because this is the help that is needed at such an important stage.

My son Pádraig has being getting grinds from TJ and the crew for the last few years.. this year will be his last year as he is sitting his Leaving Cert this year.
The progress he has made since we signed him up has been fantastic.
I would recommend anyone to give it a try. The lads offer a few trial to see what you think and then you have the option to carry on if you want.
Well worth the money, 4 classes a week with recordings and from the comfort of your home. No going out to somewhere, just log on and work away..

I highly recommend these online maths grinds. The format was convenient and flexible with the plan for the week forwarded via text every Sunday. My daughter had Diarmuid for ordinary level Leaving Cert maths and found him to be very patient and he was genuinely interested in helping the students. Keep up the good work.

My daughter found the grinds really beneficial and was great she could look back at recordings.The communication between grinds was amazing too.
She’s about to take the junior cert feeling alot more confident.
