This is a Chinese based company, not London as you’re lead to believe. Very long delivery, and extremely poor quality.

Awful, took ages to arrive, obviously sent from China, Item Bad quality .
it’s Not in the U.K. or London. The name is deliberately misleading…it’s not Brickby brick London …or even U.K.!

Light fitting arrived damaged and took forever to arrive. Definitely not to any British Standard as it is a class 1 with no earthing, and requires you to wire all of the 6 fittings to your own terminal block. Communications have also been bad. Avoid at all costs, also as others have said, this company is not UK based.

The item wasn’t the same item in the description. They refuse to refund and they ask me to return to CHINA!!! paying the cost of the delivery. STAY WAY

I order the above on Zenido, however for the return we have the deal with brickbybricklondon. Firstly, the clock is print, small and made from plastic and not such made from wood and like in the photo they show! They want me to send back the clock to China on my expenses even if the clock did not meet the description and is such a low quality for such a high price (£77). Do not buy anything from them! They even know what they are selling and they refuse to pay the return! I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEM!! I also contacted a citizen advisor and a ombudsman scheme is under the process for both organisations.

Please please please do not buy from this company. They are horrendous to deal with.
We bought lights from them which we eventually received, although not all at the same time, but then found they were not matching lights (as we had ordered), had been badly manufactured and were of extremely poor quality.
We requested a full refund and for their returns procedure.
We did receive a reply asking for photographic evidence of the problems with the lights, which we sent, and eventually got a reply offering a 20% discount if we keep them.
Since the lights were unusable we refused this and once again asked for a full refund
and to return the items.
We have now been stuck in a "loop" of automated replies requesting photographic evidence and offering a 20% discount if we keep the lights.
There is no contact phone number or live chat facility on their website so, for us, it looks like we will have to go down the route of contacting our bank to chase a refund.
This company should not be trading.
Brick by Brick London are actually trading through Netherlands selling cheap Chinese rubbish.
In an update to this review, I have continued to chase the company while the bank method of refund is pursued.
I am now getting some form of reply but these emails seem to be automatically generated offering slightly increased levels of refund (we are now at 25% if we keep the lights).
I have refused everything except 100% so we have now been told WE must arrange return of the goods, to the following address:-

Confirmation that this is a Chinese company dishonestly setting up to look like a European company.

Further research has led me to find the parent company of Brick by Brick London, it is DropshipBenelux.
As the name suggests the company operate by something called Drop Shipping.
A "fake" company is set up in a specific country, Netherlands on this occasion, but all orders are automatically sent through to the Chinese "head office".
There never was or is any type of business set up outside of China.
Although technically legal it does nothing to gain customer confidence or loyalty.
The parent company also has a company called Pawberry Lane registered at this address.

So far I still havent received the light - ordered coming up to 3 weeks ago - have written numerous emails to try and get money back but supposedly it was in transit - today it looks like it is now getting to an international airport so who knows ….my fault I assumed it was a company in london - its not its based in Netherlands. If you want a prompt delivery buy alight in the UK.

I bought a lamp and I’m very happy with it. It looks great. I would definitely order from here again.

I don’t usually order online very often because I’m afraid my orders won’t arrive… but I thought, you know what, I’ll just give it a try since I saw good reviews about this webshop. In the end, I received my product and I’m very satisfied with the service. So for me, it’s definitely a recommendation to order your products here!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THIS IS A SCAM.

I paid £700 for two lamps, waited weeks, and received one incorrect lamp.

Customer service has been unresponsive despite multiple emails and photo evidence. They keep avoiding accountability and offering no solution or refund.

If this happens to you, contact your bank immediately to dispute the charge.

I would never buy anything from this company my clock took 3 weeks to arrive after many emails. I want to return the item but after many many emails back and fore they want me to keep the clock and offered me a 25% refund which I dont want i want to return it i dont want it its been 2 weeks of emails they eventually give me a address to send it to in China! It's misleading advertising the company name is brick by brick London. Correspondence comes from the Netherlands and you have to return to China. Don't order anything from them!!

I wouldn’t even give them 1*- after reading the reviews I’ve had a very similar experience. Ordered a clock in September, still hasn’t arrived. I keep getting spam emails saying the clock is out of stock and refusing to give me a refund.
I have now disputed it with my bank after realising it’s a scam company based in China. They had the audacity to dispute it.
STAY AWAY.

Absolutely disgraceful!!
Having recently received my order I am very disappointed, the delivery time was more than double what was stated, and after paying quite a high price what I received was cheap poor quality imported tat, highly unimpressed, extremely underwhelmed, service poor, quality abysmal, most definetly would not reccommend.

They market themselves as a UK company - it appears they simply overcharge for items they simply order from temu/Alibaba. Returns a hassle. Avoid!

Stay the hell away! Parted with £246 thinking I was getting some quality lights from London turns out this is a dropshipping china based website. Items took 3 weeks to come, they sent incorrect item heavily damaged and scratched. I have been going back and forth with them refusing to acknowledge the fact I want a refund by bypassing everything I write trying to fob me off with discounts. Honestly they are a nightmare they are posing to be in the UK stay the hell away and do not give them any of your money!!!! Gonna have to try and get money back from the bank!

This is Britdwell under a different guise. Ordered two lamps, one went missing and cannot get any response from anyone. Definitely not in London as the name suggests.

I waited 3 weeks for a light to arrive for it for be severely damaged on arrival. Box had been opened too. I wanted to send it back but was told I had to pay to send it back to china or settle on a 20% refund which has now been upped to 25%. I am happy to send it back, but not at my own expense, which they have already said is costly. Especially as the item is defective. Have now taken it up with my credit company and can only pray I get my money back. Avoid this company at all costs. On the surface it looks like a British company but realistically it's a huge scam based in China. Lesson learnt!

The lights i ordered looked different to the pictures on the website and when i asked to return the items the company is trying to avoid my return and is holding things up by sending generic replies. Do not buy anything there unless you are sure you really want the product or best avoid as not advisable to support a company with such bad customer service service. I am taking mine to customer advice bureau now and to trading standards as they have gone completely quiet on me and wont send a returns form and address.

I have unfortunately been enticed like others to believing this company is a legitimate UK based one. I ordered a product on 17/10/2025 and am still waiting on it arriving in the country. The tracking is showing that it is still in transit to some unknown airport in some unknown country! Many companies like this with similar websites and MOs seem to be freely operating able to exploit our lax trading laws.
