This was a service I didn’t know existed, but always wanted. It’s a LEGO library, and it’s amazing! Everything comes incredibly organized, labeled, and structured.
If you’ve run out of space on your shelves or have bought sets before “just to build” this is an excellent solution!
liked the idea behind this service and returned the LEGO sets in good faith once I was able to locate the pieces. However, my experience highlighted a major issue with how the policies are structured.
After cancelling, customers have 14 days to return sets. If that deadline is missed, a full replacement charge is applied — and returning the sets later does not reverse that charge once applied. In practice, this means late returns can end up costing more than simply keeping the sets.
The return emails I received did not clearly explain that missing the 14-day window would result in a non-reversible replacement fee even if the items were later returned. Had that been made clearer, I would have made a different decision.
By the time fees were applied, the total cost was close to what it would have cost to simply buy LEGO sets outright, which defeats the purpose of a rental service meant to help families save money.
I’m sharing this so future customers fully understand the timelines and financial risk before subscribing.

We want to make sure the full picture is available for context. Upon your cancellation on 10/3, we immediately sent an email clearly outlining the return process, including the 14-day window and what would happen if sets weren't returned in time. When we still hadn't received the sets back well past that deadline, we sent another email on 11/10 reminding you that the sets needed to be returned. We never received a response to that email. We didn't process the replacement charge until 11/24 — nearly 8 weeks after cancellation and well beyond the stated window.
We're a small, family-run business, and when inventory isn't returned, we have to replace it out of pocket to keep the service available for other subscribers. That's why we're unable to reverse the charge once it's been applied — those funds have already gone toward replacing the sets.
We take communication seriously and believe we were transparent about our policies at every step. That said, we're always looking for ways to improve. We hope your family continues to enjoy building together!

Update: I got a nice informative email from brickdrop right after I posted this review. I understand the reasons now and am good with the setup .
I like the price and the fact that the sets are reused instead of gathering dust in someone’s attic after they’re built. The shipping was efficient. However, I find the packaging of the actual bricks frustrating. I’m doing a 6000 piece set and I have to go through hundreds of blocks each time I need to find a specific one, which means the project is going to take much longer than it should. Also, my very first set was missing four pieces.

Hey Julie, we totally understand the feedback. We hope to one day bag sets the same way they ship new in box. But for right now we are limited to bagging by color due to several constraints. Really appreciate the feedback. I know it's a compromise, but it helps us ensure our price point. As far as missing pieces, we have been having this a lot with new sets that we ship the first time. We typically have extras and can ship them out ASAP. We started changing our processes and reviewing new sets as well before sending, to ensure all pieces are present.
Recieved my first months order, product and experience was beyond expectations. Will be continuing my subscription and expect great things in the future.
