Brickx makes it extremely easy to invest.
Brickx makes it extremely easy to invest. I feel that the actual investment in PROPERTY, a visible thing, as opposed to stocks and shares, makes it a lot easier to invest in. At the age of 25 and struggling with my money, being able to put $100-200 a week into Brickx is not only investing in my future, but protecting my money. I'm an impulsive buyer. In a very bad way. Brickx has inadvertently made me cut back on unnecessary spending. Its been great.
The site is extremely easy to use. When I've wanted to find something on the site, its been effortless. Interface is well done and presented well which makes it all the better for the user. I've mentioned Brickx to a couple of family friends who are interested in using the site. All in all, a great site.

Great way to invest in the real estate sector - particular for all those wanting to invest in property but may not have large sums of capital to invest up front.
It also provides the ability to spread your risk across different states etc.

Great idea - Needs some process improvement
The idea itself is great, however i have recently come to hear that it will take me 3 months get my tax statement from BrickX.
Basically my entire tax return is being delayed by a $3 value that i received as a payment from this.

I’ve been with BRICKX for approximately…
I’ve been with BRICKX for approximately 2 months and have bought about a dozen bricks. My purchases so far have proven fruitful. If your not in a hurry and don’t have a lot of cash to spare say $100 per fortnight then definitely get on board and buy a brick. You can even sell the bricks if you feel they aren’t raising to your expectations.( just wait until they go back into the green profit margin if they went below. And don’t panic sell) Some off my purchases fell into the red and I stayed patient and now I’m looking at 4% interest on some off them. I like the whole idea and highly recommend this company. I wish I was 21 again.

Facts to know about Brickx before investing
After searching all the information and review, I think investors need to know some fact:
- Yes, it is for accessible and affordable to property for low-income investors, however, you are not investing in the real market as the number of properties available on the platform is limited;
- The property market will never have sufficient liquidity like equities, no matter you are investing directly or indirectly unless you are only investing in the equity of the company who manages or invests in property;
- This product works just like an SMA but purely in property, so you will never own a whole property yourself of course as there is a restriction of the maximum ownership for each brick you can invest, that probably to protect the trust itself so it can have the dominant ownership and control over the properties available;
- In addition, the value of the properties trading on the platform will never reflect the true value itself as this will be determined by the bidding/quoting price from seller and buyer, which means the supply and demand on the platform, given such a small population of users onboard comparing to the investors in the whole property market.
Therefore, it is not really ideal for long-term serious investors unless you have a financial professional at side to manage the portfolio for you. However, it can be a very good learning experience for speculators or people who want to learn to trade and starts from a property market.

Recently BRICKX introduced new feature…
Recently BRICKX introduced new feature "price alerts". This is a terrible feature for us, the seriously long term investors!!!
I have been investing lots of money into this site and now just wanna leave it. This feature discourages long term investors, giving benefits for those only jump in to get the lowest prices when being alerted. It destroys the fair investing environment and wastes all of our effort as long term investors. We watch the site frequently but the best deal always come to the spectators's hands, just because we didn't or couldn't log into the site when they alerted the lowest prices.
I have been trusted this site before, and thought that we could make our long term investment here by having a portfolio of various investment properties. I was wrong coz the site itself distroyed the healthy investing environment it created by giving alerts to people who might never go to the site except when the alerts come out. Furthermore, this induce people to seek for the short term benefits (although before they set up a long term goal), while housing market should be medium to long term investments.
It's unfair. Totally unfair to us, the long term investors.
Will never buy again as I know regardless of how much time and effort I spent to this site, I always make a loss since the low prices were given for those spectators.
Innovation is not always pleasant.

Great concept for long term property investing. Teaches principles of property investing, information readily available and easy to find. Expecting to see more opportunity for growth with more investors on board.

Its a legitmate site where you can make off $750 investment around $0.75 per month and then the medium sell price is BULLSH$T.
7 days. took me 7 days to sell at cost price i mean i made nothing of it nothing lost money actually because of the fees i had to pay!
Unless you have 50K to invest, use it as a bank account. unless the property market crashes real bad your money in them houses isnt bad, but you WONT MAKE MONEY.
Someone with 50k to invest should go smarter then making if you are lucky $500 a month i mean $50k for $500 every month?
Reply to message: be honest about what is actually happening with the website.. telling people 2 years ago it took 10 hours avg. Now unless you want to lose money you cannot sell your bricks anywhere near this medium time.

very good concept but bricks are sold at undervalue
very good concept but bricks are sold in undervalue and when you hold it keeps going low as the new seller quote lower price and transaction fees charge at buying and selling, overall you won't make good money
