Disappointed after such great reviews

Please be aware that after placing my review (below) Brivon Care was quick to contact me to advise that they had taken my concerns very seriously and would be reviewing these issues immediately. As a result I have confidence that they will efficiently address my concerns and ensure a better service for future/existing clients.

Additional charges were not clearly explained during initial enquiry, in particular carers' travel charges. During our time using Brivon's services we had a carer who would work 3 weeks on and one week off but once we appointed her we were advised she would be taking a 5-6 week break. However she was very pleasant and efficient in her work most of the time. We had 2 different cover carers but sadly they were both seriously wanting. When I advised Brivon that it didn't work out with the first carer they did not ask for any feedback which made me feel they were not interested in the standards of the carer they are offering. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for updating your review to acknowledge our efforts to address your concerns.

We would also like to provide some clarity regarding travel expenses. As outlined in our service agreement, travel allowances apply whenever a carer travels to begin a placement. This includes when a new carer starts or when an existing carer takes a break or finishes their placement and another carer travels to take over. The travel allowance helps cover the incoming carer’s journey to the family’s home, ensuring they are not left out of pocket. These are not recurring weekly charges but only apply when a carer travels to commence or resume a placement.

We appreciate that this may not have been entirely clear initially. While these arrangements are included in our service agreement, we have taken your feedback on board and will be making the travel allowance terms more prominent in our contracts and communications moving forward, ensuring families have a clear understanding of when these charges apply.

As discussed, we have also refunded the carer's travel expense as a gesture of goodwill. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us strengthen our processes and improve the experience for the families we support.

We are pleased that we had the opportunity to speak with you directly and address your concerns, and we genuinely appreciate your acknowledgement of our efforts.

Great Support

Great Support, Just Slightly Paced
I’ve been working as a live-in carer with Brivon for 3 weeks now, and overall I’m very pleased with my experience so far. They’ve provided me with good client opportunities that match my skills and preferences perfectly, which has been a huge help for my self-employed work. Whenever I’ve had questions or run into any issues during placements, the team has stepped in to help resolve things quickly and professionally – I really appreciate having that reliable support behind me.

If I had to note one area for improvement, it’s that responses to queries can sometimes be a little slow, and it can take a short while to get updates or confirmations. That said, once they do get back to me, it is handled.

For anyone looking for a care agency that offers solid placement options and genuine, helpful support, I’d definitely recommend Brivon. A very positive start, and I look forward to continuing working with them!

I would like to share my positive experience with Brivon Care. From the beginning, the team has been professional, friendly, and responsive. The service provided was efficient, and I appreciated the clear communication and support throughout the process.

Constant reassuring phone contact and excellent care
