The pastry was not very nice at all and very hard. It was very difficult to get the pie out of the foil. Generally speaking this wasn't a positive experience.

Great pies, good offers sent out to customers too.

Signed up to be considered as a pie taster, at Brockleby's invitation. Received absolutely no information about tasting, just constant emails trying to sell me pies; very underhand!

I contacted Jay as requested, who offered me a load of waffle and free pies, if I would remove my review. I did NOT take Jay up on his offer, as I despise such attempts at bribery and it simply underlined my initial reservations.

The pies were well packed, but the delivery wasn’t great as the driver didn’t leave it in the safe place and had turned it on its side so some of the pies were damaged. The pies were tasty but I didn’t think they were good value for money.

Delicious pies. The crust is splendidly short and buttery, thin enough to be easy to eat, but thick enough to hold the contents. The top is crisp and the sides and bottom soft. A perfect combination. The fillings are also amazing - full of flavour and meat, and filling the pie properly. So far I have tried the Maharaja Chicken (a trial receipt which I hope becomes a regular fixture) and the Cluck-a-Berry (ignore the silly name, it is really good!). These pies are better than anything I have ever found in a supermarket (or even a Farmer's Market near London) and are very good value. Highly recommended!

Great quality, taste and value as always. Delivered with care. Packaging excellent and like the prepaid envelope to return the wool. Other sellers using wool should copy this.

The pies arrived very well packaged in wool insulation and ice packs.
The pies were individually packaged in boxes and placed into freezer. We cooked Apple Pie which was full of filling and very delicious when eaten, also we cooked the Snake & Pygmy Pie which again was well filled with ingredients and was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to the other 7 Pies, I ordered.

Just eaten the Santa’s Reindeer Pie. We bought it at Banbury Christmas Fayre and put it in freezer. It was delicious. The pastry was melt in the mouth and the filling perfectly seasoned. So glad you came to Banbury despite the awful weather.

Pies are truly delicious, delivery was spot on, keep up the good work

We like the pies as the pastry is not too thick and there’s plenty of meat in them. They cook very well in the air fryer as well.
