I booked an "All Inclusive Holiday" for…
I booked an "All Inclusive Holiday" for 2 adults and 2 children. I received no confirmation but could see on banking 365 that the amount was in progress to leave my account. I rang Budget Travel, I could not get through to the department I needed to speak with. I left a voice message and called back shortly after. I got through to yet another department. I was offered a quote €188.00 more expensive. I rang back Budget Travel, and reluctantly agreed to a compromise of €92.00 additional to what I had previously agreed to pay. I now see that it has decreased by €27.00 to the original price I had seen over the weekend. This price had reduced the morning I had booked, only to be charged extra after ringing to request a confirmation. The staff I dealt with was pleasant however it was not the nicest of booking experiences.

We regret to receive your 2 star review, however we work off a live booking system and at the time of making your booking your holiday price increased so your booking did not confirm. We contacted you to advise of this and gave you the option of voiding your payment or paying the price increase and you opted to pay the increase. We apologise for all inconveniences caused but due to high demand for holidays at this time pricing can be volatile.

Hotel we have booked has building work…
Hotel we have booked has building work going on and the main pool and snack bar are closed but we were never told this when booking
Budget travel say tough nothing they can do !!!!!
Looking for us to pay over €500 to move hotels shocking customer service we should have been told their would be construction going on and we wouldn’t have booked this hotel
No compensation to change hotels for free or option for a refund

Very helpful staff
I booked a package holiday with budget travel. The price worked out cheaper than booking flights and accommodation separately. Through my own fault I picked accommodation with no pool. I contacted budget travel and was put through to Nicola. She was so helpful and patient and sent me on quotes for different hotels that I was interested in. Thank you Nicola. Have traveled with budget travel a few times and always hassle free.

The responder to my call today did not know that Ryanair charges for printing boarding passes. I had to double check with her as to my knowledge RyanAir has been charging for the boarding passes for almost a year
