The company we good before the GetGround acquisition. I bought 3 properties off plan from them and were unsatisfied with the management of my cases since the acquisition.

In the first 2 property from the same developer, our mortgage brokers were denied valuation access, with them subsequently serving notice to complete. When the loan could not be processed in time, the developers threatened to rescind and forfeit my deposit on both units. BuyAssociation did not do a single thing to help buyers. There were about 15+ other buyer who were affected. It felt almost as if they were in it together with the developers. The total loss here was almost GBP170,000.

On my third purchase, I was promised a cashback after exchanging and paying a 20% deposit, which was due 14 days after I made full payment. The cashback never came. When I raised an invoice, they ignored me for more than 8 weeks. I have not heard anything from them up till now.

Do not trust this company, I am seeking legal method to recover what I am owed. These folks lack the duty of care for their customers.

Great engagement when it came to selling and bagging their sales commissions.

However, provided incorrect & illegal SDLT advice, appalling sales progression customer care (missed appointment with valuers), lack of accountability on holding the developer to account on poor build quality and delays, snagging issues, compensation.

Bought 2 units and both significantly down valued causing to financial burden and significant stress. Take anything the sales agent says with a pinch of salt.
