Terrible Terrible service

Terrible Terrible service. We asked for a review of our services and was told they need to find the right person for us to speak to, after chasing for 3 months with no response. We decided to leave, as part of the migration process Bytes needs to give the new provided approval for us to leave. It is 6 weeks now and they still haven't given approval. They are charging us a huge sum of money each month, which we just need to move away. It feels like we are held to ransom

Terrible service, avoid

Terrible service, lack of concern for technical issues. It has cost me time and money to deal with this company and I am completely locked in. A nearly new laptop broke, under a full service agreement. It took weeks for anyone to take us seriously or listen to our concerns. I couldn't carry out my job for three weeks. I was told to purchase an item to try and fix the laptop myself, I didn't know how, then I was told I wasn't allowed to put anything in the machine and that I'd been told to purchase the equipment incorrectly. This is all whilst paying for the monthly service and support plan. When I was billed for support (even for the three weeks I didn't even have a laptop) I refused to pay it. I then received an email telling me they would make it impossible for me to cancel my direct debit. After calling many different departments I was graciously given a loan machine whilst they tried to fix the broken laptop. When they couldn't fix the laptop (which was almost box fresh) a 'refurbished machine' has been ordered for me. Still no idea where that is. Still paying for service and no-one cares at all.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible, will do everything I can to not buy anything through them anymore.

Worst customer service I have ever encounter.

Licenses expire, you have to chase every single purchase, send many emails, ask many times, is such a waste of time and so much effort to just buy anything that it seems they are doing you a favor.

Sorry that the previous respondent didn’t get the service they wanted there is always good and bad in every company, large or small.

But I’ll throw you a ball from left field about Bytes.co.uk
They are a company based in Leatherhead for the last 7ish years and like most businesses during the pandemic they worked from home.
What makes Bytes a company that you do want to work with is how they dealt with lockdown, furlough etc.
For their staff that could work from home, work from home was the remit.
For those that needed to go to the office for headspace to work, then that was a very well policed option with employee safety foremost.

I was privileged to witness how quickly Bytes reacted by making an available space for staff to continue to be safely effective and help the rest of the world deal with this pandemic.
They continue today by assisting me and other local small businesses with radical revenue ideas that help local traders to continue to function.

Bytes is very much one of the good ones.

I am lucky to be one of their suppliers.

Awful

Awful company all round, they will try to sell you all sorts of random services that do not justify the original reason you contacted them. They just want your money. Services such as SAM amongst others is just a simple install of SNOW software. Utter nonsense. !
