Beware of this company they are not honest anymore and won’t help I only put 1275 klm on my van sence I bought it last year I set the trip meter when I first got the van I told them that but it like I need the app why do I need the app if I have a black box plugged in reading my klm which their not even checking so I’m getting rid of the crocked ripoff company

I wish I could pick three different levels of service for CAA
A scale from 0 to 10 with 10 being the best.
0 for your automated answering service
10 for real person answering the phone and getting me help
And finally a 10 plus for your operator that took care of me.
1) A absolute zero for your automated AI answering service when I called them originally. Whoever the person or committee that came up with this for customer needs to go. You need live agents not machines. I could not get through to them where etc. I spoke slow and concise. Only after saying live agent loudly a few times did I get to speak to a live person. It’s ludicrous this system.
2) A 10 for your live agent Letty for answering my call finally after your AI no live agent from hell.
Very helpful and got my service issue dealt with promptly. She and the tow truck driver that helped me are the only reason why I have not immediately cancelled my CAA membership and went to another provider.
Get rid of the automated AI response.
3). 10 plus for the tow truck driver Ralph from your authorized agent from Cycle transport towing. He got there quickly (thank you Letty ) and had the spare put on for me to get it to the dealership and my car is fixed and good to go.

Left without assistance with my car partially on a busy road.
I was left waiting for two hours despite the fact that my car was partially on the busy 80 km road on the other side of a hill and partially on the road! The time got longer and longer! Pathetic.
Tried caa travel agency
Tried caa travel agency, I'm curious to know if it's volunteer work because if they are getting paid they are getting paid to do absolutely nothing, the help is so bad that we were basically going backwards, they take several days to reach back and when they do it's to repeat the same information we gave them. Went to someone else and got non stop help. Would never use caa travel
Horrible service
Called CAA this morning to have my vehicle towed to my mechanic but because it wasn't recognized in their system they refused and told me that I was asking to have CAA as a personal transportation company. I am the owner of the building where the repairs are done and am outraged at the lack of customer service and care. What is the point of having the membership for when my car breaks down if they won't help me?
Disgusting
Disgusting, a car broke down in front of my house, we helped them get the car out of the middle of the road. 3.5 hours later we sit and wait with no tow truck in sight. This is absolutely pathetic.
CAA Mobile App - Not user friendly
I spoke with a CAA rep who said I should download the app on my device in order to have a digital card. Have you tried downloading using your mobile device? First of all, when you sign up, it needs to verify your email address..as soon as you go into your email, the CAA registration site goes back to the start where you need to reenter in the membership #, your last name and email address. Then when you finally figure out you need to use a computer to access your email for the code, it then asks to verify your mobile #, which when using the same phone as you are registering for the app, it throws you back to the beginning of the registration. So now you have to use a separate phone to receive the phone code. Not an easy mobile app for installation :(
scammers!!!!!...stay away!!
I put in a claim 4 months ago and to date nothing has been done....ive been calling the adjuster for 4 weeks ow and not a single response. We are now contacting the FRSA and courts. Stay away from these scammers....they also tried to deny my claim stating it was comprehensive and not collision when i got into the accident.

well, I have had very excellent service when I needed a tow within town. However, when I decided to UPGRADE my membership online, things went horribly wrong. They deleted all online accounts at some point so when I called, the weirdo CSA told me I had to re-join (online). When I attempted to do that, I encountered a red banner which read:

Frustrating experience. I do NOT recommend this company. Since there are zero other options, I will have to jump through all of their hoops and hope that I get the membership level that I need ... I am not optimistic. From an administrative standpoint, this is a crap company. Just saying.

service has gone downhill fast
service has gone downhill fast, battery booster team came and left without checking battery, then says he is going to follow up, and no call, left waiting in the dust with my dead battery.
Inadequate prices
They offered me a quote of $730 for a new Tiguan. I have a full G license, a clean record, no fines, and have been driving in Canada for several years. This is a simply outrageous price!
Experience with CAA
An Iranian man came to tow my car . He asked if I had a spare tire, and I said yes. Then he told me to take it out "fast" and asked me to grab the toolbox from his truck. He said, “Bring the toolbox,” in a tone that sounded more like a command than a request. Honestly, he came across as pretty arrogant.
Incompetence
deserve no reviews. Tried to obtain house and car insurance. Agent told me I need an esc certificate bc of aluminum wiring in the home. People, you cannot obtain this certificate UNTIL you own the home. So after hours on the phone and this incompetent agent knew full well, after hiring an electrician, he would not offer this certificate until we owned the home and CAA would not give us coverage. Suggested we get insurance through another company and then we could move over to them at another time. I WOULDNT BUY PET INSURANCE THROUGH CAA. INCOMPETENCE AT ITS HIGHEST. One agent tried to tell me she didn’t deserve to listen to my complaints bc it wasn’t her fault, and after telling her it was her job, bc one cannot ever speak to the same agent ever again. If I could give it 0 stars I would . Their customer service is absolutely horrible . My daughter in law is stranded in London with a flat tire . We are out of the city and are unable to be there I spoke to a representative who told me they can make a one time exception and then decided that they are not going to . The supervisor Anthony was worse than the customer service representative. He was condescending and rude and didn’t assist anyone and basically told me sorry it’s your problem and we can’t help you , Absolutely ridiculous to leave a girl stranded alone and refusing to help!!!
dont buy CAA insurance
Bought insurance through CAA- they never intended to pay the claim. Dragged it out and was unable to communicate with them and they never answered emails or communicated even after escalation. No customer service.
Gave up, finally paid local tow company
My wife and I have been members for over 20 years. Today we actually had to use CAA, and request a tow. I tried calling and could not reach a human, but it sent me a link to click to confirm my location. The link showed a completely wrong city, and I was out in the country (not sure of address). Could not find an address, could not reach anyone at CAA. Tried in stalling the CAA app, but it requires a password reset, which pops up a browser window to send me a code by text, and when I switch to view the code the browser automatically closes. Just going around in circles for half an hour! Finally went walking for 20 minutes and came upon a small garage with a tow truck. I just paid them to tow my car. What a disaster. Why have I been paying CAA for years when I can't even get a tow when I need it!

Arrives and driver wants cash says supervisor will call me to verify and doesn't call, called into CAA and the female representative was apologetic but the male one was so rude and said there was no supervisor, still haven't returned my call and given me the money back ir put it towards another membership.

Vehicle SB Towing form Dorchester shows up with no CAA markings and refuses to tow and says a van or any vehicle with a black plate is against policy. More likely its 4:40 and want to get home vs the hour tow out of town. Worst customer service follow up. Thankfully new cars come with their own roadside. CAA usefulness is done. Yellow Pages has more value
