As far as tips to improve the service, it might help to use some sort of project management tool or software to post the files, comment on items, track changes and history to review. It can't be too complicated. A simple tool can go a long way.

I hired Cadcrowd to provide me a 3d mockup for my invention The Better Styler. I have several companies who have expressed interest in partnering with me but all of them wanted CAD drawings. After reaching out to several companies in China, they all told me the cost for this would be $8,000 to $10,000. I was discouraged because that didn't include the cost to make the prototype. I found Cadcrowd while looking for a local designer. I was gobsmacked when they told me the price. It was far less than China but I wondered if the quality would be the same. I am happy to report in exactly one week's time I had 2d drawings, Captures and a 3d stp file. The detailing was amazing and I know manufacturers can take these drawings and make the product.
