Until April 2026, everything was fine.
I was a customer of Calibour.com for some time and had a VPS with a BGP session.
At the beginning, everything was great and outages were rare.
At the end of April or beginning of May, they migrated to new systems and introduced a new customer control panel. From that point on, the problems started to increase.
The VPS became unreachable more often, and the control panel was not really fully functional either. For that, I received a €5 credit.
The route reflectors for the BGP sessions were removed without any prior announcement or notification. As a replacement, two new reflectors were provided, but they apparently were not configured correctly.
I was only able to receive IPv4 routes from one of the route reflectors. The second one did not export a single IPv4 route. IPv6 routes were not exported by either of the two hosts.
After I opened a support ticket, the issue with the IPv4 routes was fixed, but the issue with the IPv6 routes was not. When I replied to the ticket again, explaining that I still did not receive any IPv6 routes despite using import=all, the ticket was simply closed without any response.
In the control panel, the VPS assigned to me, including the BGP sessions, was removed. There was no feedback about this either.
Even though my project is only a hobby project, it is still difficult to understand why a ticket would simply be closed without any reply and why access to the booked services would then no longer be possible in the control panel.
