I knew after one session that an AI chatbot was not going to serve my needs. Calmio was good about issuing a refund.
The app is cool. Just wish I could use it from my laptop. Texting my thoughts isn't as fast as typing them.. Anyway. The app does alot of good thought and has the typical ai agrreability and feel good words. I think it's been helpful. I didn't need it for a longer time, so I didn't renew. There was a hiccup in the system and I notified the support peoplss. They immediately made the correction .. they showed top notch customer support. I appreciate that. My issue was not ignored and handled with expediency.
The app itself is very basic with material that felt too AI-generated for my liking. I signed up for a week and at the end of the week went to cancel, but they had already charged my card. I emailed them for a refund and got an AI answer, so I emailed again and told them I was unhappy with their product and wanted a refund per their "14-day money back guarantee." Emma responded to me and let me know that "the refund policy covers only the initial payment, and renewal charges are not typically eligible." However, she understood my situation and processed the refund. So, while I didn't prefer the app, the customer service went beyond my expectations, which is rare these days!
I was really disappointed with this app. The lessons are extremely short and often ask you to take action without giving enough context or explanation about why that action matters. It feels overly condensed—like it was generated quickly and stripped down to the point where it loses clarity and usefulness.
For the price, there just isn’t enough depth, guidance, or meaningful content. Instead of focusing on delivering value, it feels like more effort went into upselling additional features than actually building a helpful product.
The AI chat feature didn’t work for me at all—it just stayed stuck on loading dots, which made it completely unusable. On top of that, their refund policy requires you to use the app for a certain period of time, which feels misleading. Definitely something to be aware of before purchasing.
Overall, this felt like a money grab. I’d much rather spend money on an app that actually provides clear insights and guidance. I’m also annoyed that they advertise 4.9/5 trust pilot rating on their ad and then when you come look its 3.9 - super shady
Emma Lawson was a terrific customer service rep that I recently dealt with. She was courteous , quick to respond and helped resolve my question. Truly appreciated in this day and age!
I don’t know what Jamie (1 star on 3/14/26 is talking about). I had inadvertently had made a typo when entering my email during sign up and, consequently, couldn’t sign in. I was able to send a message about my trouble signing in, which was answered by Emma via email. She had already figured out the problem, corrected it and all is good.

I found the app wasn't right for me, customer service was very good with communication and stayed true to their terms and conditions.
I did not purchase this stupid set up. Buyers beware. I actually believed there is somebody out there that really cares about and want to help people in trouble. I should have known better. I should have trusted my instincts. If it seems to good to be true it usually is. 2 red flags. You can’t send them an email. There is absolutely no help option. They are scammers that just want your money. It’s always about the money. I went all through the questions only to find my self at a payment wall. This should clearly be stated UP FRONT not snuck in at the end. It’s BAIT that you will believe their bullshit and Buy BUY BUY SELL SELL SELL Watch out. I stumbled onto this site off a reels on Facebook. 😡

The app was very simple to use and the structure was easy to follow. The Chat feature was also great when you needed to communicate during difficult times! Thank you!
Even though I understand I'm talking with an AI, it really helps me a lot. I don't have a lot of people to lean on and calmio is always there to listen and support. I got really great advice and I actually see my mood improving daily.
I used Calmio to cut out alco from my life. I was struggling with alco addiction for 4 years, and tried many different therapies.

It sounds good in theory, but after paying and downloading it, it was not possible to log in and customer support didn’t respond. Likely a scam and money grab for a non-existent app.

Waste of time. You can get the same thing from ChatGPT or the same.
When I requested a refund on (day 2) their 14 day guarantee refund policy this is what I got;

Calmio offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on the initial subscription, provided the following conditions are met:
The refund request is made within 14 days of the initial purchase
The app meets the minimum usage requirement, which is based on therapeutic guidance developed with psychologists:
Weekly plan: the app must be used on at least 4 separate days, and the request must be made within 7 days
Monthly or longer plans: the app must be used on at least 7 separate days
If these criteria are met, the refund can be issued. If the minimum usage requirement is not met, a refund is unfortunately not available under the policy.

And Calmio delivers what I actually needed.
It's a really nice app, feels like taking a small break from the noise of the day.
