Great event for a corporate day out - very hospitable and easy to organise. The team were lovely and very insightful. Would recommend for a fun day out.

My daughter had a great time at the Introduction to Rowing week course. Enthusiastic and friendly teachers, great group of other kids - and came home with a real sense of confidence in being on the water!

I had a really fun day rowing with Omar and the team. They made it very welcoming and inclusive and we were out on the water within half an hour of arriving. Excellent fun and I will definitely be back for more!

As someone who has already done a bit of rowing before, I found the course a fantastic experience and the instructors excellent. It really improved my rowing ability. I enjoyed the fact that we could spend time on both quads and eight-person boats, so we got the experience with two types of boats. I am now inspired to and will join a club.

My son really enjoyed the week, learned lots and is now looking for a club to join in our local area. Definitely worth it just wish the sessions were longer

We had an excellent experience with the Cambridge rowing session as a team. The whole event was exceptionally well organised from start to finish, with clear instruction, great communication, and a welcoming atmosphere that made everyone feel involved, regardless of experience. It was a fantastic team-building activity that challenged us to work together, communicate effectively, and have plenty of fun along the way. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to any team looking for a unique and engaging team-building experience.

I encouraged my daughter to try the junior programme, and it was a truly memorable experience for her. She is now very keen to continue her rowing through regular practice and a club membership. I believe this could be a game-changing opportunity for her, paving the way to broaden her horizons and shape her future interests.

We had a fantastic time at the Cambridge Rowing Experience. Omar, our instructor, took us very patiently every step on our way from training on the rowing machines to preparing the boat and ourselves until we finally proudly rowed up and down the river Cam. We can definitely recommend this activity - perfectly organized, great instructor and also very nice fellow rowers! Thank you, Omar and team!

What a superb experience! The best way to experience Cambridge. The teaching was superb. I had never been in a boat before and couldn’t believe how quickly I picked it up.

Four of us arrived at the boathouse to be greeted by our instructor who, from the start made us very welcome and put us at ease.
Although I sail and canoe I have never rowed an eight. We were apprehensive but our instructor put us at ease both in the gym and on the water. I am 84 years old and will be returning to take part in further sessions.
We were three generations 'all in the same boat' together with four others two of which were from the USA. GREAT FUN

I had the pleasure of attending the Cambridge Rowing Experience and getting to know about all things rowing! The whole session was extremely immersive and Omar & his team were incredible on the day at explaining everything in a way that made it simple and enjoyable. I booked a rowing taster day for me and my teenage daughter and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish.

We were in a group of eight people and none of us had rowed before, some people came in pairs, others by themselves. We began with a short introduction to the sport and spent half an hour on a rowing machine after being taught the basic technique.

Our coach made everything really simple and didn’t bamboozle us with rowing jargon which was a relief for our first outing. From there we took an eight out onto the river after some tutoring riverside and put what he told us into practice on the water.

Clear coaching, plenty of patience, and a good sense of humour from everyone throughout meant we were soon rowing down the river together.

We made a lot of progress in a short space of time, and it’s a really fun way to spend a couple of hours on the River Cam. Be warned - you might come away with the rowing bug.

The whole rowing experience was great! Our cox instruction was simple and easy to follow. Me and my daughter truly enjoyed from start to finish!

We booked our company spring event with Omar and unfortunately the day we booked the weather was just awful, it was too dangerous to row so Omar and his team still managed to make our experience great and we have been invited back to row on the river which we plan to do this summer, I would 100% recommend this if you are looking for a corporate event for your staff.
