always easy to work with. make changes to policy the same day, and the price is well over half less than we were paying with old carrier.

We have been with them for 3 years and unlike our previous company we have not had a yearly rate increase.

I had a case filed against me

I had a case filed against me
My insurance agent forgot to include my Business name in my
malpractice coverage as it should have been done. I did not have any problem with previous insurance.
Capson refused to include my Practice name in the coverage.
So I have to hire another lawyer to cover my insurance
It is the agent's and Capson's fault
I am paying for it

Thank you for taking the time to provide Capson with a review. Whenever there is negative or comment regarding our products or services the executive management team immediately begins an internal fact finding probe regarding the circumstances and not only ways to remedy the situation, but also to learn from the experience in order to improve and better serve our physician customer base.

Based on your comments, you are obviously less than amazed with Capson's performance and that is not in line with our purpose, values, or company wide commitment to provide extraordinary service. After reviewing the details of what you detail in your review, it appears that there was an obvious breakdown in the communication chain from the very beginning including your application process. It appears that you overlooked adding your business name on your application and only included your personal name. Once the application was filed for underwriting approval with your signature, they would have no way of knowing that you also wanted to include you business name on the policy. Please do not think that anyone is placing blame here, your broker should have caught the oversight before they asked for your signature. According to the internal report I gathered, it is documented that your business name was immediately added to the policy and was back dated to rectify the omission that occurred in the application process. The incident that you reference above did not occur at your office location affiliated with the business name, so therefore we are confused by your opinion that Capson is at fault for your very unfortunate circumstance. We fully understand the stress and angst of having to go through the long and distracting litigation process and we are truly sympathetic to your situation. Good service

Rapid response to a notice of intent to file a claim. My wishes to fight it were honored and the suit ended up being dismissed. I’m glad we didn’t rush to settle.
