NOT impressive so far
Pretty impressive so far! Let's see the results and how effective this is...
Its unfortunate that I am editing this review as Resume.io did not email a confirmation at the end of my 7 day trial and advise me that I would be charged. They did not allow me to chose to cancel and charged me although I have already requested to cancel the subscription. Apparently the email response I received is that I would need to cancel this before the end of the 7 days. I do believe that legally they would need to clearly advise this in the terms of the agreement. This does not create a good impression of this service, or encourage customers to return.

Absolutely waste of money
Absolutely waste of money! I cannot believe I paid $300+ for the garbage I was given. The Career.io platform is a total joke. They are giving me jobs such as "pediatrician" when I am looking for a role in L&D!!!

Great, user friendly, lots of templates. Wish it was more MS Word friendly and more templates supported.
Being able to customise templates would also help.

I’ve cancelled my subscription the same day of my 2.95 7-day trial subscription. I don’t need this service at all. But I was charged 25.95 without authorizing. And the helpdesk said “ I checked your account and cancelled the active subscription. Please note that you initiated the cancellation, but did not completed it in the system—it was marked as pending.” well, I was sure that I clicked through the cancellation, but now they requested a cancellation confirmation email which I never received….I wish I made a screenshot. This is a scam.

Awful support and refund policy
They make you jump through hoops to cancel your subscription, and are incredibly misleading in locking anything you create behind a paywall.
My trial moved into the monthly subscription with no email reminder, and I was billed £19.95.
I immediately contacted their support team on day 1 of the renewal, told them I had not used or accessed the product in over a week, and wanted a refund for the full month ahead. I was polite and they could clearly see I hadn’t used the product.
As other reviewers have stated, their support team is awful, unforgiving and unhelpful. They just point you at the small print and make no acknowledgement that their cancellation and refund policy is awful.
Have a good look at the 5* reviews, they are incredibly vague and clearly paid or written by some AI tool.
Don’t use this company.
