Carla Gebhard Designs Avis

A totally relaxing informative session at Rheged. I’ve booked for the Christmas cards workshop in December and I’m bringing a friend! I enjoyed the process so much. Thank you for your encouragement and easy style.

I went to Carla’s workshop on Sunday at Rheged
It was amazing what a talented lady
Both Carla and her mum were brilliant hosts
I enjoyed learning the art of water colour painting
If anyone out there gets chance to attend one you won’t be disappointed x

This was my second workshop with Carla Gebbard and it was just as enjoyable as the first. She is a lovely tutor, encouraging, non judgemental and happy to advise and help.
A lovely way to spend a morning.
Thank you.

What a wonderful morning learning new techniques in watercolour. Carla made this experience everything I'd hoped for and more ... relaxed, informative, inspiring, peaceful and therapeutic. I've been painting today, using what I learned, instead of the 'chores' I had planned ... a much more joyful way to spend my day! Thank you Carla, and the beautiful Hare Hill Barn, for a really lovely day.

I really enjoyed Carla's workshop. It was very well structured and well paced. Carla demonstrated different techniques and gave us lots of time to practice. It was my first time using watercolour and I was delighted with what I managed to achieve in the time. I'm now keen to learn more!

I recently did a watercolour workshop with Carla, my first time with watercolours and I really enjoyed it. The lesson went along at just the right pace for beginners and the time flashed by too quickly. I've already booked for the next one! Thanks to Carla and her mum x

A super workshop. Carla is a great tutor, showing techniques and allowing time to explore. Really pleased with the outcome.

What a lovely afternoon at Carla’s workshop. She made us all feel comfortable and explained the watercolour techniques simply making it a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend attending one of her workshops, I look forward to the next one.

Had a wonderful afternoon with Carla, she was very patient with a couple of novices and what we produced was way better than we expected. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to give watercolours a go. Thank you Carla, (the coffee & cakes were lovely too)

My grandaughter and I had a lovely relaxing time at Carla's workshop. We learned some new techniques in watercolour painting and gained confidence in our own ability. We would highly recommend giving it a go and would love to do it again
Thank you Carla

During my private workshop today I learnt so much about techniques, use of colours and spacing. Carla's calm nature created a feeling of tranquility and her encouraging way makes her an excellent tutor, I would thoroughly recommend this workshop.

Lovely experience with Carla in her great little studio.
Nice tray bake and tea too!
Highly recommend

As a complete beginner, I had no expectations of the art I would produce. But with Carla’s thoughtful guidance, my friends and I not only enjoyed the experience but felt so encouraged by Carla and the paintings we created that we are all inspired to continue independently. I highly recommend and look forward to next time!

Carla’s natural ability to put people at ease who may feel they can paint.
Naturally friendly and relaxing

What a relaxing art session.
My daughter and I loved our time with Carla who was friendly, encouraging and patient.
We almost certainly will return.
A wonderful gift to yourself or a loved one.

Thanks again for prompt responses to my questions about personalizing this gift. It arrived promptly, just when expected.

I really enjoyed Carla’s watercolour workshop. She’s such a kind and inspiring teacher, and her love for art shines through in everything she does. The studio is so beautiful and peaceful, and the session was well organised and relaxed. I left feeling refreshed and inspired to keep painting. Highly recommend! 🎨 💕

Such a fabulous afternoon watercolour workshop with Carla. Her beautiful studio with soft background music was so calming. Myself and two friends spent the afternoon making Christmas cards under Carla’s expert guidance. It was such a treat and would recommend it 100%.

I bought my sister a voucher for her birthday to join me for an afternoon sitting, on a watercolour workshop with Carla.
It was like a breath of fresh air! We both absolutely loved the afternoon. Carlas expertise, together with her beautiful persona , taught us so much in just a couple of hours.
Hoping to join Carla again soon for another session. Would 100% recommend if you’re considering.

Carla's relaxed and informative style made the workshop for me as a complete novice who has never been able to draw. Tips and techniques supported us all in producing some lovely pieces of work
