Absolutely terrible customer services

Absolutely terrible customer services. called a lier after they messed up my delivery address and I contacted the courier who confirmed this.. then ignored me as I asked for next day delivery due to their mix up and completely ignored and sent smarmy replies.

zero apology, no update on re sending the product to me or anything. absolute joke to be honest and won't be ordering again

AVOID WITH ALL COSTS!! Scammers

Returned a parcel to this company (which your expected to pay yourself by the way). Emailed the support email who kept ignoring my question if the parcel was received or not. All they wanted to know if I wanted a different size or store credit. Once I mentioned a refund into my bank they decided to stop replying to me.

This parcel was only being returned from Belfast to Newry , it was seen leaving the shop where I posted it from on CCTV and Royal Mail were able to prove it had been out for delivery with a regular driver of that route.

They won’t even respond to my emails.

Absolute scammers avoid with all costs

Extremely poor refund process - refuses to follow EU Consumer Law

I would like to share my very disappointing experience with Carpe Omnia Lifestyle, in the hope of warning other customers who are considering buying from this store.

On February 28th, 2025, I ordered 4 pairs of jeans through their website. I decided to return 2 of these items (both size 34) and followed their official return process exactly as instructed.

The returned items were delivered and signed for at their warehouse on March 13th, 2025, proven by tracking.

However, this is where the real problem began.

Despite being fully entitled to a monetary refund under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU (which gives consumers the right to a full refund within 14 days of a return being received), Carpe Omnia Lifestyle refused to refund me to my original payment method.

Instead, they insisted on only offering store credit because I had purchased the items with a discount — something that is completely against EU law for online purchases. Discounted items are not an exception to your legal right to a refund.

My efforts to resolve the issue:

I contacted them multiple times by email, clearly explaining my legal rights.

I provided all proof of return and payment.

They continued to claim that "refunds on discounted items are not possible" — which is misleading and false for EU consumers.

They delayed any response and processing for weeks — far beyond their own stated 15 working days return handling time.

As of today, despite clear legal obligations, I still have not received my refund.

The European Consumer Centre (ECC) Netherlands, who handle cross-border consumer disputes.

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) Ireland, to report this breach of EU consumer law.

My honest advice to other customers:

Be extremely cautious when ordering from Carpe Omnia Lifestyle.

If you are not 100% sure you want to keep your items — think twice.

Their refund policy is misleading and does not respect EU consumer rights.

Their customer service is slow, unhelpful, and dismissive of legal obligations.

Even after returning items within their rules, you may have to fight hard to get your money back.

I truly hope my experience helps other customers avoid going through the same frustrating process.

Don't waste your money guys

Don't waste your money guys, will be a lottery if you get your order. I've given up now chasing an order from 17/01/2024, they won't respond and customer service is non existent. I have tried email several times, the online eform on their website and their social media. Having to report as fraud via bank to get my money back

Abysmal

Mirroring the same comments as others. No customer service virtually if it isnt profit related. Needed threatened to give refund then they did not refund one of the items and since have ignored all messages. Going to the bank which is a chew on. Shame as the gear is good but they are a sham when it comes to people. Ill be spending my money elsewhere from now on. Suggest others do too

Sizing and Exchange process

I am writing this review following a simple and successful ordering and on time delivery process - 4 star worthy for that. However, since returning a number of items (at a cost to me of £16) for exchange due to size (tops are lovely quality and design but rather large/relaxed fit. Shame I ordered a Medium for my 38-40” chested son based on sizing guidelines and model sizes/photos. The tops I received actually measure 48” around chest - have photos to evidence), I’m now awaiting the 10-14 working day sign in to warehouse process clock to tick down - currently on day 10 before exchange can be processed/sent. The 2 star rating today is based on the non-response to polite emails to ask if things could be expedited due to the items being intended for Xmas. According to my tracking details, items were signed for 06/12/23. I’ll keep you posted as to the outcome but not looking hopeful for receiving exchange items before Xmas, if at all I’m now wondering 🤦🏻‍♀️

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. 24hr delivery took 7 days. Emailed to a response basically telling me to wait. No correspondence. I paid nearly £50 for pants and delivery. Their customer service is a disgrace and they simply do not respond and have no phone.

Don't bother asking for my email address, you already have it in the 7 ignored emails I sent.

I am going to report this to the trade standards office.

I did not receive my order and I was…

I did not receive my order and I was unable to get a refund. I have tried to contact them through email and their social platforms but they have simply ignored my messages. I have ended up losing £120 and I suggest no one to order from these guys.

Purchased a pair of XL cargos…

Purchased a pair of XL cargos…. Probably XL for 7 or 8 year olds….
Sent them back to be told I had been “awarded” a gift card as I purchased them in the sale ( I think it was £4 cheaper).
Pushed back on this and got a refund but only as I was going to open a dispute on PayPal…. If you’ve got legs like a stork lads you’re golden…if not AVOID!!

Avoid at all costs and go for a different brand.

Ordered 3 jeans in total, all of which were the same size on paper.

2 fit and the third was so small that it was blatantly mislabelled as the same size as the other two from their factory. I couldn't even close the button.

Spoke with their CS team who had zero confidence in their own products and they avoided replacing them, instead stating they would refund them in full when sent back.

It has been over a month since they got the jeans back and still response from the company. I've had to resort to a Paypal dispute to get my money back (which they also haven't responded to).

Avoid like the plague and go for a more reputable brand.

Joke company

I tried this company out over Black Friday sales, ordered several items to check for size.

Large and XL fit completely the same, poor quality!

and after chasing them for weeks for updates on my returns they’ve refused to refund to card claiming Black Friday purchases are gift card only due to being reduced.
