Placed an order at 21:45h on Thursday, and plates were delivered on Monday, brilliant.

Simple process and arrived within 4 days. Would use again.

I was looking to order a set up plates up with this company on their website and noticed that they had a ‘live’ countdown timer which clearly states “today’s dispatch deadline.”
Foolishly and once I had decided on the style of plate I wanted, I paid for an Express delivery service at £9.99 and went ahead and placed the order.
Today, as I went to check the order status and thinking that I would read the dispatch notification with a tracking number, I was gutted to see that there was no communication at all, other than a confirmation email of my order from yesterday.
After then emailing the company to find out what was going on, I received a very impersonal - almost automated - response back from one of their customer support advisors by the name of James who just copied and pasted all of their T&C’s which stated that “….WE DO NOT ADVERTISE, offer or guarantee same day dispatch or next day delivery.”
It’s a shame that this platform doesn’t allow the uploading of images as you would be able to clearly see that their ‘live’ countdown timer DOES in fact state “… TODAY’s dispatch deadline.” But apparently, the TODAY doesn’t actually mean TODAY!? In fact it was more than 24hrs later that I received a notification to tell me that my plates had been made.
If you ARE thinking of using this site for your number plate needs, then please bear in mind that the ‘live’ countdown timer that shows “today’s dispatch deadline” DOES NOT actually mean today’s dispatch deadline!
How you can advertise something that isn’t true is beyond me but to then back this up with an email stating that the company doesn’t advertise same day dispatch when the countdown timer clearly indicates how much time you have left for TODAY’S dispatch deadline is incomprehensible.
And to pre-empt any response from this company who will probably state that the cut off for same day dispatch orders is 14:00, I will reiterate…..you need to synch your live countdown timer to 14:00, which it isn’t.

Once again they failed to answer the phone or send the plates…..avoid!!! Scam!

Show plates sent,not what I ordered, not British standard plates, emailed company but no response. It is clear they do not want to engage in communication

THE REPLY BELOW IS UNTRUE, I TOOK SCREENSHOTS OF MY ORDER AND IT CLEARLY SHOWS I ORDERED LEGAL PLATES. JUST LOOK AT THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, ALL THESE PEOPLE CANNOT BE WRONG. THIS COMPANY NEED TO LOOK AT THEIR AUTOMATED SYSTEM.

Hello there! You designed your own custom plates, and we print exactly what you've created. When using our website's plate builder, this is one of the first decisions you make. You have the option to choose between legal or show plates, It is set to legal as default and has to be changed depending on your preference. which you must tick to confirm you are ok with this. Legal plates include all the relevant legal markings, Manufacturers name and postcode etc, Custom plates don’t, please note that we print directly from the design you provide us, so we don't have any prior knowledge of your specific preferences. Our printing process is automated, ensuring accuracy in reproducing your design. In your case, you've selected show plates.

Ordered a pair of plates which arrived promptly. However rear plate was cracked and unusable on delivery. Contacted by email same day and told a new plate was on its way. Now one month later still no replacement plate and no reply to multiple emails. Awful customer service.

Extremely poor quality- lasting 2 years before water leaked into the plate. Apparently it’s “due to the age of the plate”, and won’t be offered a replacement.

This company needs to massively improve. Don't fall for the countdown clock for next day delivery, they send them the day after the payment provider steps in. Zero contact from seller 3 messages unanswered just left in the dark and bought elsewhere.
Avoid this company if you want what you pay for.
Express delivery 10 days from order is an insult.
Sadly disappointed 😞

Order never received.
They did provide me with a tracking link, however the parcel was lost or damaged in transit.
They are not bothered picking up the phone nor reply to any emails!

I ordered a set of plates with the fixing pack and paid for priority delivery. I received an email within a day to advise that the plates were manufactured. Then another to advise that they had been despatched. Great, except not so great. EVRI lost the parcel so I contacted you to ask for assistance with chasing EVRI. I got a curt response from their Customer Support Advisor to say no liablilty accepted for delays. That wasn't what I asked but I didn't get a reply to my follow-up.
My parcel eventually arrived (after much chasing with EVRI) on the 11th May - 10 days late - so much for priority but I guess that's EVRI. We were away and on Friday 15th returned and opened the package to find the plates but no fitting kit. I phoned at 13:55 and left a message - they never answer the phone (having tried both option 1 and 2) and they never returned the call. I emailed at the same time requesting a refund for the missing fitting kit but have not yet received a reply.
They really need to sort out their customer support side of the business.
Needless to say, I would not recommend this business.

New plate ordered for new private reg, quality was good and arrived eventually but not same day dispatch as advertised. Received no tracking number, no reply by email and no one ever answered the phone even after repeated attempts on different days and times. Website clearly states SAME DAY DESPATCH and speedy delivery but in my experience this was not the case. They state sticky pads provided in the kit but none provided, provide a tracking number but none provided and state 4.9 stars on their website for customer reviews, but trustpilot level is 3.6 so overall you get your plates but not as advertised.
3 Stars only as whilst they are good plates and fair cost, the Customer service/communication, speed of delivery, Website info and ratings is selective marketing hype and not a reflection on my experience

We lost a plate - it came off whilst out driving, so its nowhere near being deliverd yet.needed a replacement fast. Ordered from this company for the first time, and paid an extra £10 for "express delivery" - which says we should receive the plate within 1-3 days......7 days later and still no sign of the plate arriving. Having emailed them to complain and got a standard rubbish reply. Checked tracking, its nowhere near being delivered yet. What a rubbish Company! Don't believe the rubbish written about delivery - its lies!

I've used Carplates Direct on a few occasions now and had nothing but great service from them. Easy to use website for ordering and absolutely no problem with communication or dispatch times. Will definitely use them again.

Terrible company sent wrong plates and didn’t remedy the matter don’t answer phone or emails

Do not use this company absolutely hopeless customer service none existent next day delivery more like 10 days and that’s if they turn up at all do not use at all costs

Don’t use this company, just look at the poor reviews. They owe me a refund, but I’ve given up. No one answers the phone and no one replies to emails.

Bought number plates Friday delivered on Monday morning. Very good service and communication. Would use again no hesitation
