Carter London Avis 65

Very poor quality clothing. Nothing as described or shown on their website. Claim to be a UK company but they ship from China and despite claiming to accept returns I had my return rejected on their end after it arrived back in China. When I followed up, asking what the reason was, I still haven’t had a reply after about 1 month. 100% just a scam.

Do not use this company it’s a scam.

Absolutely disgusting service offering me 10% discount whilst trying to dodge me returning the goods. They have done everything to avoid me returning the goods. Then they told me i could return them to CHINA! At my own expense but i would still not receive a refund unless they had recept of the goods which is out of my hands. Do not buy anything from this company as they look like a happy young couple selling from the UK but they are actually importing from China. Probably chinese too. I feel very let down and scammed!!!! Oh yes and they took 4 weeks to get them to me!!

Cannot get information regarding return. The site says you can return but they block you at every point. I am going to stop payment. I did not know this is a Chinese company. I will never order from a Chinese company again. They just do a good job of hiding it

I ordered a jumper with a large cat face on that was advertised on Instagram by Parkercarterlondon. I obviously checked their website first and they came across as a small family boutique. I felt something was wrong when it took so long for them to confirm my order and the delivery was at least 4 weeks. When the jumper arrived it was completely different with the only similarity being a large cat’s face on the front. The material was spongy and cheap, not at all like the thin woollen one they had a picture of on their site. I tried contacting them and reporting them to Instagram but they seem to have vanished. Their website has been removed.

I purchased a Bomber Jacket from Dave & Carter that was bog standard to say the least, you wouldn’t have bought it at a boot sale second hand for £1.50! Stay clear of them 💯% SCAMMERS!! I have actually involved Trading Standards/other who are investigating them, it will take months but I’m prepared to wait for an outcome good or bad. I couldn’t even get my money back through my bank which was disappointing, needed to prove it was a Scam, but that’s not good enough as I explained the situation & have all necessary information that TS asked for to start a case against Dave & Carter. D&C’s process is set against you from the start & they aren’t going to refund unless you return your item, they know you won’t because it costs more than many items are worth, they are actually in China I have 2 Addresses for them, their phone & email are a waste of time, basically a walk up the garden path to nowhere. Avoid the grief & shop elsewhere at your trusted high street or legitimate online stores that you can trust. Also, do your homework first, if in any doubt 🧐 don’t go there, lessons learned.

I waited over a month, tried to cancel but kept being told - I cant as it is in transit.

Arrived today and it is NOTHING like what is pictured on the website, NOTHING!!

Please, stay away from this scam site.

I knew the minute I saw it was coming from China, that I had been scammed.

Asked for a refund and to return and still waiting for a response.

I’ve given it a 1 star as you cannot leave a review with no stars. Absolute rip off. Ordered the knitted poppy cat jumper and received a poor quality gaudy acrylic non knitted item. Just a poor quality printed top. Appalled by the scam. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered the Ellen, Heritage knit jumper. Beautiful on the website. Arrived after 2 weeks, a cheap, 100% acrylic, horrible looking rag.
So, so disappointed.
No contact for customer service other than a form to fill in, avoid at all costs!

Order is very late, tracking does not work. The product actually comes from China, the quality is very bad.

I ordered something in September, still haven’t received anything. I emailed multiple times but they don’t reply. Don’t order here!

I’d give zero stars - the quality of the suit is horrendous, looks nothing like the picture. £50 to return an £80 item. Reporting the company to stranding standards. These guys are con artists. DO NOT PURCHASE!

I ordered a mane's size 2xl rain coat, three weeks later a coat come size large 40 inch chest, it's way to small
for me, and it was parcel up like a Rugby ball.
Keep away from this company, a return address I have
found is for a ware house in Hong Kong.
I hope there is a UK return address for this company.

It would appear that this scam website has now been taken down. Thankfully!
It was a fraudulent misrepresentation, to pretend that is was a high-end London Fashion house, pretending to be closing down.
In fact the fraudsters take payment in the Netherlands, and cheap goods ( if any come at all) come from China.
I complained to my credit card company and received a refund.
The shop on the website never existed, nor did the people in the photograph. The address in Manchester on the confirmation email you receive, doesn't exist either.
Some of the goods displayed, demonstrated photos that I thought I had seen on the TEMU website, which is a legitimate company, and you know what you are ordering from China and what you are ordering from local providers.
I sent an email to TEMU re potential breach of its copyright. It confirmed that it had no association with Carter London and that its fraud department were on it. They also sent me a £20 (no minimum spend) voucher, which I used to buy a beautiful, soft bed fleece.
If anybody is out of pocket as a result of this scam, please contact your credit card company/ bank to try to obtain a refund.

Please don't buy from this site. You are led to believe that you are dealing with a British company but the products are shipped from China. My clothes arrived but were of poor quality and too small. I made the mistake of sending them back to China at considerable expense for a refund and after 4 months they have been returned to me with no refund and Carter London are blocking my emails. Just have to put it down to a lesson learnt!

Complete scam bought from them 3 weeks ago apparently my parcel came today but turns out it was js a thank you letter

Please, please DO NOT USE this site!! You are led to believe that you are dealing with a British company but the product is shipped from China. I was dissatisfied with my dress costing £49 and it has been impossible to arrange a return of the item for a full refund.

HORREDOUS TREATEMENT OF CUSTOMERS - QUALITY OF THE ITEM SENT DDINT MATCH DESCRIPTION - EMAILS IGNORED WHEN TRYING TO CONTACT THEM , NOW I AM BLOCKED FROM ALL CONTACT - OFFERED REPLACEMENT , HOWEVER THIS WAS AT A FURTHER COST ?? REALLY ?? PLEASE AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS - UTTERLY SHOCKING

Terrible experience. I’ve never received the order placed 3 weeks ago.
I placed the order on their website and now when trying opening the company page, there is no information available.
Definitely a scam, do not waste your money.

Contrary to a previous very poor review, I am really happy with the experience I have just had with this company.
I ordered a pair of summer shoes from them on the 28th June having seen that same advert on Pinterest and I remember it said they said they were packing up their business. The shoes were 50% off.
I had 6 emails from them ( following their initial email of acknowledgment of the order) and was kept up to date with the progress of the order which I was impressed with. I knew they were coming from China as I’d tracked it initially.
I have today received the shoes, which I didn’t think was a big delay and they are beautiful. So well made and the colours are just as advertised and I honestly have never had shoes this comfortable, ever. I am so glad I bought them!
I don’t work for the company. I just had to give another side to Carter London because I am one happy customer!
