Casella makes every other trash collector look phenomenal! I always had to call to ensure they didn’t forget me. They broke a trash can but I had to report it. It took 5 weeks to get a new one, and that is only because I spoke to a supervisor. Everyone else just blows smoke. Now they are claiming I did not pay my bill. They got a new billing system, and can’t find previous payments. Due to their dumbfounding ineptness and stupidity my trash gets to rot in their containers for probably another week, as they told me it would be picked up as soon as possible. More lies. Go anywhere else. I am.
The entire month of march thru April 6th had to fight for trash pick up..
We have been with them from the beginning… They are horrible I literally would call every tues to see if they got my trash. Took trash out every Mon evening for 6 weeks never late on payment and couldn’t get my trash picked up..So incompetent that they didn’t even know why the driver didn’t pick it up. I had them pull up Google Maps to show my home.. they brought new trash cans and said that would help..Another joke husband cancelled last Tue .. we are now with EVERGREEN they came yesterday 7 am recycling and 7 :10 trash 9:00 am for new trash even cheaper than Casella and recycling is every week Casella every other.. and they still have not picked up there trash can’s … THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND WILL REMAIN HORRIBLE AND WON’T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!!! NEVER EVER WOULD I RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

This company totally ripp off string customers along customers along. They very rude on phone to deal with. Go with anyone else this company keeps raise prices, adds unauthorized fees constantly.
The service is excellent - Costs getting out of control!
The service is excellent. The drivers have never missed a pickup day and always replace the containers neatly and just as I left them. Billing is another story - over the past two years, the U.S. cost of living has risen approximately 5% - Casella's monthly fees have risen 23.5% since I started with them two years ago. While fees to Casella have risen, they need to restructure internally rather than bleed customers dry!

Picked up the trash but missed the recycling. I called the main office they let me know they’d be by the next day to take care of it. They were a no show,no call

The absolute worst, over 50 bucks a month and for the fourth time in less than 2 months did not pick up garbage with no excuse!

Casella has to be the most inconsistent…
Casella has to be the most inconsistent trash service known to man. Since they have started with our weekly trash service they have missed my house about once a month. Some weeks it recycling that doesn't come on the day scheduled, some weeks its the trash, other weeks its the yard waste. I can see when they first got the contract maybe figuring out the routes had some challenges but after a year or two there's no more excuses, I would have given no stars but thats not an option. Nothing like bringing the trash out to the end of the driveway just to bring it back into my garage so animals dont get at it three days in a row. Thanks again Casella
Casella is awful
Casella is awful. Don’t empty dumpsters when they are suppose to and still charge you for it! I cancelled my service and scheduled to have the dumpster picked up 1/30/26, but they came a week early (never did that emptying the dumpster) and I didn’t know they were coming. They bought Pinard, who I liked, and Casella prices keep going up. Save lots of money and use Win waste.
Terrible customer service-extremely…
Terrible customer service-extremely rude and unapologetic. Bulk pick-up is a pain to schedule and expensive (even though they say it is free, almost nothing qualifies for free). Their recycling policy is extremely detailed and they just leave items on the curb. If they miss a pick-up due to weather they just don't come for another whole week. Overall not worth the hassle to deal with this company-they do not value their customers at all.
This company is the absolute worst
This company is the absolute worst! They constantly skip our recycling pickup, weeks and weeks in a row. They have zero communication. What is even the point of having a recycle pickup. -100/10 Do Not Recommend! Do better PA!
I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. Please take your time and avoid this company. The trash pick up is horrible. I have been fighting with them to pick up a can for a month now. I’m so glad I switched to somebody else, but they still will not come out and pick up the empty container that’s on my property. They missed pickups, the lack of communication, is just horrible.
They missed our pick up, again
They missed our pick up, again. Waited on hold for 45 mins before giving up. We never had any problems with LMR for 20 years. Pulling our account.

How many times do I have to cancel this terrible company? They keep buying out the other garbage disposal companies and we keep getting stuck with them.
They decide randomly when to pick up your garbage. They tell you they will come. They never come. Don’t waste your time or take a chance on them. So bad.
over 30 years a customer but got a FU
Have been a customer of theirs since 1996. Recently realized that Casella has been over billing me for years due to an error on their end. When the discrepancy was brought to their attention they didn't care and would not refund or set the price to what it should be. In the process of getting a new company for my garbage collection

I wish I could leave 0 Casella is terrible. And very very sketchy don't trust them. They raised the price of my service by 50% without letting me know and when I told them I was willing the pay the agreed upon price they said nope you owe the new amount. I am filling a claim with BBB because based on other reviews I've read and how awful customer service was with me I think something should be done.
Messy rude drivers who lack common sense. Terrible customer service.
Casella driver spilled neighbors trash while having problems operating can dump/grab. Trash can flipped over and spilled trash all over neighbors yard. Driver gets out pissed off grumbling puts cans in different location next to the street where its more level, dumps the cans and leaves trash he previously spilled all over the ground. 2days later I am forced to pick the trash out of my bushes.
April 17th when I see driver return a couple weeks later I approach and explain what happened. I asked for what I said to be passed along if it wasn't him personally.
Stating in the future I will not pick up their spilled garbage again. I'll call instead have authorities document it and bill Casella for the removal. Driver instantly goes off screaming and hollering telling me not to talk to him says "I have no right to approach him".
So I called office and reported. Casella hired a rude mouthy idiot and they needed to know this is who is representing their garbage collection business.
After calling I'm not so sure anyone at Casella is customer service oriented.
The next time I'll document everything with local authorities and show them the video of the sort of 3rd rate service quality in our neighborhood. Hard to believe Casella would hire morons with no customer service skills.
In the future instead of just a friendly "Oh hey you spilled..." which would be much simpler. I'll send them evidence of the trash and charge them to have someone come remove it, seeing how that when approached just to make driver aware of what happened in the past and to curb future issues the ignorant driver starts acting like an psycho.
Just seemed the driver could have used some class and manners instead of trying to act tough about it and yell at me. Espicially when I ask them to not be messy and if they do to just clean it up not drive away and leave their messes.
Driver stated it wasnt him ...but given his low level of respect when speaking I'd have to believe he's the one who spilled it given his instant reaction when notified of what I would do in the future if it happens again.
Accidents happen it's what Casella does after that matters.
Never had this issue when it was T.T.T. they were respectful and made an effort and it was appreciated.
Casella ....no effort just drove away like a dirty litter bug would.
Casela is horrible
I wouldn't even give them one star. This company is horrible, pick up who and when they feel like it. I have had so many issues - today, garbage was picked up through my whole neighborhood EXCEPT mine (this isn't the first time). Just because I live at the end of the street, you can't tell me you don't see the bright colored bin! Some days they just miss our neighborhood altogether.
Call Someone else
Everything I've read is 100% the truth about this outfit. DO NOT do business with them. Whatever the situation is it's your fault and you'll be billed for it. The day they go bankrupt, the world will be a better palce.

I would give a zero if I could this company is awful. they took my containers, never replaced them. They expect me to put it on the ground, so the animals can get in to the garbage, and in addition when the garbage man comes to pick up my garbage, he jumps out of his truck, swearing and waving his arms like I did something wrong. That is when he decides to come and pick up the garbage customer service is absolutely horrific do not get this company. Pay the extra money and get a better company.
Not reliable
Our HOA contracted them for our neighborhood trash pick up but they are habitually either delaying pick ups or missing them altogether. After missing the scheduled Fri pick up, they came through Sat to some houses but not everyone. Now everyone missed will either have to bring trash back inside or risk the wildlife dispersing the trash throughout the neighborhood. I tried calling Casella but their customer service is only available M-F.
