Refusal to resend receipts/switch card

I used the wrong credit card for a purchase, and Caskers was unwilling to offer any solution. They would not reprocess the payment on a different card, they would not refund the original charge, and they did not provide receipts for the purchase despite multiple requests.

The only thing I think that comes to mind is AWESOME!

The only thing I think that comes to mind when I think of Caskers is totally outstanding company, their selections are off the chain. Their prices are fantastic. Their customer service is awesome. I love shopping there. I have such rare spirits. I’m having such a ball collecting and enjoying and I’ve never had a bad experience. Everything is just awesome and fantastic. Thank God thank God you’re around ha ha ha ha ha ha thank you I couldn’t say enough good things about this company. !!!

Awesome customer service!

Ran into issues with an order and the customer service team replied to my email right away. Communication was excellent and they resolved my issue as efficiently as possible.

BEWARE

BEWARE! I would give them zero stars if I could. I ordered 2 bottles of Basil Hayden special red wine cask finished bourbons for a friend for his birthday. First of all, I had to keep checking with them as it was weeks before anything was ever sent. Then they said they did not have it, but it clearly posted on their website that they do and were looking at another source to fill the order, which they already had charged me for. Then when the gift was finally delivered, only one of the bottles was the special blend I ordered 2 of, and they decided to substitute the second bottle with a different blend without asking if this was alright with me. They just sent it. It was only when my friend called to say thank you for the 2 different bottles of bourdon, I asked him to send a photo and saw that they substituted, without my permission, 1 bottle of what I ordered for a different bottle. So I reached out to them the next day via email, and they say someone from their SUPPORT TEAM would reach out. Well that never happened. But in the meantime, they told me in an email to have my friend not open the incorrect bottle of bourbon and to save the box that it was delivered in. So now I am embarrassed and have to ask my friend to do this. Mind you it was a gift. So I called and he said he had to run out to the recycle bin to fetch the box before the trash was removed later that day as it was recycling day. Makes you feel really great to have to ask someone to do this when this was a gift. With a large number of alcohol distributors on the internet to chose from, you would think that they would value a repeat customer, and I am a repeat customer stupidly, and vie for their business with better customer service. The first email was met with a very compassionate bot/person? who said a SUPPORT TEAM person would reach out as I supplied a copy of the original order and photos of the bottles delivered in my email. They then offered if I wanted to speak to a human representative they would make that happen. I decided to be polite and give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for someone from SUPPORT to reach out. After that did not happen, I sent 2 additional emails requesting to speak with a human. Both emails have fallen on deaf ears. So I will reach out to my credit card company with all email threads and documentation. Just wanted to let anyone considering using this company to be aware of the way they treat their customers, and that there are a lot of other options for your business. Horrific customer service.

Regarding the shipping delay, the vendor initially assigned to fulfill your order unexpectedly ran out of stock after your purchase was processed. We then worked to secure the bottles from an alternate source, which unfortunately extended the fulfillment time.

We’re also very sorry that one of the products received was incorrect and that you did not receive a follow-up from a customer support agent. We would absolutely like the opportunity to look into this further and make it right.

Charged twice - no shipment

I ordered 3 bottles. Received 2, no shipping info for the others - was charged twice - can't contact a person only AI.

As a response to Caskers answer - I did reach a person after emailing AI 3 times - twice!! The 1st charge for the split shipment was pending, 2nd went through even though it wasn't shipped (because it was out of stock) - terrible service

While our very initial responses are assisted by AI, your case was handled by two real customer support agents who communicated with you directly.

Regarding the charges, your order was split into two shipments. As part of our standard process, an initial authorization appears as a pending charge, and the product charge is completed only once a shipment is released. Since your order was split into two shipments, that resulted in two temporary pending charges. At your request, the second shipment was canceled, and no additional charge was completed for it.

We regret the frustration this caused and appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve the issue. Your feedback helps us improve both communication and transparency.

Never Caskers

Simple. Never order from Caskers. Looks good and simple up front but delivery process is questionable and customer service goes from absent to dishonest back to absent. There are other services that I have ordered from that are highly reliable and responsive. Just never order from these folks.

I had to contact them about a lost…

I had to contact them about a lost package on a weekend no less. The response was absolutely great, they addressed my issue and we ready to assist. since I had proof of a wrong delivery by UPS they were going to reship my order at no cost to me. Luckly the resident that received the mis shipment delivered it to the correct address. Very impressed with the customer service from Caskers. I will be ordering from them again.

Excellent Customer Service

I had a unique experience and had to cancel a big order due to not having anyone to sign for it. My full refund was issued back within 3 days. Excellent customer service and timely response.

Absolutely the worst customer service…

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Placed order, received confirmation, received shipping confirmation, but package never shipped! Sent multiple email mostly answered by bot all telling me I couldn’t cancel my order since it was already picked up by shipper. Called shipper who confirmed it had never been picked up. After 2 weeks of back and forth, they acknowledged the package was not shipped and agreed to refund my money. Only to later find out they deducted the shipping and handling.

Your order encountered a shipping delay. Because the label was already generated, we needed confirmation from the vendor to ensure the order had not been sent out before we could proceed with cancellation and a refund. We understand how frustrating this process can be.

Once this was confirmed, a refund was issued. The product amount and the shipping charge are processed separately, which is why the shipping refund was issued as a separate transaction rather than being deducted or withheld.

I have twice ordered from Caskers. Never disappointed. I had inadvertently deleted their email with tracking for my most recent order. Corky at customer service responded back almost immediately with all the info I needed.
