do not rely for catering emergencies

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with CaterKwik has been extremely disappointing.
Before placing my order, I specifically contacted them to check delivery times because the fridge was urgently needed for my business during a period of very hot weather. Based on the information I was given, I chose CaterKwik over another supplier.
Unfortunately, what started as an expectation of an early-week delivery turned into almost a two-week wait.
To make matters worse, I received virtually no proactive communication. I repeatedly had to chase for updates myself, and it was only after contacting the transport company directly that I discovered the wrong cabinet had been dispatched. At no point did CaterKwik contact me to explain the situation before I found out myself.
While delays can happen in any business, good customer service is measured by how those delays are handled. In my case, there was a complete lack of communication, no meaningful ownership of the issue, and no goodwill gesture despite the significant inconvenience caused to my business.
Every response simply referred back to their terms and conditions rather than acknowledging the poor customer experience.
Based on this experience, I won't be using CaterKwik again. There are plenty of suppliers in the catering industry, and unfortunately this experience has given me no reason to return.

Easy at all stages

Easy at all stages, great customer support and then the delivery staff were efficient and took the fridge right to were it was needed

I’m still in shock at how this company deal with there customers. So professional with no complications. Got a large beer fridge last year for my hubby ( birthday present) 😂 the chiller stopped working. And omg a new one was delivered within a week. Very happy customer indeed, and would not hesitate one bit to buy from them again. Ile be back

Glass washer order

Placed an order for an in-stock glass washer on 19th May, patiently waited for it to be delivered only to be told today that they sold it to another customer, never told me about it and now cannot deliver anything next day for my event this friday. Utterly appalling customer service. Joel told me that sometimes this happens and that the order was lost... Customer Service is non existent.

Excellent service from CATER-KWIK

Excellent service from CATER-KWIK, my Bottle Cooler stopped working after 8 years, the Refrigeration Engineer I called advised on getting a new cooler as there were a few faults and repair and replacement would be round about the same cost.

I looked on line an found CATER-KWIK

Supplied the same model so spoke to Jack Hampshire a Solutions Coordinator who was extremely helpful and very professional as I was dealing with a supplier to the commercial trade and I was a private buyer. He organised the purchase and I received confirmation from the MD Matthew Mayvers.

I’d requested the old model be taken away and paid a reasonable charge for this service, however later the Refrigeration Engineer called and asked if he could have the old model for training purposes. As normally only dealing with the domestic market he was unfamiliar with more commercial models.

I called once again and requested if I could have a refund and once again excellent service Charlotte Fay who arranged the repayment without any fuss.

I was notified of day and time of delivery and it arrived as promised; the Refrigeration Engineer arrived an hour later set the cooler in place and it now operates as it should.

I also dealt with other members of the CATER-KWIK Team who I do not have names for, but needless to say I received the same excellent service from all staff.

Pleased it got sorted before this heatwave as we once again have cold beer from the bar.

Bought couple of commercial catering…

Bought couple of commercial catering equipment. Electrolux pass through dishwasher as well and some hot water issues, machine was still under warranty, engineer turned up twice and not told me any thing. Fixed and received £ 357 invoice. Same issue again, called them and now they said warranty now expired. I asked why did you charged me when it was under warranty, engineer said it was clogged and not cleaned. Not true. Paid invoice and ask them to send engineer, sent me quote £200 call out charge and more , day light robbery. Never going to use them again.

Helpful customer service, great prices and good delivery

CaterKwik explained exactly what was going to happen on the delivery step by step, and then the 3rd party supplier/local delivery team lived up to expectations - which is very rare these days! We have an awkward unit to get to, and as a charity we rely on volunteers to help us with large deliveries, I was able to call the customer service team and explain our location, which was then passed on to the delivery men. Everything was easy and the quality of the freezer we purchased is great.

Purchased a Glasswasher

Purchased a Glasswasher it worked for 1 morning and then showed fault lights and would not work phoned and was advised no engineers were available waited from Friday to Monday phoned again on Monday to be advised no engineers were available for 7 days. Poor service on a brand new glassware do not use this company
