Highly recommmended.
Michael explained the process very well, attended to measure and booked an install appointment that he kept.
His work is excellent and he is very polite and thorough.
Also, he was very tidy.

Michael recently fitted a catflap through our exterior wall in the kitchen . He also built a wooden surround to protect it too. He is a very polite person and punctual .

If I could rate this 0 stars I would, please avoid this cowboy! Pictures of the door were provided before the job and rather than recommending we get a different door he has done a bodge job using an inch of silicone either side and looks ridiculous. Didn’t clean up any of his mess and got silicone all over the cat flap and door. Then when I tried to address this he instantly became defensive and very rude, unfortunately for him he must’ve thought I wouldn’t go this far and further to ensure nobody has deal with his rude manner and poor workmanship. £120 cash in hand this cost me.. I’m sure HMRC would love to hear about that too! Absolute cowboy and a coward who won’t take any calls to discuss this further! DO NOT USE!

I had a cat flap fitted through a brick wall and the whole process was really straightforward. Michael explained everything clearly, worked efficiently, and the finish is very neat. Great service and definitely recommended.

Michael cut a hole through a Victorian brick wall and lined it with slate, adding a SureFlap to it - 14 years ago, still looking beautiful. Today he fitted a new SureFlap to it as the old one had given up after good service. Couldn’t recommend Michael higher - and glad that he was able to fit a flap for our second cat.

I recently needed a cat flap installed in a window, a task I had not previously undertaken. Unsure of what to expect, I came across a recommendation on a local neighborhood website and decided to contact Michael Watson.

Michael was very helpful and provided a quote immediately, which was in line with the average rates I found on Google for both the installation and the cat flap itself. I opted to purchase the cat flap from him, as it simplified the process.

The sizing took about five minutes, and the installation was completed within a week, taking approximately 90 minutes to install. There was no upfront payment; I paid upon completion of the job, and I was very satisfied with the final result. Michael also assisted with the microchip process.

Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Michael, as he made the entire process straightforward and hassle-free.

**AVOID**

Very very rude when asked to come back to fix a problem which was that i asked for a medium sized yet a small to medium was fitted thus resulting in my young cat having to sprawl and almost pull himself through and i expressed i don't want any injury caused. Upon messaging he was extremely rude and suggested i have Neurosis and pitied my husband and said i was a 'Karen'!
I was told ''any problems let me know and i will come back''
This was NOT the case and he clearly doesn't like people questioning his work.
I had already paid £400 for the job and he said i would need to pay £200 for it to be changed
I would never recommend this aggressive man to go into anyones home.

Michael has just installed a new piece of glass in our door in order to instal the cat flap. His communication is great and he was able to measure and fit within a week. As others have said he is a lovely chap and did a very tidy job. Nothing is too much trouble for Michael, and I would have no hesitation using him again, thoroughly recommended.

We’ve now used Michael three times (since 2008) to install a cat flap for us every time we have moved house. On each occasion Michael has been utterly professional, reliable, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He is meticulous in his work and cleans up thoroughly once the job has been finished. The latest cat flap he installed for us was through a double glazed patio door and he has, once again, done a superb and very neat job. He is a genuine, lovely man and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Michael came recommended by my neighbour. he initially replied promptly and arranged to come on Thursday. When I asked him roughly what time he replied stating he couldn't be sure & implied he might not come at all. When I asked later in the day for clarity, having explained in the interim that I am a GP, the reply came that I should find someone else. When I replied saying "thanks, great service" the reply was "Spare me the sarcasm. It's too rich when coming from a member of a formerly esteemed profession which since having debased itself by becoming an army of government vaccinators at £25 an arm, members should remain in penitential silence".

So, I've been rudely cancelled at the last minute because I am a GP.

Oh, and it seems he is unvaccinated -if anyone has any sense they would not allow him in their homes.

Michael fitted a cat flap through a brick wall for me. His service was fantastic throughout - great communication, punctual, polite and tidy. He did a brilliant job and I’m so pleased. As the tunnel was going through brickwork I wanted someone who knew what they were doing. You can definitely tell that he has lots of experience in his field. A lovely man and thoroughly recommended!
